Note: A bad app refers to apps that are fake, pretending to be from different developer, harmful, are there just to serve annoying ads to you, or steal your info. An app that is just poorly made should not be posted here, they are fine.

OMG this app makes the worst ads. They are so annoying and they all look like they were done in one take. They always use random people who are clearly not actors just on social media. I think they try to make the ads clever but they just make me want to pop my eyes out of my skull. Super cringe and make be irrationally angry.
Hi everyone! 👋
i built an app called WeTube, and I’m excited to share it with you. It’s designed for people who want a seamless, distraction-free entertainment experience with some fun, interactive features.
I built it because I was tired of interruptions—ads during videos or music, and clunky interfaces when trying to multitask.
With WeTube, you can:
The app recently hit 10k downloads on the Play Store, and I’d love for you to try it out and share your feedback!
Here’s the link if you’re curious: WeTube: Video, Music&Drama
I’m open to suggestions or ideas for new features—thanks for checking it out! 🙌
i was using pie and I still saw adds soooooo ummm, and when I was talking about it in a post in a sub reddit they removed it
Years ago I used Mint which I recently found out was a security nightmare at the time. I would like to begin using a new budgeting app and they all link to bank accounts using software such as Plaid. Are systems like this considered safe today? I would be linking credit cards, bank accounts, and investment accounts which makes me pause...

The original one had been removed from the playstore as the developer had abandon the project. But there is still many users think that this fake one is the real one.
I signed up on Impulse yet again because I was promised NO ADS if I paid for PREMIUM IMPULSE. I paid the extra and guess what!?! I still have to watch their stupid ads!! They are blatant liars!! I won’t be tricked again. It’s just too bad that there’s no way I can get my money back because I would!!!!
This is a game that I download, and it changed my home screen wasn't sure why. I checked the reviews, and it had done it to everyone so to anyone who download it you can delete the app in the settings, for android it's called device admin apps in case this helps anyone.
Just been wondering the purpose of suddenly so popular fb ad/app what transforms your pictures to look like a viking... Social media going nuts about it and still many using it🤔
Is it really dangerous and what does it do??
If it is just another scam (and yes, ofc it collects some data) what is the worst thing it can do?
I think its weird that before uploading your photo it does not ask permission to use the gallery or camera. Its just opens it and then you can choose a photo...
Also its not really a app, so you cant check apps permissions in your settings because it doesn't show there Can it steal all your photos from your device? 😲
Some rewiews online are suggesting that not really a dsngerous thing just an amusement... What ya guys think??? 🙄

Well, I was browsing Google Play to look for fake apps to investigate, I googled for VLC and I saw a fake VLC Mobile Remote app. Plus I saw a fake Knuckles game which was called Knuckles Adventure: Sonic.exe. Plus I see a bunch of Mario and Flappy Bird ripoffs. Here's a list of fake apps which I have found:
WARNING!!! I am NOT installing these apps, as you shouldn't. They can be dangerous. I can update this post if I find another fake app or more fake apps. You can say if you found one or multiple, in the comments.
Ever since it first happened to me, I've turned on notification history. Had this one company straight up like and said they never did, but tried to butter me up when I told them I had screen shot proof of them "responding" and finding my comment missing. Was somewhat amusing to see
This app I saw popping up on an advertisement. It looked like you jumped and slashed stick figures. It looked fun and satisfying. So I downloaded it. When I got in for the first time, it loaded for like 10 minutes and when I got in. And, IT WASN'T MOVING. There was a sword with a poorly pixelated shadow, two stick figures, a white floor and a white background. This already looked muxlck different from the ad. And then I was like "ok it may be different but thats ok. Maybe not moving is a small glitch." It wasn't. I entered many times, restarted my phone and my connection. Nothing happened.
This app, called SWORD PLAY, is a fraud. The thing that worries me about this fraud is that can pop up on influential apps, such as Akinator, where I found it. If you see it, DONT GET IT.
