In case any Sydneysiders here aren't aware, Palestine Action Group has been running a perpetual sit in outside Albo’s office in Marrickville. It's pretty impressive how long they've managed to keep a presence there at all hours.
If you're interested in getting involved, they organise shifts on their Facebook group, but if you're not on FB you can also just rock up to support them.
There are a lot of Palestine events suddenly cropping up for April 15th.

So what is going on in your city?
Political fatigue.
Dear Comrades,
I’m just exhausted. Everything is political. I open any social media app, and it’s morons yapping about everything being “woke”, and I have well-meaning white people telling me what is and isn’t good for me (I’m Indigenous on my mother's side).
I even went on a date some time ago, and I was asked, “How do you feel about all this wokeness?” And I didn’t even know how to answer the question because I don’t have a single clue what “wokeness” even is. Anyway, I just told her that I have trans & queer friends who I love dearly and would never say or post anything that would bring them distress. She just nodded, and I got the vibe that this wasn’t the answer she was looking for.
It feels like the worst of Seppo political discourse has infested Australia, and now people merely existing have become political. What is going on? Is it the media that is to be blamed? Or have people always held these views, and social media gives them a platform?
