Welcome to BitcoinNepal.

This subreddit is dedicated to information/transaction of BTC in Nepal or between fellow daju/bhai/didi/bainis.

BTC relies on a trust-no-one system so please keep that in mind. However, our social structure relies on trust-a-lot so it will be interesting to see how we conduct business between ourselves.

If you're selling, then please tag your title with an [s].

Example: I got a few Bitcoin[s] if anyone wants.

If you're buying then tag with a [b].

Example: Need some [b]itcoins.

It would be nice to have the amount in your title.

Example: Anyone got 3 [b]itcoins I can purchase?

OR

Example: Anyone want [s]ell 5 BTC?

Pretty much sums it up.

Hoping to make a good circle of enthusiasts here.

Step up, community leader! We need you!

Hey guys. This sub of ours is getting an increase in members. To that effect we need more mods.

I created this sub but life has gotten in the way (kids, wife, job) and I might not be the best person to moderate posts.

I would love for some of you to share the load and join as mods.

Please submit your claim below. Add a bit of background as well. It’s nice to know what your interests are. Obv I’m gonna go over your post history to ensure you’re not a troll or an idiot (had one of those in my other thread).

Best Browser of 2020

After using all browsers (Internet explorer, Chrome, Safari, Opera, Firefox) for a long time recently I found Brave to be the best of all. It is a best for fast, private and ad blocking, malware blocking experience. It can even block the irritating ads on YouTube videos. Download now on your PC or mobile and try it yourself for the best result.

To all fellow Nepali Crypto Enthusiasts

Hello Everyone,

As our subreddit seems little sleepy thesedays, I have a question or let's say just a query, When did you first started buying/mining your crypto and what motivated you to? I suppose it'd be interesting to see everyones entry into it..We're not much crowded like those foreign subreddits and maybe when it'll help some new ones into it ( a believe a lot of Nepalese are).

[LEGAL] What is the current legal situation regarding bitcoins and alt-coins in Nepal?

I had already mine a couple hundred etherium coins before I looked up anything regarding the messy legal state of cryptocurrency in Nepal. Any news or ideas?

How do you cash out your coins?

Right now, I'm using Bitpanda to convert and transfer it Skrill and then from Skrill to eSewa. Skrill is yet to send my funds to eSewa, the transaction status is pending, perhaps because my ID and utility bills is under review and hasn't been verified yet. However, the exchange rates are terrible and I'm losing a lot of money. Any alternatives?

BCH or BTC?

I’m probably gonna jump ship and convert everything to BCH but wondering what the community thinks about it?

As to the why: FASTER CHEAPER BETTER COMMUNITY

Edit: I ended up w btc

BCH or BTC?

What are your thoughts? I used to think BCH was pure crap coin but on reading further it does seem to alleviate some of the pain points of BTC like speed of transaction and fees.

BCH is really surging right now so it might be time to convert some BTC over.

I really hope we have some HODLers in here. It’s hard to come across early Nepali BTC adopters. How’re you feeling right now??

Bitcoin Nepal

I don't see the reasons behind the people getting frustrated regarding bitcoin, as it is illegal in almost all reasons of the Asia. And also we can't deny the fact that money goes out of the country in an illegal way.
