Why do you even think that ? I'd say just the opposite. Ukraine was screwed with Biden and democrats. How many of you were actually happy how the western leaders and democrats handled Ukraine ? I'm pretty sure you all thought of them all as spineless, selfish cowards. And that's what they are. Democrats are appeasers, not friends, and eventually Ukraine would lose the war outright because of lack of support.
At least with Trump you get a coinflip. Either he will be pro russia or anti russia. Things wont stay the same. And if he's pro russia, we all would be fcked anyways if democrats were in power, it would simply take longer. If he's anti russia, at least Ukraine will have a good chance. With Biden they had 0. Now it's 50/50, depending on who Trump sides with .Even with Biden president, the aid has dried up and is decreasing.
I'll remind you that Trump was positive about putin and russia before being elected in 2016, but it all quickly changed. He actually sold Javelins and other weapons to Ukraine while cuck Obama was busy expressing deep concerns and was too afraid to send lethal aid.
So stop with the doomsday vibes and be happy there's A CHANCE something positive might finally come , or not. We'll see soon enough.
The majority of Americans are ignorant, uneducated & self-absorbed. They don’t care about the rest of the world, and they don’t realize that most countries have experienced worse inflation than the U.S. and that we probably have handled it the best of any country. They think the president can control inflation and the economy, even though he/she can only influence it. I wish you well and will be keeping your security from Russia in my thoughts.
In light of what just happened in America, russia's genocidal aggression, and weakness from our western allies, how do you believe we should aim to overcome the problems and remain free and strong; from Vilinus to Narva!
You already know what my views are in pervious posts, and I hope the news is making you reconsider your thoughts.
Giving up Narva or other land for "peace" and pressure we know IS treason and will only strengthen russia, and hence is a non-option.
Fleeing aboard will just cause us to be wiped out because there will be no one to defend us, with rising pro-russian stuff in western countries you won't find friends, and overtime we will slowly disappear, so that is a non-option.
Nothing new on Baltic economic front. Maby except Latvia decided that it was sad to leave Estonia alone in a recession so it decided to join in. Other than that- same as usual!
I'm asking because I'm from Spain and I've always been attracted to the Baltic States, mainly Estonia and Lithuania (and those medieval towers that remind me to Camelot)
I also like the Estonian language (and Finnish too), obviously I've never met anyone here in Spain interested on learning those languages xD, but I speak Spanish (obviously), English, a bit of German and Valencian... So I guess that I can afford to learn an exotic or "minority" language
Unlike Latvia and Lithuania, my country does not have plans to host a NATO brigade here (and we don’t even have troops in Narva, the number one place we need them to deter russia and early defense). Yes I know there’s an “rapid response” brigade but by not having them here we will lose value full time and have huge risks of political interference stopping them from coming here.
I believe the claims why we don’t have a full brigade here is infrastructure and finance. However that’s simply a willpower issue of states and EU not willing to give us more funding for projects or have their troops live in temporary housing while deterring russia.
We need a full NATO brigade here, we need NATO air defense, and some NATO country to put their nuclear weapons (it’s fine if they fully handle it unlike nuke sharing, we just need the strategic deterrence badly).
And I say all of this as experts warn russia will plan to attack a small portion of our territory, and what more of an effective target would there be than Narva?
Translation:
"Over the weekend, reports spread widely that the Estonian real estate company "Kaamos" pays its employees between 10,000 and 30,000 euros for each child born. According to the company’s founder and main owner, Kaido Jelehto, this approach encourages Estonians to think about family expansion.
"Kaamos" also operates in Latvia, so "Delfi Bizness" contacted its management to find out if employees of this company in Latvia are similarly incentivized with such large bonuses.
The "Kaamos" group, established in 2002, is an Estonian-owned company engaged in real estate development, construction, green energy, and investments in startups. The group has built and manages 80,000 square meters of rental space. "Kaamos" operates only in Estonia and Latvia."
Unfortunately, I cannot find the article in English, but that seems quite a different approach to the demographic situation. What do you guys think?
