🚀 Open-Sourcing My RDE Project: Join the Journey to Break Speed Barriers! 🚀
After a lot of consideration, I’ve decided to open source my Rotating Detonation Engine (RDE) Project to help make this groundbreaking innovation viable sooner. I'm building a vehicle designed to push the boundaries of what's possible, targeting 1,000 mph and beyond on land. 💨
🔧 Current Specs & Design Concepts:
- Engine Power: Combining hydrogen, nitromethane fuel with electronically controlled injectors (ECIs) to maximize combustion and boost production.
- Cooling: Complete liquid nitrogen cooling system with controlled flow and storage managed via a large rear tank.
- Boost Setup: Two huge turbos, smaller turbos, and superchargers cross-feeding each other for extreme boost levels.
- Tire Materials: Considering a mix of composite airless tires or even spider silk for ultimate durability at high speeds.
- Body & Aerodynamics: Enclosed, low front-end design with a fully aerodynamic structure.
- Downforce: 4,000 ft/lbs of adjustable downforce using massive fans controlled by AI.
- Quantum AI: The entire system, from engine management to fan control, will be powered by quantum computing to handle the high RPM and intricate timing of detonations.
- Weight Distribution: Targeting 3,000 lbs upfront for better balance at high speeds.
