The basic premise would be that a strange explosion would be set off somewhere in the midst of the city of San Fransokyo, releasing a mysterious green mist. While most people seem unaffected by it, some certain individuals end up in a state of metamorphosis as a result of inhaling. So our heroes must band together to find out who or what may be behind this as well as help those affected by it, especially when they learn a secret about a close friend or two of theirs...
I got a Baymax inflatable costume off of eBay and I'm thinking about new things I never thought about Baymax. Now I get that Baymax is a fictional animated character, but things still generally make sense with physics. Perhaps they break down at times. But it raises fun questions for me
Like what is the mechanism that inflates Baymax. It doesn't seem like it is a continuous blower. It is pretty held together in there. But how rigid is Baymax? It doesn't seem like Baymax is very effected by the wind. But breeziness is a huge deal in the costume. I guess the other thing is, do you think Baymax is one big chamber, or many smaller chambers of air. Like Just thinking about Baymax
Yep. Exactly 10 years ago, on October 25th, 2014, Big Hero 6 was released at cinemas. Also, Big Hero 6 is, likely, the only Disney movie ever, that was released in Russia earlier, than in the USA(in the USA, Big Hero 6 was released on November 7th, 2014). Big Hero 6 is an amazing movie:I love the story about a genius teenage boy Hiro Hamada, who lives in futuristic San Fransokyo with his big brother Tadashi, his aunt Cass and his pet, Mochi the Cat. Also, I love the dynamic between Baymax and Hiro and I was about to cry, when Baymax sacrifised himself to save Hiro and Abigail. Hiro's friends are perfect example, what real friends should have been-caring and willing to help each other in troubles. Don Hall made great work with adapting Big Hero 6 in movie form:7 years later, in 2021, he made less cool, but still decent Raya and The Last Dragon, but unfortunately, he also was one of the directors of gross Strange World, which came out in 2022. So, for me, Big Hero 6 is his best work ever. The only minuse of Big Hero 6 is Professor Callaghan's arc:I understand his anger towards Allister Cray, but why he tried to kill Hiro with his friends, if they weren't guilty? I still can't understand even 10 years. But this minus is overwhelmed by the pluses of the movie. Music in Big Hero 6 is greatly written:my most beloved song is "Immortals" by Fallout Boy. Humour in Big Hero 6 is also funny, thanks to Fred and Baymax(this guys are the most funny characters in movie). Characters in Big Hero 6 are interesting:even a villain has good traits, as he's loving father to his only daughter Abigail(I don't know, what happened to her mother. Is she dead or she divorced her husband?) And, last moment, that I'd like to point-Russian dubbing. Big Hero 6 wasn't just released in Russia 13 days prior to the US release, but it's Russian name means "City of Heroes"(Город Героев in Russian). Russian dubbing was made very good and it sounds if not better, than, at least, as best, as original voicing. Baymax was dubbed by Maxim Sergeyev(he also was Russian voice of Chick Hicks in Cars and Cars 3 and Captain Smek in Home). Aunt Cass was dubbed by Elena Ternovaya, Russian voice of Flo in Cars trilogy. Honey Lemon was dubbed by Yulia Rudina, who also was Russian voice of Jessie in Toy Story 3. Heathcliff was dubbed by Alexey Makretsky(he also was Russian voice of Grem in Cars 2). Professor Callaghan was dubbed by Yuri Lazaryev, who also was Russian voice of Skipper Riley in Planes duology, Chuckles the Clown in Toy Story 3, Fei Fei's grandfather from Over the Moon and Scar from the Lion King. Big Hero 6 is one of my most beloved Disney movies and I'm so sad, it didn't get decent sequels(Big Hero 6:The Series and Baymax! aren't counted):I'd have been very happy, if Don Hall had made Big Hero 6 sequel instead of Strange World. But, probably, Big Hero 6 sequel won't be made at all. Whatever, happy jubilee, Big Hero 6!
For me it would be:
Give Wasabi a Girlfriend/Boyfriend who teaches him that’s it’s ok to be out of your comfort zone for awhile {Basically just like Snorpy and Chandlo’s dynamics from Bugsnax.}
Make Hardlight the villain of Season 3 alongside the food mascots.
Show Trina more before she’s revealed as the villain during the Season 2 finale.
Don’t cut the episodes into Two 11 minute segments in Season 3.
Have Gogo’s love of birdwatching and Honey Lemon’s love for art be permanent.
And most importantly: Have Aunt Cass figure out the true identities of Hiro and his friends as big Hero 6!
Some of the concepts that the movie revolves around are grief, mortality, and humanity. The idea of someone stretching the limits of science for their loved one who they perceived as gone. It's such a common thing to go through, which is why I originally thought "Immortals" was an insensitive song choice. But after a lot of reflection, I think it was oddly genius. The song focuses on how no one is born immortal, but through the course of their life they could do things that cause them to be forever immortalized in the minds of their loved ones, maybe even in the public consciousness.
Sorry this was a bit long, and I'm probably overthinking this. But I really want to hear more opinions on this! Feel free to comment, I'll try to respond :)
I've seen a lot of people shipping him with his friends (especially Gogo) when he's still barely a teen (it's been stated several times in both the movies and the show that he's in the first stage of puberty) and based on the fact they all go to college, his friends are probably 19+... I mean, it's a bit illegal.
Finialy re watched the movie for the first time after it first came out and all i can say is wow. Great movie the animation and especially the story. My favorites are always sad scenes and this movie did it especially that late part. Just have a question since Hero advanced so much with bmax is the new one like not as advanced? By this i mean is he connected too Hero the same as they were before.
I'm just wondering because of a talk I had with a sibling. They said it isn't since the movie strayed so far from the source material, that they can barely consider it an inspiration. They believe that it didn't need to be taken from an existing Marvel property at all and only did it to amass interest.
Asking here because of the robot’s resemblance to Baymax of course.
Got Another Lot from The Old BH6 Concept Vault. Shame They Didn't Try and Develop These Guys Further for The TV Series. They Definitely Have More Identity Than The Mad Jacks. Enjoy :)

Fred's father, former superhero "Stan The Man," battled a number of supervillains and gangs in his day. One of those gangs was the Banzai Bandits: High-octane action junkies who committed crimes simply for the excitement of it, always striving to outdo their last stunt. The greater the intensity, the greater the high they experience. When you consider that they were all party animal high school dropouts with reckless streaks taller than San Fransokyo's skyscrapers, you can see how dangerous these people were. When their final stunt failed, many assumed the Banzai Bandits had died as a result of their recklessness.
In actuality, Stan The Man had saved the Banzai Bandits from certain death. This near-fatal encounter effectively quenched the gang's desire for thrills, prompting them to quit. After serving their sentence, the original Banzai Bandits retired to a monotonous, ordinary, and safe lifestyle. They even became parents themselves, pleased with their situation. Their kids, on the other hand, weren't. Knowing that your boring old parents were once a cool criminal gang that performed all these wild stunts while fighting a superhero sounded awesome. They only learned this after their parents shared such information in an attempt to impress their children. These youths have now formed the new Banzai Bandits, complete with upgraded copies of the original gang's technology. With Stan The Man too old to deal with these sinister successors, it's up to Big Hero 6 to bring them in.

I'm not sure wether I should say GG or Fs for mascot girl, don't know if she ever got named, but after going through all that, I want to know how much she's spending on mental health care.
Seriously, to go through what she did, so many times, and still be willing to go back to work at the theme park, just with a different theme.
Hopefully puppies will be good enough for everyone, real puppies this time, maybe even ones in need of a good forever home.
The ending of season 3 was rather mid, but I suppose Disney was probably to blame.
Nerd crush was absolutely adorkable, but for real, what about Megan?
Found These Lovely Ladies Whilst Digging Through The Concept Vault. Figured That If My Version of Yama is Kingpin, He Might as Well Have Him Some Enforcers. Enjoy :)

As a criminal boss, there is often limited room to deal with certain issues personally. Rikishi Yama recognized this fact as soon as he became the unchallenged kingpin of San Fransokyo's criminal underworld. Running bot fights as a cover for illicit activity necessitated near-constant supervision from the man in charge. A lack of commanding presence can be detrimental to any illegal enterprise, particularly if it makes anyone on the payroll feel too secure in their position or gives punks outside the business the impression that they can step on the action without consequences. However, when Yama is unable to attend to affairs in person, he has "personal assistants" who are willing to act in his stead.
The Fujitas earned their name due to the massive amount of devastation they left behind. Two-bit punks attempting to start their own business without contributing a cut? The very foundations of their hideout are torn apart. Are non-payroll police officers getting too close? Their homes get demolished overnight as a warning. Some kid and his older brother botch a business deal? Torch the posh school they go to and leave them both to burn. No surprise the Fujitas are Yama's enforcers: They are an unstoppable tornado serving an immovable mountain.

Ah, The Obligatory Shapeshifting Slime Villain. Globby Had A Pretty Cool Concept. I Wanna Try and Tie Him In with Another Original Villain of Mine. Enjoy :)
Dibs was a small-time crook and thief who "specialized" in purse snatching. To be more specific, he specialized in attempting to snatch purses and getting his buttocks kicked repeatedly. Especially when said purse was Honey Lemon's, as it meant her roommate Gogo Tomago was there to make sure Dibs escaped with only bruises. Dibs' insistence on petty crimes, notwithstanding his poor performance, stems from a lack of belief that he can do better in other areas. He is a person who is defined by the worth that others place on him, rather than his own. Like putty that yearns to be shaped into something wonderful. Given what happened to Dibs next, the comparison is really eerie...
Dibs managed to score two takes during one of Toku'Hoshi's engineered battles between Big Hero 6 and Kaijin: Honey Lemon's Chem Purse and a Programmable Smart Motion Putty Transmitter. He reasoned that they would earn him not only a lot of money, but also a lot of respect in San Fransokyo's criminal underworld. This put both Big Hero 6 and Toku'Hoshi on the lookout for him because his possession of their respective technologies was a threat, particularly for the latter because the transmitter served as evidence of his wrongdoing. Dibs went on to try auctioning off his ill-gotten gains, which failed because he had no idea how either worked. His tampering with the Chem-Purse resulted in the release of a solvent that completely dissolved Dibs. By the time the heroes and villains found Dibs, he was little more than a chemical cocktail puddle.
When Toku'Hoshi reactivated the stolen transmitter, the signal animated the lifeless puddle into a putty-like creature. Dibs had not been dissolved, but rather transmuted into an amorphous state animated by the transmitter. It is here that Dibs finally received validation from someone else. A wish granted, one he would quickly regret. Since then, his sole purpose in life has been to serve as KATA and carry out Toku'Hoshi's plans against Big Hero 6. KATA either follows the script or reverts to a puddle.
