Hey everyone, I’m new to the Towson/Baltimore area and I'm really looking for some people to jam/write wacky shit with. I'm into a bunch of shit, mostly rock but recently really starting to get into more techno stuff, so I'm really down to work on most anything.
I play bass & sing but I've also been working on a bunch of solo stuff on the computer, so I can program whatever we'd need. Would love to work with drummers and keyboard/piano players but I'll take whatever I can get! Hmu and we could talk something out :D
Hi gang! Have any of you tried busking in or around the city? (Particularly towards the east?) Any tips or good spots that you'd be willing to share? Thank you.
My friend and I are going on a little road trip to the east coast and I'm coming up with a good playlist. I have a bunch of songs for NYC, a couple for Philly, but nothing on Bmore.
My friend is into rap, but I'm open to any genre.
Hello my name is Elliott Jeter I am a pretty new artist on August 4th I will be playing at the Red room improvisers collective which is kind of like an open mic night type of deal if anybody knows of this place can you tell me about it and do you have any advice p
I live here and am a musician and noticed this sub was long dead and unmoderated, so I requested it against my better judgement, and it got auto approved and here we are. I've opened up submissions again and do not intend to restrict things much more than "if it's not relevant to music in Baltimore, take it elsewhere". Please don't spam ads and make me actually be a fucking reddit mod. I can't do it.
If you have suggestions, though, comment away. Ideally I would like to just get this sub back up and running as a resource for local musicians and music fans and then (assuming it gets any amount of traffic) fuck off and leave it in more attentive hands.
I play guitar, looking for people to maybe start a band with. I'm primarily a rock fan, I love grunge, punk & alt rock especially. Ex: RHCP, Muse, Clash, Ramones, Green Day, Pistols, AIC, Soundgarden, U2, Joy Division, etc. Honestly I'm sick of playing alone in my room and want to get out and meet more rock musicians here in Bmore. If you're interested, comment on this post!
Hey all, please let me know if this kind of thing isn't allowed in here since I don't frequent this sub too much, but I'm looking to purchase 2 Japanese House tickets for tonight. I got lazy and didn't get them online only to find out they were sold out. I visited the Facebook page but their comments are disabled so I couldn't post there, so I thought I'd try here.
If anyone is looking to get rid of their tickets feel free to PM me!
