.50¢ for Hawkwind ✌️

How has this sat in the bins for 4 days? People judging the Lp by the upper half of the cover perhaps….

Hunting for 7” vinyls

Hii - any advice on where I could find a 7-inch vinyl with The Moments “Sexy Mama” (8 minute version). I see some for the shorter recording, but the extended version is GOLD.

I’m also looking for a 7” with “Dedicate All My Love” by Raw Soul Express!

The Ojays - Message In The Music (1976)

Picked up this vinyl from a record swap for $8 - “Desire Me” has been on repeat!! The high from grabbing an album you’ve never heard of and falling in love with it is unmatched :)

Signing with EMI in the '60s and '70s: A double-edged sword—more money, but risk ending up on their budget MFP label, losing relevance and cool factor.

4th trip! Found some more fun ones. Picked up 260 records for $200. Which should I spin first?

This was my 4th trip back to pick the same local seller. It is very tough to get through everything as there are records everywhere. I may go back once more but this haul wasn't as jam packed with gold as previous hauls there.

My fav of the bunch is probably the bootleg Jimi Hendrix on orange vinyl with the Sexperience misprint.

Which should I spin first?

An antique store pull yesterday, been on the wantlist for three decades, wasn’t pocket change, but was priced at a fraction of its monetary value.

Would anyone like to moderate this subreddit?

For a variety of reasons, one of my New Year resolutions has been to get off social media and cut down on screen time in general.

That, combined with the fact that I'm just not even finding bargain bin treasures anymore to share on here, I'm not all that active on this subreddit. I still think it's a great little subreddit and don't want to abandon it, though.

Would anyone like to be added to the moderator crew? There honestly isn't much to do here. It's a pretty civil subreddit with the occasional bits of spam every once in a while.

UPDATE: Thanks everyone! I sent invites out to two of you. You two, please reach out to anyone else that volunteered to be a mod. I don't know that you need a whole lot of mods, but there are definitely interested folks!

I'll be back at some point in some form. But will likely retire this particular account in the next few days. It's been fun!

Had To Dig Through About 300 For a Few Decent 45's!

.99 cents each. Took some digging to find these. Stomp Gordon is " jump blues" and not very complimentary to the women subjects in his songs, flip side is "Fat Mama Blues"! The Vee Jay is a girl group from 1964. Luke McDaniel seems to be a bit rare, there is only one showing in a collection on Discogs. It's country with a bit of rockabilly twang, sounds quite a bit like Hank Williams. The Four Winds are white doo-wop group and this song has little Surf style to it.
