This is my third year of my tree producing avocados. Have been getting about 5-10 a year. They all look like this, sort of long and are almost split into two different compartments. They taste great though. I was told it’s a Haas Avocado tree but I’ve never seen one that looks like this before. Wondering if anyone else has seen an avocado like this before.
The top leaves started to curl and the ones on the bottom have some brown spots. Any advice?
How much time it takes to new harvest from the time the last one is finished?
Here is our avocados the oldest are about 4 months old the youngest between 2 and 3 months. Some of them come from our avocado trees in Portugal.
Have no idea what kind of avocado is this? In the northern Bay Area. Former homeowner didn’t tell me and I’m trying to find the best time to pick.
Noticeable characteristics: not very shiny, Texture not smooth, scars easily, pear shaped, color medium to light, Skin seems thin
I planted this (Bacon) avocado tree about 18 years ago, and about 5 years ago it started producing. The standard avocado is quite large, but very few are produced. Mostly we get cukes.
Is this an issue with maturity? Something else?
Thanks in advance!
Started growing this for fun, I don’t have a plan for it yet but I do want it to be as healthy as possible. Wondering if I should prune some of the lower leaves?
Am I doing this right? Added fertilizer and took it out of direct sun (it got burned one day). Watering it better now also.
Should I bring it indoors when temps go below 40F this winter?
:)
