a group of cops and and a gang fight throughout the movie. The cops are kind of inept and then at the end there is a crazy explosion of violence. I think it came out before 2000.
Hi everyone, I'm trying to remember a movie I've watched in my cinema college long time ago. I've tried all database I know without answers. Could you help me, pls? It's very bizarre, don't read it if you are under 18.

The movie can be lesser known or obscure independent, but the main plot is about a romance - obsession couple how stay most of the time in a large black room decorated with mouths, eyes, and other body parts as props, hangin on the wall. They have s3x many times and in the end they starting cVtting themselves and then die. It's not the In the Realm of the Senses.
I watched a video on YouTube (link below), which shows an alternative ending to Wong Kar Wai’s 2000 movie, ‘In the Mood for Love’. It shows Mr. Chow accidentally running into Mrs. Chan in the Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia. Mrs. Chan is supposedly there with her husband's acquaintance on a business trip. They have a brief, tense conversation with undertones of slight nostalgia, and Mr. Chow says he still does not have a girlfriend. Before leaving, Mr. Chow says, ‘See you later’ and Mr. Chan replies with a mildly stern ‘See you.’ While she's walking away, Mr. Chow interrupts and asks her if she had tried contacting him before (ref: Mrs. Chan's visit to Shanghai), and she says she has forgotten about it.
I think, like many others, that the original ending is much better. One, this alternative ending scene would have added an element of redemption or closure to their lives, and spoiled the ambiguous nature of the original ending leaving it open to interpretation. It would also have somehow diminished the movie's take on immense, painful longing between two lovers, who cannot be together and are forever separated by life's circumstances. We feel the subtle beauty of their love and longing for each other because it requires no manifestation - walking past each other, silent glances, simply co-existing. Therefore, the original ending which shows that they never met after Mr. Chow left for Shanghai fits in with the theme better.
What are your thoughts on this?
Chinese Title: 老狐狸 | Director: Hsiao Ya-chuan | Starring: Bai Run-yin, Liu Kuan-ting, Akio Chen, Eugenie Liu | Genre(s): Drama, Family
Official Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LClB1cyP5c
Old Fox ended up being one of the big winners at 2023’s Golden Horse Awards, Taiwan’s equivalent of the Oscars. The film garnered four awards—including Best Director for Hsiao Ya-chuan, who is a protege of noted Taiwan New Wave director Hou Hsiao-hsien.
Set in the 1980s, Old Fox centers on a single father and his son, who wish to buy a house of their own. However, economic circumstances and a heartless landlord get in the way of this dream. The movie is a dark and thoughtful exploration of working-class life; its depiction of a father-son relationship is also quite moving. Even if it’s set in the 80s, the film perhaps remains resonant to many audiences today given Taiwan continues to experience challenges around home affordability and low wages.
I'd really appreciate some help recollecting the title of a movie that's set in California. Possibly a 90s/early 2000s movie. The lead character is a female Asian writer, who I believe is travels to the US to avoid some scandal at home. She stays in a hotel and encounters a criminal. He happens to be a fan of her work and doesn't recognize her. She might also have some family in the US who may have "successful" careers in highly coveted professions. I'd try other subreddits like tip of my tongue, but this felt like a sub that'll actually help me find the movie. Thanks in advance.
It seems like it's some kind of rom com but in it there's a young woman with really large lips wearing makeup. The next shot is of a young man who's obviously been kissed by her because there's a huge lipstick mark on his face. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Good morning afternoon or evening! Hope you're doing okay :) I have a question related about a movie and I'm not really sure if this is a Kurosawa film. This one has an scene where there is two people talking in the street and while they talk many people without faces are walking crossing them. If it's not a Kurosawa film do you know probably the name of this film? Thanks a lot and take care!
Stumbled across Moon Man here on Reddit couple of months ago.
Anyone know where I can stream or download it with English subtitles?
Found it on bilibili.tv. But I don't know bilibli, is it safe? Took the plunge and tried it anyway. But it just kept buffering.
The scene was on a boat standoff. Might be Louis Koo that was the actor or some other famous hk actor in the 1990s or early 2000s, gets shot by a bunch of bullets by lots of people while he himself was holding an UZI. Pretty sure I saw this movie as a child but don't remember the name nor could I read chinese at the time. Been in my mind for a while.
