I've worn this helmet in a shop, it's comfortable and fits great but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it's reliable or not as I'm taken aback by it's cheap price tag.
I have a 1 piece (size UK 34) and it fits perfectly (my chest is 31 inches) but I was wondering what measurements is a size 36 1 piece?
Im currently preparing to buy my first motorcycle and I want to buy my gear before i do. Im unsure which brands to buy gear from or what to watch out for and would really appreciate any advice. The bike im looking to buy is a used kawasaki ninja 400, i am not concerned about the price when it comes to gear!
I'm 17, just got my first bike and want to get good leathers like RST or something but I can't find anything in the right size. I'm 5'8, chest 31 inches and waist 29 inches. Anything that is the correct torso size is always too short and anything long enough is always too big. Does anyone know of a brand that does custom sizing or any way to get over this issue?
Hi, so recently i had an alarm on my bike (the red thing in the picture) and it came with a remote (the thing next to the alarm in the picture). But i've loose my remote outside and it's over, i need to buy a new one. But here the thing: in fact we can find pretty easly the remote alone on internet (for like 5$) but i don't know how it will know how to be link with my alarm? Do i need to do something to get the new remote to be linked with my alarm ?
The name of the alarm : Antusi A8
Hello everyone. I'm looking to buy a FULL-FACE* motorcycle helmet but I don't really know where to start. You visit a manufacturer's website and it's all "XRT55", "RC7GP", "GFD89" which mean pretty much nothing to me. Currently I have a jet LS2 helmet which I want to replace.
The market where I live is a bit smaller and you can't go in a large dealer (like maybe Revzilla for example) and wear and see EVERY helmet available. For example one shop has some Arai and HJC. Another shop has some other Arai, Bell and AGV. And so on, you get the idea.
Because of that, I have to make a list with any helmets that fit my criteria, see which shops have them and then go about visiting each one to see how they fit my head, which I'm very peculiar about. So what's my usecase and criteria:
Thank you
edit: Forgot to add! It would be cool if it was ECE 22.06 rated
Hey! I'm looking for a new bike helmet that doesn't make my head look funny. I bought a POC Omne AIR Mips and it felt good wearing it, but looking at myself and seeing my bald head trough the vents I just can't cope with the image. It just doesn't look right with the mushroom on my head with a bald head appearing beneath. So now I'm looking for a new road bike helmet with less front vents. I must mention that I am not interested in those full coverage /skate type helmets. Any recommendations?
Does anyone know a website/brand that sells one piece leathers similar to that of old motogp gear like the ones with all the sponsors and Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Triumph brands all over it with those bright colours because all I can find is black one pieces?
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a replacement clip to hold the visor onto my helmet? It seems to have become bent and now the visor pops off that side. Carbon Piece with the arrow on it in this photo.
I’m honestly just so baffled. Perhaps I am just grossly uninformed, or merely a misguided squid. But I’m trying to figure out this whole gear situation. I’ve been told Ideally to be shopping for AA or greater certified gear for the type of riding I intend to do. Is it just an industry thing? I search and search through brand after brand for gear and they simply do not seem to have a CE rating for anything but the odd included armour. Is it perhaps that I’m shopping in Canada? Or am I totally out to lunch and there are standards I’m confused on regarding the whole armour situation? Do these things go without saying? I’d assume you can only advertise a certified product if it’s indeed certified? But why do these “premium brands” seem to neglect to get certified at all..?
TL:DR. What is going on with CE ratings for armour and abrasion resistance, am I missing something key to this puzzle?
Does anyone know any good gear brands for beginners? Recommendations are welcomed!! Please and Thank youuu!
Hi, I'm looking for some good quality gloves preferably water resistant. Any recommendation pleasee?
Anyone know the type of visor for this helmet? Or have a link? Any help appreciated
This is something I'm kicking myself for not having realized sooner so maybe you already have, but hopefully I'll save someone else some pain here too:
If two sizes of a helmet model use the same shell size, there's a good chance the only difference between them is the removable padding, meaning you can probably buy across sizes and then just swap the pads out if availability is bad in your size.
I've been shopping around for a new helmet for a while because I've got a Bell MX-9 Adventure in 3XL that fits great, but I really hate being stuck with a plain black helmet and wanted to also maybe check out something more road-oriented. The problem I've been running into is that I can't find a single helmet that fits as well as a Bell 3XL and Bell doesn't sell their 3XL helmets in any color other than matte black and the occasional gloss black. Finally had the thought yesterday that maybe I could just swap out the pads and liner on a 2XL for the 3XL version. I sent customer service an email and they confirmed that that is the case, at least for the MX-9, Qualifier, and Eliminator that I asked them about.
I still haven't bought a new helmet yet, but I'm so glad that when I do I won't have to compromise between comfort and being able to get something more colorful.
Hope this helps someone!
Hello - I am new to riding and trying to get a motorbike helmet. I want to get an HJC c10 but I am gonna order from overseas so I can get one that is actually ECE 22.06 certified. However I can’t find any freaking HJC helmets to even try on. Anyone have experience with their helmets that can speak on their sizing? My head is a little over 56 cm (between a small and a medium) and I don’t want to order a helmet, not have it fit, and then spend another $80 having to return it and get a larger size. I’ve tried on Sedici Strada and was a medium in that. I couldn’t even fit a medium on my head in ICON, wore a large in Scorpion, and a medium in Bell but honestly should’ve tried on the smaller longer cause the medium did really push my cheeks in like they should.
I agree with everyone who says to try on helmets before buying them but it is not feasible for me with where I live to try on the helmets I’m wanting to get. I’ve driven 2+ hours to get to good stores that have motorcycle gear and while I got some good boots and gloves, they don’t have helmets that are ECE 22.06 certified that fit me that aren’t ARAI or SHOEI. Nothing against those brands - they are great but out of my price range when I can get something pretty similar in safety for less.
Looking to get a 150cc moped, but want to be smart and get the proper Kevlar clothing, having trouble finding sites that seem scam free so any tips on “affordable” Kevlar jeans and flannel shirts.
Hey y’all! Hoping someone can help me out I need full interior replacement parts (Cheekpads, center pad, chin skirt) for an XL Shoei RF1200 helmet. Revzilla and Amazon are out of stock so if anyone has these pads in decent condition or know where I can get them it would be much appreciated!
I'm looking for motorcycle boots that are comfortable enough to wear all day long. However, protection is important. I want these to hold up and if I take care of them last me maybe even become a permanent pair that I pay to resole.
Any recommendations? Bonus points if they look good while in slacks or jeans.
Even just pointers on how to shop for them because there are so many options and a ton of them are bad options.
Truth behind why people selling riding gear less than half price ? Please guide I should buy cheap price riding gear or I have to buy with original price from authorised dealer.
Does anyone happen to own any of these two? I could maybe try the Arai locally but not the R10.
I want to know which one is BEST for supporting RX Glasses. I'm currently using the AVG K6 and its terrible with my RX Glasses.
Anyone know of a brand that makes jackets with a double zipper? I don't mean two layers that zip in the same direction, but i mean where the main zipper has two zippers, one going up, one going down. I'm a bigger dude and i ride a street triple, it would be nice if i could zip up from the bottom a bit to make more room where my belly hits the tank. Jackets often get bunched up there. I have snow jackets that have this so you don't get jacket in your face when you're sitting on the ski lift, seems like it would work well on a sport style bike as well. All the googling i do for double zip jackets refers to jackets with two zippers on different panels for insulation. Thanks.
Hoping to upgrade my Helmet to a new helmet that can handle highway riding and similar terrain. My current Helmet (Bell Qualifier DLX Mips Helmet) Which is comfortable and a good starting helmet and now I'm looking for a nice helmet as I am riding more and would like something that is more suited for what I'm doing and to help with the wind noise, Just looking for some advice and others opinions on this subject as I'm not informed about helmets, The helmets I was looking at were the
SHOEI NXR2,
SHOEI GT-AIR 3,
HJC RPHA 12 ,
RPHA 1N.
Just looking to see if anyone who currently has on or has had one of these in the past has any little things that specify liked or didn't like about then and if there are any other options people would suggest.

For those wondering I have a ninja 400 and am doing normal riding around the town and the occasion going on the highway but nothing to crazy.
I've also tried on most the helmets that are available in the US on but for getting the helmets from Europe I'm not sure if the sizing changed or how to order them of if just any website works.
I really really really like these boots. The model I’m looking at is on RIDERICH.com
Also, has anyone purchased any RIDERICH products? They are the only company with an appealing aesthetic for riding gear. I purchased the mesh riding jacket yesterday. Eagerly waiting and hoping it’s a good jacket.
Worn on the thigh, calf or ankle- for you or your pillion riders safety.
So I have according to redwing size 8 1/2 H width feet. Meaning I need a really big toe box in boots. Is there any motorcycle boots that would fit my feet? I tried Alpinestars smx s boots and they were way too small...also they wouldn't close because my calves are too big :( Any ideas?
Notice I didn't say "cheap". All I want is a good quality, plain, full-face helmet. I do not need any special mounts or colors (solid would be better), built-in headphones, or anything else like this. I also want a Snell rating.
Thanks, in advance, for taking the time to read.
Hi chaps, I'm just wondering are you guys recommend for airbag jackets. I'm unsure whether to get a vest (Like a helite) or a jacket (RST Axiom) with in&motion I'd like to hear thoughts and recommendations from anyone, im tempted by these cheaper jackets by RST but want to hear from others. Shiny side up
