Does anyone have a recording of his show from a few weeks ago? It was aired on Amazon Prime live but there was no replay made available and it seems nowhere to be found. I know some super fan definitely recorded it and I’d love to be able to watch it. Thanks !!
How to be like Big Sean
Has anyone received the tracklist tee yet it said 2-3 weeks when i ordered it way back. I’ve sent an email but not received anything yet. Just wondered if it was just me…
Hey all, title says it all. I'm hoping someone has a copy of the CD version (The 10 track one). I'm interested in how the earlier cut of the album compares, but can't find any rips of it online. If anyone could help please DM me!
Seems like there’s a lot of mixed reviews on this album. It hasn’t left my rotation since it dropped and imo it’s definitely one of his best projects. How y’all feeling?
This song I found is super good but feels very monotone and just depressing almost to hear as if was similar to a suicide note or a goodbye and thank you type of song almost similar to never see me again. Maybe it was him sleepy or something but you can tell his mood was not in the moment for the lyrics or it was the beat that could've been different. Just any info was help how it was found I tried researching a bit but couldn't find much of anything: https://youtu.be/dZ1LutWkqNU?si=HXDN0n__6QLtatIA
I have other songs these are just from the recently added ones. What other big sean would you recommend?
I have a theory it was to appease Drake in some way, but I don’t get it. Sean doesn’t even work with Drake like that anymore.
That really disappointed me in Sean when Quentin told that story of how he ghosted him for no reason out of the blue. Quentin has been railroaded repeatedly and it doesn’t make sense. At least Nas & hit-boy didn’t do him dirty.
Don’t get me wrong I’m a Big Sean fan and really liked the album. It’s definitely one of his best. However I couldn’t help but notice his complete absence in the media not just music these couple of years. No interviews(like his song), no pop ups, no social media presence, no photos ops, no hit singles in the past 4 years, and 0 promotion for this new project. He essentially ghosted us fans leaving us to guess what’s going on. I literally only found out he had a new album because my brother happened to stumble on it in Apple Music. On top of that there’s so much new music nowadays him taking such a long break killed his career. He was never at the levels of fame a Kendrick or J Cole etc were at. He’s always had a cult following but most mainstream people didn’t even acknowledge his existence even at his peak in the 2010’s claiming he’s lame or not as good as X A-list artist. After all this I can honestly see him canceling his tour and going home to be a family man. Do some singles as a feature and show up at festivals from time to time but that’s about it. What do yall think is his next move at this point?
My favorite era has always been Dark Sky. When he released this and even 1st quarter, it set the tone fr. And key wane on the beat? My favorite bpm
I’m not a huge big Sean fan, but he was undoubtedly one of the biggest rappers of the 2010s. Yet he never gets mentioned in any conversations of best rappers. He’s not that close, but he deserves to be in the conversation. He has more billion streamed songs than Young Thug and the same amount of billion streamed songs as J Cole. He’s not as good as them, but where’s the respect?
After a few weeks of listening to this album there is almost nothing bad about it at all. This project has a certain feel to it I can’t explain. I find myself playing this album from start to finish with no problems and every song has a cohesive feel to the album and flows smooth. Could just be recency bias but this could go down as his best album to date
I swear the vocal sound that is heard throughout It is What it is is sampled from another song but I can't put my finger on it
I bought the blue vinyl and the songs are in a completely different order than on Spotify. Js this on purpose or did he put them wrong on Spotify lol
Can someone break down the first few lines of “Break the Cycle?” Having trouble understanding the meaning.
Man this album is straight heat from start to finish. Has a perfect mix of every vibe and is cohesive. I truly do not understand how people are hating on this project, this is what quality music sounds like
