$90? Up for grabs

Selling both pairs, not too sure how much they’re worth, they’re both a bit too thick for my hands.

Thunder 380 vs 380CC. Any opinions?

I've been so happy with my 383A that I wanted to get an updated version - the Thunder 380. But then I realized that there is a trimmed down concealed carry version, so I wondered if any of you have both the T-380 and the 380 CC, and if you have any thoughts on the differences. Likes, dislikes, etc?

Thunder 380 vs 383A

I have a 1980s 383A (a steel frame precursor to the Thunder 380), and I really like this thing. It's accurate, it's easy to aim and shoot, and I like the DA/SA trigger.

I do carry concealed (blue state, don't want to freak out the normies), and I was thinking about picking up a newer Thunder 380.

Checking the Handgun Hero site (a great tool for evaluating and comparing sizes) I see that the 380 is 20 oz.

https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/bersa-thunder-380-vs-bersa-tpr9c

When I weigh the unloaded 383A, it comes in at 24, slightly heavier than the TPR9C. The 380 stated weight is 20. Not a big difference, but still.

I was hoping that somebody out there had some insight as to what the differences are (besides weight) between the 383A and the 380. I'm assuming there have been some upgrades in the past 30 or 40 years.

BP380 feeding problem

Long story short, shells jam half way into the chamber. Thought it was a barrel issue. Disassembled and deep cleaned to make sure. I didn’t inadvertently leave crap in the breach. Reassembled and same problem.

What it appears to be is the extractor isn’t allowing the shell head to glide up and to be seated properly on the breach.headspace on shell is fine. It’s brand new and not even shot. Would appreciate any and all advice about a quick but reliable fix, to this conundrum. Thanks in advance.

Thunder 380 Hammer won’t lock back

I’ve searched everywhere to try to find a fix to this and have found none. Here’s hoping someone can help.

My Bersa Thunder .380 will only fire in double action. The hammer won’t lock back after I rack the slide or take a shot.

I’ve taken it apart and cleaned it. Couldn’t find any broken pieces or anything that would clearly cause this issue.

Anyone know how to fix it?

Has anyone ordered from the Bersa website? Is it legit?

I was browsing the website the other day, looking at the forearms. Out of curiosity I added one to cart and went to checkout and thought to myself this is too good to be true… So I’m asking here, are there gonna be any complications or will what I order get shipped and delivered without issues? For context I live in California and there are CA compliant handguns, but with California’s complicated laws, I’m finding it hard to believe that it will go without any issues.

Thunder 380 Sight Question

So, I have been thinking about getting a Thunder 380 X from my local dealer to use as a new CCW, and was wondering if anyone here knows if sets made for other pistols would fit the Dovetail settings. It's not a deal breaker if none do, I would just prefer fiber optic sights.

TPR 380 SLIDE

Hi All Was curious if anyone has ever come across a TPR 380 slide for sale anywhere online? Recently purchased a Thunder Combat Plus and would love to swap the older slide for the newer design. Any insight would help 👍

BP9CC mag compatibility

I’ve been searching everywhere and it seems no one has asked. Are there any mags that are compatible with this gun? It’s a solid gun from what I’m hearing but being limited to 8 rounds just isn’t doing it for me. I was thinking about getting a 17 round thunder mag for it but I’m not sure if it’ll fit. If anyone has an answer please inform me. Thanks

Trp9c/ trp9

I like how my trp9c shoots, however I'm not a fan of the DA. Has anyone tried or been successful of deactivating the decocker. If so, how. I'd rather carry it in SA with safety one.

Are Bersa parts scarce or something?

I have an old, well used Firestorm I got from my dad a few years ago. The last time I took it out an shot it, it would no longer stay cocked, but still fired double action.

I took it to the local gun store, and the verdict was the trigger, hammer, and other internal bits were basically worn out. Repairs would cost almost as much as a new Thunder, but it was my dad’s gun, so I told them to fix it.

That was two months ago. A month ago I called to check on my gun, and they said they were still waiting for part and would call me when they were done. Still haven’t heard back.

Does it really take this long to get parts in, or do I need to bug them again?

GenXer here: for years, I had an irrational desire for a Bersa Thunder and I couldn't figure it why. Then it struck me.

I used to love Zebra guns back in the day so when I saw a BT .380 in adulthood, apparently I had to have one.

Mini Firestorm 9 grips?

Has anyone found rubber or really ANY other type of grips that come for the Bersa mini firestorm 9mm. Bought it as my 1st pistol and LOVE it but the grips suck. Legitimately the only thing “wrong” with it. Been pretty patient but that’s running out. I have the polymer frame if that matters.

Thanks in advance

Bersa guarantee worked on 10 year old Thunder Plus!

Hello, Everyone - I just wanted to tell about the good experience I had with a defective Bersa Thunder Plus.

I bought this firearm about 10 years ago, and used it seldom over the years. I am going to the range with my teen son lately, and so I got this out to help him get used to the kick from 380 as well as 9mm, in order to control it...

Thanks to people posting here and elsewhere, I contacted American Arsenal and Armory, who gave me a RMA. I asked my LGS if they would be merciful and charge me just one transfer fee to send and receive back, and they agreed.

It turns out that the problem may have been a recognized problem. At one point, these may have had a weak piece that could break, leaving the take down lever inoperable. I was soon sent a replacement Thunder Plus, and am back in action! Thanks, Bersa and American Arsenal!

Cracked Frame

What can I do about this? Series 95 .380. Cracked barrel mount, as seen through ejection port. Truck gun? Paperweight?
