Howdy! I have a question about gender neutral possessive pronouns. So it seems "iel" is the gender neutral pronoun for nonbinary people, a combination of "il" & "elle". I was trying to say someone is "my dear", but is there an option that isn't either "ma cherie" or "mon cher"? Eager to learn about language that's evolving!
Add me on duolingo if you are.
I really would like to know about grammar and daily expressions
Hello, I hope everyone is doing great and I wish you all a merry Christmas! For this occasion, I made a video, on my channel FriendlyFrench, about some important words you should know when it comes to Christmas. I'm still a beginner, but I intend to help as many people as possible around the world. Could you please give me feedback, tell me what you think of the video and give me constructive criticisms? I thank you very much.
I know this may be a silly question, but how are questions commonly asked? I know that est-ce is the way that’s taught, but I’ve also seen inversion used like “vas-tu?”. What’s common in day to day French?
I have to listen to sentences and type them out as part of this hw assignment and I'm having some issues. Some of the words I recognize, but it reads really quickly and I'm having difficulties. A poor transliteration (what it sounds like to me, not what it is in French), is this:
Ce sont trois un très à légume.
Dans sa salon et lan très le tapis.
Le salle à manger à tasse grande po-sa-soon vay tay.
Suzanne un besoin du le un studio nos une résidence universitaire.
Set gross fam rohs set une chanteuse rona cahbla.
So spectacle le tay musam et interressant.
Help please! What are these sentences actually saying?
What are some books for someone with conversation-level French?
Hi there! I started a little project to share one French vocabulary word every hour. It's just a little extra thing that helps remind people to practice their French vocabulary.

Also, if anyone here has any advice or suggestions, please let me know. I would love to collaborate with you all. Hope that you have a nice weekend!
