I'm looking to add mods that are specifically adding things to Galactic Conquest Like First Order vs Resistance Galactic Conquest or Clone Wars Cartoon. I went to Mod DB and YouTube but I don't think the algorithm understands what I'm asking.
I need a mod that adds more rows or space for PM IA characters. Any help is appreciated, thanks! Using BF2022 for conrext.
If I'm coming here, you know it's bad as I rarely ask questions at all. I am an experienced modder absolutely baffled at how I can get modded BF2 up and running on my machine.
The most prominent issue right now is that I'm compeltely unable to launch BF2 through the FrostyManager. I have BF2 installed through Steam. I had no trouble installing mods from Nexus and importing them into FrostyManager. They show as expected. Attemps to launch via FrostyManager, however, just prompts a sign in to the EA app and then does nothing after that. I am not able to launch via the FrostyManager or the FrostyFix app. None of my mods show when launching the game as normal. FrostyFix has done absolutelly nothing for me, as it doesn't even show the game in the drop down menu. I have deleted the config file, ran as admin, checked/updated C++ & .NET, deleted ModData, tried launching in various ways, changed launch settings in FrostyManager settings, watched 10-15 YouTube videos, all to no avail. Any suggestions?
I'm trying to help my little brother mod SWB2 and im having trouble downloading and applying a mod made in 2020 for version 1.0 of the game. I believe the current version of the game to he 2.0. Is there any way to downgrade my brothers game or update the mod version easily or at all? Any help appreciated!

Adds a new era set between Rogue One and a New Hope, new campaign, new units, new heroes, new maps. Best all in one mod out there. Features a lot of The Forced Unleash content.
Best order 66 mod. period. I cheated and made this one 2 mods with improved jedi here since it makes this mod even more fun that it already is. It is surprisingly balanced, giving the clones more units than the jedi to even the game.
This map was a little tricky to find. It's a map that takes place in the streets of Coruscant, very well made.

Battlefront 2 is programmed to run at a lower FPS, this lets you run the game at whatever FPS you want.
I'm looking for a mod that (now stick with me for a minute, it's kind of hard to describe)...
You start and choose a generic Jedi, either: single, dual, or double bladed. That character is assigned to a Venator. Whenever that ship goes into a battle, you can play as that character freely (AI can't play as that character) and the character is also not like a Hero unit, kind of nerfed. Sort of like the Order 66 mod I've seen which I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with.
I also want that character to be able to move independently of the Venator. For example they can move around (the same way the Venator does) and if that character is at a planet that gets attacked, they can participate in that match.
So they can't be a part of a match on the other side of the galaxy.
Maybe when you die as the Jedi, you can't respawn as that character for x-amount of time or at all. And maybe if you lose the match where that character is, they are held prisoner there until you reclaim the planet.
I think it would be interesting too, if when you use the Hero Bonus, you choose a hero, they get placed on a Venator and have the same rules as the original character. However, the hero functions as they normally would.

Lastly, obviously this is targeted at the Republic side. The Separatists are a bit trickier to think of an equivalent right now... I'd have to think more on it. And the for the Rebels, just like a generic blaster hero-like character of some kind. Choose; pistol, dual pistols, assault rifle, sniper rifle or something. And then for the Empire, it would be similar, but maybe a bounty hunter or sort of 'high ranking' Imperial commander.
I can clarify anything if it wasn't clear, but I'll leave it there for now!

Hey everyone,
I'm new to the community and I have very little knowledge of using mods. But I'm looking for a mod that lets you create a custom generic Jedi. Like maybe able to choose a character model from the existing ones, maybe have different head options, choose the animations, lightsaber colour, secondary skill (Force ability), etc... Is there anything like that currently available?
I came across this - SWBF2 Modding - bf2_jedi_creation (google.com) - But it seems really complicated and well above my level. It also doesn't cover all of the aspects, there is a lot of pre-existing knowledge required to do it.

Has anyone been able to successfully mod the PS2 versions of either game? If so could anyone help me out?
After the update to Battlefront 2 that re-introduced multiplayer, I cannot get the Ultimate Pack to work. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it as well as the v1.3 patch. Can anyone help?
Ever wanted to play as Praetorian Guards, Manga Guards, Imperial Royal Guards?, and a bunch more right? I suggest a new class of reinforcement: The guard class. I leave it to the developers to decide its abilities, but I suggest you add a feature, where the Guards Wepean can clash lightsabers, but not quite as good as the guards arent force sensitive, and cannot reflect blasterfire
Ever tried playing as phasma and saw that the Staff is too weak? Well with this new tweak it can become potentially the coolest ability in the entire game: Make her staff like a 10 second lightsaber. We know from Canon that the staff can clash with sabers, and this is the perfect way of making her abbility more fun and generally better.
Can anyone point me to where I can find some of the old Dann Boeing mods from the days of filefront? I've seen the Christmas one around but didn't he have one that was like this psychedelic hellscape and another that was this goofy jungle map that had a bunch of vehicles all around, a flying couch, and other goofy things.
If those two weren't actually Dann Boeing mods does anybody remember who made them?
Edit: Okay so those two maps were made by theITfactor and were called The Pwnfest (Weren't we all so cool then?) and Realm of Chaos. I found them on Nexus Mods. There's a shitload archived there. I apologize if this is completely old news to this community but in case anyone was wondering there you go!
I remember downloading a mod for BF2's PSP port that restored some of the content that was cut, but i cant fiind it, does someone have a DL link?
