I have Arc in my Mac as well as in my Android device. Is it possible to sync Arc like other browser such as Chrome or Brave?
If there's an extension that does the same thing on the Zen browser, I would be interested in that too thank you.
When Arc opens for the first time, it will open a tab of my choosing. (Not a new tab)
When I close and open the sidebar either through Cmd+S or the icon, the tab focus scrolls all the way to the top. Maybe I found this because i have close to 93 tabs open, in a mix of pinned(within a folder) and unpinned. When i am working with the unpinned group of tabs, this behavior is a little frustrating as I have to navigate all the way down to access the tabs i was working with. Using Ctrl+tab to cycle between 5 recent tabs helps sometimes but if i want to switch to some related tab thats not recent, i have to scroll down. Just a minor discomfort which i think won't be resolved since no features are getting added now. Got more features in mind but it will have the same treatment of not seeing the light of day in Arc.
some sites like the copilot (mostly microsoft) websites dont open and offer a white blank page, any fix for this?
Instalei o Arc Browser no Win11, só que toda interface dele ta em inglês, como faço para mudar isso??
Am I the only one finding that ARC is slower and less snappier than chrome, especially when making videos full screen
I'm aware Arc is already on Windows, but it's simply not it. I love all the features that Arc has to offer, but unfortunately, they're all on MacOS only. Please do not take this the wrong way. I'm not trying to be rude; I just want to learn and understand. Can someone explain why these features haven't been rolled out to Windows yet or why they're solely on MacOS only? Is something like this really hard to implement? I have no experience in web development so please excuse me if this came across as pushy.
Please introduce Volume level of sites
Is anyone experiencing this weird bug where the videos are not playing and not event appear? First I thought the web was broken but tried with other browsers and seems only happens with Arc
The web is: https://www.figma.com/blog/
I was shocked to learn that a profile is simply an attribute of a space.
The main reason to create a profile is because all the folders in a single space needed their own space. Therefore switching profiles should allow one to have a fresh set of spaces for that profile.
When you switch to your work profile, you do not need adjacent spaces for play or church. When you switch to your work profile all the spaces should be related to work.
Like the title says, I'm just getting a temperature check: are you still using Arc after all of the Dia stuff started coming down? Or are you looking for alternatives?
Arc's ability to do things like Multi-Account Containers (from Firefox) is what has kept me around, but I hate the fact that the browser itself feels like it may be going away.
Anyone having issues with heavy data usage
5g used in one day - 15gb in 3day
It’s my first time using and previously average is less then 1gb per day
I know I know, why not just use chrome? Well, because I like a lot of other things about Arc, like boosts and spaces.
In the last few weeks, a bug started to occur where seconds after closing a tab, it reappears. Most of the time, only one returns, but it has happened that a dozen closed tabs have returned after I searched for something. Has this happened to anyone else?
It seems as though since the release of macOS Sequoia, Arc freezes whenever my MacBook goes to sleep, and every time I wake it up I have to force-quit Arc and restart, losing all my open tabs every time. Defaulting to Safari on all my devices in the absence of a fix
UPDATE: I switched from "Early Bird" to "Stable" build and have had no problems since; I sincerely apologize for offering an ill-informed opinion
I'm trying to export tabs from Arc to really any other browser. Every extension that saves Tabs is broken with Arc, and there doesn't seem to be an obvious file or directory that the internet says has all of the tabs.
The problem I'm having is I got a new company and I wanted to transfer all my tabs over.
The second I open the Arc on the new computer ALL of my tabs instantly vanish (because my Arc is set to 30 day archive, but any install of Arc is set to 12 hours... so all older than 12 hour tabs just instantly vanish).
I've set it and restored Arc again and again from backups, but everytime, after a minute or two, all the tabs dissapear.
I think we can all agree Arc is on it's way out, but is there ANY browser I can use to import or will import TABS not just history? Any way for me to export tabs? It's so frusterating to be stuck the past few hours trying to just get my damn tabs out of Arc.
Does anyone know why Arc needs this permission? I'm curious about what feature it supports. I almost always decline these prompts because I feel like they're used/abused for tracking purposes.
it seems arc doesn't support 3 finger swipe up/down gestures.
So recently, very randomly, my entire Arc history just deleted. On all of my accounts (but I'm still logged in). I'm not sure why, not sure how, can someone help? Has anyone had similar issues?
Since past few days I observed that the Arc Browser Search function is not working as it was a few days back.
Anyone else facing this issue? Any resolution you could come up with?
When i'm working I like to mute my whatsapp tab so it doesnt keep bothering with notifications but I cant mute if its not currently playing any sound, even if it will at sometime. So I have to play a video or audio just for muting the tab
i have two boosts i specifically cannot delete i got from the arc boost gallery. they relate to twitter.com, which is now x.com and i dont know if thats why i cant get rid of them but everytime i open them the boosts dont work, and it wont open the boost editor for me to delete them. is there anyway for me to get rid of these? its just annoying to look at. the only thing i can think is its because the boosts have twitter as the url. if i make my own boost on x it works fine. any help is appreciated.

- This release contains a Chromium update to 131.0.6778.140 that includes security and stability fixes.
Release Notes – Download Arc (421.5 MiB)
I downloaded ARC thinking it was simply a chrome extension but it obviously is much more than that. I've been caught by how pretty it is...but what can I do with it now? Why should I make the effort to swtich? (I use MAC and am a writer and gamer and mostly consume on Youtube if this helps wiith suggestions)
I want to know from you all why you like it so much and what you use it for. Thanks!
Hey guys,
iMac & Macbook are not syncing correctly
On my iMac, the spaces (desktops) share the same favourite apps and logged-in emails. However, on my MacBook, each space has unique favourites and settings.
I’d like my iMac to work the same way as my MacBook, where each space is independent.
Let me know if anyone can help.
I got no response from the support as it's been 4 days already submitting a ticket.
A month ago, Arc Search (iOS) received its latest update. I honestly thought it was heading toward being a desktop-only drop.
I've been using Floorp with the Sidebery plugin and having separate containers attached to different workspaces is a non-negotiable requirement for me. Sadly, I find myself needing to leave Floorp/Firefox due to some compatibility issues with a few websites which simply don't work outside of a Chromium browser.
Does anyone have any suggestions for another browser which can do containers? After trying out Arc and watching some of the videos and seeing the direction the browser is going in Windows (or not going?) I've decided not to switch my hundreds of tabs and multi-container setup to Arc, but I though I'd ask here because many of you like Arc for the same reason.
