Artwork of the day - some days.

Introduction & Main Idea

The main idea of /r/ArtworkOfTheDay is to expose the world to amazing art! Each day, we will post one art piece a day. This piece will range from themes, one day it could be a randomly drawn banana and the next an amazing sculpture. If possible, sources will be included in the comments!

Activities

Daily, we will post artwork of different types; one day it may be a pixel art and the next will be a painting. Either way, daily art will be posted. Every Friday we will open a discussion for the art of the past week! Anyone is free to post how they feel about the art, and criticism is welcome! But remember, criticism is very different then dogging an artist out.

We Need Active Contributors!

If you're interested in becoming a contributor, just message the mods! You will be invited! We have an Open-Door Policy!

Sunny winter forest, 14 x 11 inches, watercolor on paper, 2023. Winter is coming to an end, but I want to remember it as in the painting, with piles of snow and warm sun. Do you prefer winter or summer?

Couch Grass, watercolor on paper, 14 x 20 inches, 2022. Here are depicted walks in the village field, a rural place where the paths are surrounded by of plenty fluffy couch grasses. These simple daily moments are so cherished for me, I tried to convey this warm and welcoming sunny day with a sunset.

Winter sunset reflections, 11 x 15 inches, watercolor on paper, 2022. I depicted a local lake with plenty of reeds, swans, ducks, and fish. Every time I'm spending time there observing, painting, and eating stockfish with friends on the beach. Do you feel cold and warm at the same time?
