I redrew the old one recently and really liked the sketch so I turned it into a finished work. The og one is from when I was experimenting with different outfits for my oc. I think during that period I was very uncomfortable with what direction I wanted my style to go in so I was trying a whole bunch of things. Now I’m a little more confident in my style. Im always open to critiques to as I want to improve as much as I can!

What do you think of the subject?

The first picture is my first drawing from deciding to get more serious about art. Both are without a reference, to test whether that "mental library" thing artists talk about all the time is real. For the first time, I believe I can really improve. I know there's a HUGE amount to work on even down to my lines, proportions etc. But I'm really happy to see that some of what I'm practising with a reference is staying in my head. My goal is to get confident enough to create a webtoon.

The first with the wide grin is March 2024 after several months of dedicated painting and drawing vs the quiet girl that I drew in October 2022. They’re both supposed to be attractive and I think they are, but I go back and forth on which I like more from a technique standpoint!

¼ of the way and ½ way. If you think it's become too busy, which I can understand, wait till I post ¾ of the way and done. Lol!
