I can’t really remember as I haven’t watched the Uk version in years but I’ve started the US version for the first time and I was reminded when Mitchell and George moved houses and Annie begged them to stay, and yet she ended up at the second house with them even though she was tied to the house she shared with Owen. Was this ever explained?
Crying emoji because I’m a sobbing mess in the pic lmao. He saw me and was like “Aw, come here” and held me so tight, it was so sweet.
Waited in line for hours to meet him! Forgot he does Star Wars stuff and the fans were out in droves.
Was the most cringey bad fanfic episode of the show. Why did they think this was a good idea? They really came off a really well acted episode to have the stories come to a standstill for an episode with an alternate timeline, extra bad dialogue, and bad hair in an attempt to recreate the past.
What do you think happened to him after he confessed to killing Annie?
Prison? Mental institution?
I'd guess the latter, judging from the officer's reaction to him babbling about the supernaturals. And Kemp talks to him later in what looks like some sort if institution, but I don't know what British prisons look like, so it could be either.
Spoilers...they don't even ask about Being Human. I object to this gross oversight.
I love the us version I’ve seen it twice if anyone knows where I can stream it please leave it in the comments, but as the title reads we’re here to discuss Nina 💀 I hate the fact she blames George for becoming a werewolf. Yes he did scratch here but I fell like she pulled a Kate from lost that girl never listened and neither did she 😭 Mitchell and Annie bothhhh told her to stay right there don’t come down there and what did she do….. not listen and now she’s a werewolf. I just hate that almost every time she sees George now she blames him for it 💀
I’ve seen a lot of people saying they prefer the UK version.
I really fell in love with Aidan and at times Josh and Sally. The ending bad me sobbing in my partner’s arms as he sobbed too having only seen the final 3 episodes.
I hated a lot of the decisions people made (esp Sally and Nora) but really cared for them in the end. I was annoyed plenty while watching but never enough to give up on it.
I like campy things like Buffy but to be fair, as an American, I haven’t seen a lot of British tv and don’t know if I’ll like it. Plus, people say it’s not as dark and moody as the US one.
Should I give it a chance? Should I give it some time in between having finished the US version, start fresher on it? Or would it somehow be a better viewing experience watching the other series super soon?
Seriously considering watching it all over again immediately. Does that make me weird and slightly obsessive? 😧 I mean, it's still the spooky season! Plus, I've had the music from the series on repeat these past two weeks when not watching it... I know that the show has so much murder and drama and craziness, but it's one of my comfort shows. Please no psychoanalyzing. 🫣
First time watcher. I’m still in the middle of the episode, but I’m just so flabbergasted I had to vent about the scene I just watched.
Annie just blathered and waved her arms around as the social worker is taking the baby out of the kennel. She knows the social worker can’t hear her… so why is she rambling justifications to her about why the baby is in the kennel?? Just scare/shove her out of the room! No wonder George didn’t trust her with the baby.
Still watching season 3 and why are they forcing this relationship? Looks wise Kat is similar to Suzanna but that's the only thing she really has going for her.
After all these years I still find myself now and then looking for this song, it is this beautiful haunting melody that plays throughout the series, it plays when Suren is killed and in 3*1 around 27:19 when Josh and Nora were digging Sally's body, and several other times, anyone had any luck finding it? Thanks :)
Is that Josh and Nora could take a nap with two kids under the age of three with their kids seemingly awake. No toddler would EVER let you do that.
Which is wild because this is a show definitely targeted towards female viewers just like most of the vampire/paranormal shows at the time. I like the bromance between Josh and Aidan but Sally doesn't have the same dynamic with them because she's always off on the side dealing with her own stuff. While the men's stories are more tied to each other. I'm on S3 E 10 and Aidan's women are all interchangeable and I don't buy any of his relationships. Sally is also flitting from relationship to relationship and more concerned about herself than anyone else. Nora and Josh are painted as the big pairing of the show but I find their dynamic so dull. And Nora is so angsty!
Herrick says that becoming a vampire doesn't exactly change one's personality, it's just something they say to the new recruits to ease them into killing.
But what does that say about both Mitchell and Hal, or any of the vampires for that matter? As humans, they were a bad day and a few drinks away from becoming serial killers?
That's a grimm view of humanity, if you ask me
I feel like this must be considered one of the best episodes in the entire series. This has had awesome plot twists and story beats, from start to finish. Sally remembering that her husband murdered her, and Aidan ripping out the fangs of the vampire priest, Josh finding out that Ray is the werewolf that actually turned him. This is one of those episodes that's just completely compelling front to back. I'm just hoping that this series maintains this high bar through all four seasons!
How on earth did Josh go from being an orderly to a nurse after 18 months? Did I miss something? Been passively rewatching and I'm too lazy to go back.
...I would like our heroes to call animal control on Liam and have him wake up in the pound, neutered, to control his aggression as they do with stray dogs. Animal Control deals with dangerous animals sometimes irl and since there are so many werewolves roaming the area surely they've encountered them before.
Also how has Erin's ghost not yet contacted Sally? She clearly has unresolved issues given what Liam did to her. At the very least she could torment him while he still lives. Cf. my previous point.
Rewatching and when she scares him she whispers something that only the dead know and when George asks what she said Mitchell makes a facial gesture not to, what does she say?
Man did anyone else cry at the end of season 4? I need to know I’m not crazy! 😬😬
I watched some of the UK version during it's original run but it's been so long I remember little about it other than I found it humorous at the time and my mom and I used to like watching it together. I didn't wanna watch the US one initially because imo it felt like a cheap ripoff. Watching now and these first few episodes are long and drawn out feeling. Also Meaghan Rath's acting as Sally is awful. When does the show start picking up steam?
When Alex looks at her body and says "Christ, I was jowly" does she mean she looks fat? Or does it mean something different in scots, perhaps? It's muttered under breath so maybe it's not important but this is an odd word to me. (Making history, s4e7)
I’m in Australia. It’s not on any of the streaming services, I can’t buy it on YouTube or google play, and I can’t find any online streamers like Putlocker that have it. I’ve also read that season 4 was never made into a dvd so that’s not an option either.
Why has season 4 just disappeared into the void?
Pls help
I started rewatching being human on midnight pulp on plex, starting from the end of season one and now a good way though season two. I do not remember a ton from when I first saw it.
When the priest tells Mitchel to stay away from Lucy Jaggat, Mitchel does a double take, presumably she never told him her surname. I am curious about what the significance of her surname was.
I had a theory but I don't think it's correct so I'd like to know what the name meant to Mitchel before it was revealed. Maybe it will be explained but I cannot seem to Google the answer.Anyone know the answer, or is it revealed later on in the series?
It looks like all of the episodes are now back on the BBC iplayer, finally!
