Q: What to post?
A: Anything related to Maps really, these can be links, screenshots or technical information like updates.
Q: Should all sights be posted as an image?
A: No, you can post a direct link if you want, although a screenshot can be more user friendly.
Q: Why doesn't my link work?
A: Copying the URL from your address bar won't bring you to the same location. You can get a direct URL trough the share button at the top right.
Q: Are there higher resolution pictures available?
A: Maybe. Imgur greatly downsizes large files to cram them in a 1 mb space. Ask the creator, he probably does.
Q: I have another question.
A: You can always message the mods for further questions.

I'm guessing some of the delivery apps are using Bing maps because suddenly everyone is struggling to find us even though they used to have no issues finding our location.
I've submit feedback to Bing and confirmed that every other map database has our home address correct.
This is maddening!
So Bing Maps shows my personal house as a business. 6 years ago there was an dude who lived here who was an indepenent contractor, but this has never been a business. I reported this error weeks ago to Microsoft Bing, and they eventually made an update to the business information doesn't show up FOR ME, but it still appears to the public on the map; in other words they suppress the garbage information when I'm logged in and they know I'm the user, rather than correcting the information for the public. Does anyone know how I'm supposed get this fixed for real? what they have done is completely deceptive as it makes it look like they solved the problem when in fact they just hide the problem me.
I used to be able to view older Street View on Bing maps. Is that option still available? I have screen captures of a place I used to live but I cannot find that option anymore. Thanks!
I can’t really find it and have left multiple feedbacks with no follow ups. Any help?
This is mainly a complaint. I've created itineraries in the past, and I can still view them. I have a trip coming up and want to add an itinerary for it, but there is no "add" button. I was able to add a Collection of restaurants that I want to go to in my destination city, but I want to create a day-by-day itinerary for it. I gave up and instead created a Guide in Apple Maps on my iPhone. What's up, MS/Bing? Is "Add Itinerary" really gone?
I'm seeing that Bing Maps sources their data from TomTom, so presumably if I update TomTom then it should update in Bing Maps, however, I've submitted updates to TomTom and I don't see them carried over yet.
What's the process to get Bing Maps updated?
I've updated roads in OSM, Google Maps, and TomTom, and they all show correct, but Bing Maps is still wrong.
Hello,
Can I somehow add places to bing maps? I live near to smaller villages where they have pubs, restaurant etc. but they won't show up on bing maps.
Can I somehow add it to bing? As not owner of the bussiness, just map contributor.
I know that google maps has this feature, you just contribute to the map, and the business owner can claim it afterwards with proofs to google of the ownership.
This used to be easy, but has become impossible most of the time. Right click to open menu, choose "Measure Distance" Left click to set the first point, then left click on the next point.
Instead, when setting the first point now the map zooms out, the MD note at the left closes and the regular menu expands.
I have had to resort to using G-maps, and nobody should have to do that.
Is there a fix? Has something changed that is not obvious?
Hi everyone - does anyone know if there is a way to upload .json files to Bing Maps as custom map? I am working with a real estate website that allows download of property coordinates as .json files, but I can't find a way to display these together or upload them outside of the 'Edit Maps' page, where I can view one at a time. Thanks for any help you can provide.
I’m curious to know what you think about the potential features or possibility BingMaps will have with the integrations of ChatGPT. Do you think it will be useful? What features would you like to see? What are your thoughts on the integration?
Hi all, this is my first post for the sub.
Here and there I've contributed some locations photos from my metro to Bing maps.
It's immediately obvious that the experience of contributing for Google maps, and Bing maps is not the same. Bing's contribution features feel a little 'forgotten'.
How does one change the default mode on my Bing maps away from DARK MODE. This changed about 3 months ago, and now every damn time I open a map in Bing, it's in dark mode, which I hate. Why does MS and BING not want to let the end user have control? So tired of it. Any help other than just STOP using bing and edge and MS?
Bing has our house location wrong. The pinned location is off and apparently Amazon uses Bing for their mapping and deliveries and this error causes our packages to constantly get sent elsewhere. I’ve tried to send in problem reports to bing and also tried to deal with Amazon. Is there any way to correct this. Btw. Google and Apple Maps both have it right. It’s just Bing.
How is the traffic data and consequential routing on Bing Maps compared to Google Maps?
I am using 3D imagery inside of a video I am making. Nothing too fancy. The satellite imagery comes from Bing Maps.
Example Image of Anchorage, Alaska
According to the Broadcast Terms, it's free of charge but I must show the Bing Logo as I show this part.
Is that correct?
I am confused because those terms, for example, say:
You may not remove any search box, portion of the results, or advertisement.
but that's obviously not applicable for what I'm doing. I used the Bing Maps API in order to get the visuals / height data, however from my understanding of the API Terms of use, my usage falls under Section 3) (e) Media, entertainment and broadcast use (bottom of page), which brings me back to the Broadcast Terms mentioned above.
Or am I better off using Google Maps Imagery?
