Looking to transition our kiddo to one of these two daycares. Curious if anyone has any firsthand experience as a parent about the two daycares listed? We are currently at Goddard but looking to find a slightly more affordable daycare that provides food. Thanks in advance 🙏
Looking to move back to Arvada/Superior/Broomfield/Boulder but now have a 14 year old daughter. She plays for the high school soccer team here in TN and I want to look for houses in area where she would have the best education (looks like all areas mentioned above have great ratings) but also has a decent chance of playing for the high school in Colorado. Anyone have insight into the area high school soccer teams? It’s very competitive here in TN so trying to understand if it’s the same in CO.
I am new to Arvada and just found out I was pregnant with first child :) Does anyone have any recommendations for a good OB near Arvada? Thanks in advance!
Just purchased a home in Arvada and I've got an electrical panel that is FULL and only 125 amp service. Has anyone recently upgraded their panel and service line recently? Would take any advice or recommendations
Hey everyone! Looking to support a local shop for our Christmas cards this year. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thank you!
Can anyone recommend a holiday light hanging service? Is it too late? Thanks in advance!
Hi neighbors! I’m interested in buying a home and was wondering if you’ve had a good experience with any mortgage loan officers in the area. Thanks!
So my household missed leaf recycling and we have A LOT of leaves. Is there another event coming up? Or where can I take them and what’s it cost.
We brought out pups to Harmony Vet. They are very nice and have great facilities. Both vets I've met have been very nice as well. We brought our dog in for a dental and it was just over $3,000. We were a bit sticker shocked, but he needed the work done. Now a few weeks later one of our other dogs is having issues and the quote is $3,500 - $4,500. This seems very expensive as we've had our dogs treated with similar work for far less back east. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good vet that's less expensive?
I started freelancing this year and need someone who can help with filing taxes + offer financial strategy and advice. Ideally looking for someone with experience with freelancers / contractors / small biz. Being nice would be a bonus. Any recommendations?
If you have leafs bagged and ready to go. Shoot me a dm. I'll come get them one to two bags for free each additional bag for $2.00 whole dollars.
Hi all, Could really use a good barber recommendation. Usually go to Brazilian barbers in south Florida for a skin fade but since moving here I've gone through most of the usual suspects/big chains and I'm just not happy with the pricing and outcome. (Floyds, great clips, a few other higher end places like prospect trail)
I don't mind paying 30-40$ with tip if it's a good spot but some of these better places are charging $55 before tip for a men's haircut...it's a sick joke.
Any recommendations would be highly appreciated.
Hey everyone! My partner and I are moving from our townhouse in downtown Denver to our first house in Arvada! I am really hoping to avoid making the drive to the go to places we have downtown, so I wanted to see if anyone is willing to recommend their go-to place for a couple different places!
1.) Liquor and Wine store!!! 2.) Grocery Store 3.) Quick Sit Down place to eat 4.) Nice Sit Down place to eat 5.) Pet Store
Or any other places you love!
Thank you guys so much :)
This is not a xenophobic post just genuinely curious. Is Arvada a popular destination for Russians or Eastern Europeans? I recently moved to Arvada and have had three interactions with Russians within the past week or so. I lived in Denver for almost 12 years and don’t recall much Russian related interactions outside of the Avalanche and Red Square.
Hi. Curious if any locals have a place they take (or would recommend) taking their dress shoes to be polished? Could be a cobbler or shoe repair place, or similar. Thanks.
Hi everyone!
My wife and I are looking to make the move to Arvada (or surrounding area) in spring/early summer. I have scoured all of the sources here and wanted to get some advice.
I am an Arizona native and my wife is from Chicago Originally, so I was wondering how fierce the winters are.
We also have twin 15 month olds, so good daycares are important. Are there long waitlists?
Are there good climbing gyms around the area? We love climbing and want to be close to one.
Is there a lot of wildlife or do they stay out of neighborhoods?
We want a neighborhood that is super friendly, where everyone knows each other and aren’t standoffish. And also welcoming of same-sex couples that have kids together.
We are so excited to make this leap and just want to make the best decisions on where we go!
Looking for a good dim sum place in Arvada or nearby. Would love a more traditional place with lots of different dumpling options, it comes out on the rolling cart, etc etc. Anyone know a place?
Hi All,
Wondering if anyone has any insights or advice on volunteer organizations that are doing great work in the community but need help.
Thanks
Like the title says. Can't seem to find a salon that is good for men around here. Went to Lyndsey Walker and got one of the worst hair cuts ever. I think the girl was giving her first men's haircut.
Why is the whole road closed down?
We're from COS and looking for a spot in the Arvada area. Know any awesome realtors you'd recommend?
