I really regret not adding BABYMETAL to my 'periodically check socials for tour announcements' list. I was excited when I saw that they were playing in Raleigh, but that feeling quickly passed because the only tickets available were through resellers.

Has anyone purchased a ticket for BABYMETAL before the show outside of the venue? Most of the bands I follow have a pretty 'vibrant culture' before doors open, so I've had good luck purchasing reasonably priced tickets before doors open in the past. If I go and hold up a finger do you think my chances are pretty good?

i'm going to the babymetal concert at the ritz in raleigh. this is my first babymetal concert, and first pit concert ever, so I'm kind of nervous about that lol. the venue is kind of small, so I'm not worried about being close to the barrier, but is there anything I should watch out for/ do to make the concert experience better? I have general admission tickets and I'm going with a friend.

Hi! I heard few times that Babymetal is like send from Fox God, but is it their full lore? Does anyone know it? (Forgive my possible mistakes, English isn't my first language)

I imagine most people here have encountered the sentiment "Babymetal is not metal", "...not real metal" or something along those lines. I know I have (I even used to be among them, until actually listening to the music), and I keep seeing them whenever concerts, festival or support on shows are announced. As fans we ofcourse know they're wrong; Babymetal is unequivocally a metal band.

But if you were to convince someone who still maintain the "not metal" stance, how would YOU approach the problem? Which songs, which videos, etc.?

Personally I know I was immediately convinced when listening to In The Name Of, Distortion and Road of Resistance, all OW which I've sneakily convinced others as well. I also think seeing videos of Headbanger (all versions) and the enormous mosh pits on Road of Resistance are a good convinced, but what do you think?

Babymetal-relevant parts as follows...

Last week, they hit another major milestone in their career, by being announced as the opening act for BABYMETAL’s European arena tour. These will be Bambie's biggest shows to date, and will include a gig at London’s O2 Arena in May 2025.

“They’re all arenas – the only other time I’ve played an arena was the Eurovision – and even then, it was TV, so I was performing for the cameras," Bambie tells me. "It's wild. I’m so grateful, and I’m so excited.”

How did it feel when they first got the news?

“I kind of was like ‘Wha..?’” they laugh. “I was just so excited. I took a picture with them at Download – they were playing the same festival over the summer – and I turned to my manager and I said ‘I’d love to play with BABYMETAL.’ Now I am! And Poppy as well, which is awesome.”

Experiencing such major successes so suddenly could be overwhelming for an emerging artist such as Bambie Thug – but the musician keeps their head held high, staying grounded but refusing to hide behind a wall of false modesty.

Speaking about the upcoming arena tour, Bambie doesn’t feel out of place – and rightfully so: they’ve earned their spot.

“I think it’s a great line-up,” they nod. “It’s well-matched. I feel like it’s correct. It just feels great, and I’m super grateful to be opening, and supporting, and also being given yet again another lovely platform. And I think there could be a lot of crossover in fans and communities around these two artists. It’s gonna be really cool, and I get to watch them all perform each night, which is nice!”

I might be going to their performance at the O2. So it'll be my first time seeing them live. Along with my first ever metal concert so first impression is everything. Also can't wait for Bambie Thug and Poppy either!

Heyho, i got a VIP Ticket for the 2025 show in Frankfurt, and not only is it my first Babymetal concert, but also having a vip ticket for any concert at all.
So i wonder, are there important things i should know? How was it ogranized in the past, is there a special waiting line or do i have to go to a different entry?
