I really like aggressive noisy bare bones guitar like drive like jehu, at the drive in, and fugazi. Anytime I’ve had a teacher they didn’t really like the same stuff so I was wondering if anyone had recommendations. It’s just tricky learning a lot of this stuff by ear and tabs don’t help much cuz a lot of ‘em suck
anyone know if there's footage of ATDI playing Incetardis live? i know it was a b-side and wasn't performed that much. might just be my favorite track outside of Enfilade.
Tried to look it up online but couldn’t find anything
I’ll upload the extra one minute to yt
Was really feelin’ it this morning. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did :)
I used to tape trade a lot about 20 years ago and recently unearthed a bunch of boxes in a supply closet filled with my old CDs. In my attempt to declutter, I have a couple ATDI live bootleg albums I'd be happy to give away or trade to anyone here on this forum. All I ask for is to pay the shipping costs which I'll waive if anyone wants to trade (I'm only interested in vinyl). I'm in Canada so I don't imagine shipping to cost more than $20 although I will confirm with the post office depending on the location. Happy to ship worldwide. Paypal F&F preferred.
The two shows I have here are:
Feel free to check Setlist.fm for info on the setlist.
Hey y'all, finding myself in EP for a brief unexpected visit-- would love to encounter any historical evidence if you have recommendations...any of their early performance venues still operational?
Hey folks - just curious if there were any leaked relationship demos? I loved hearing Landscape Tantrums and would love to hear anything from the relationship era.
I was recently in Buenos Aires and asked the owner of a punk music store for some local recommendations. I told him I was into ATDI and he immediately put this in my hand.

It’s like ATDI never broke up and were better at Spanish. It absolutely rips. I didn’t know where to post this but hopefully some here digs it as much as I do!
SPARTA will be celebrating 20 years of Wiretap Scars one night only in LA Sunday May 12th!
This is from 2001 released thru grand royal. Isn’t that beastie boys record label? Pretty cool, I don’t know much about this release or this version of it.
Any Jim Stans out here? Gotta check this out. Their voices work well together I think! They gotta do it forreals!

With both Mars Volta & Sparta having very recently released new albums, what are the chances of ever seeing another new album in the future??? What other new music from either group or other side projects might we ever see?? Such as Antemasque or One Day as a Lion???
OMG if I could pick one besides new ATDI I'd love to see it would absolutely be a follow up to the One Day as a Lion EP!!! Unfortunately I'm certain that's most likely highly unlikely....
The title is already pretty self-explainatory, thank you in advance ahaha
My record store sold out and I can't find any retailers online 😥
