Does anybody have the same problem? Sometimes during navigation when i have to login (it happens on different websites) saved credentials don't show up, every time i have to go on Settings->Profile->Passwords and manually search them and copy-paste in the fields.

Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with Arc Browser's window behavior - when the window becomes inactive (not in focus), it automatically brightens and changes contrast, creating an unwanted visual difference from my dark theme setup.

For reference: - When the window is active/focused:

In-focus: maintains my dark theme

When the window becomes inactive:

Out of focus: unwanted brightening occurs

While these threads acknowledge the issue, they don't provide a solution.

This automatic brightness change disrupts my all-dark theme setup and creates an undesirable visual distraction. Has anyone found a way to disable this inactive window brightness adjustment? There has to be a way, even a glass effect is preferential.

Me and my girlfriend use arc browser but I’m wondering if we can have two different accounts on one browser? Like maybe each space uses a different account. This way when I’m at her place I can use my arc account and vise versa?

I recently installed Arc Browser and tried creating an account, but it's stuck. I've restarted my laptop and reinstalled the browser, but the issue persists. How can I fix this? I'm on Windows 11.

Is there a reason Gemini stopped popping up at the top of my Google searches? It worked on the first few days that I got the browser (Nov 6) but I'm realising that I haven't seen it pop up in a while.

I’m having an issue where my custom keyboard shortcuts in the Arc Browser keep getting reset to the defaults after some updates. It doesn’t happen with every update, but it’s occurred a few times now, so I thought I’d ask if anyone else has experienced this or knows a fix.

Any tips to keep my shortcuts from getting wiped with updates? Thanks in advance!

windows app installer opens up every time before launching an app

I recently updated my app, and now I'm experiencing a annoying issue. Every time I close and reopen the app, or even just try to open a PDF file in Arc, the app installer keeps popping up and says it's "checking for updates" and "getting my apps information". This happens every single time, and it's really getting in the way.I'm using the Windows version of the app. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a way to fix it or disable this prompt? Any help would be appreciated

Please disable animation while showing/hiding the sidebar.

At least provide a flag do it.

Thought we could use it till mid 2025 before v3 starts to bypass it. uBlock lite still shows ads on YT. I also had custom filters/scripts for twitch on UB origin, I dont think lite even has those options to set scripts.
What do you guys use now for YT and in general?

Even though Arc got lots of negative after publishing their latest announcement, I keep using and experiencing it because of all the browser benefits given to me a few months ago. It completely changes how I browse the internet (spaces, V-tab, tiny tab, little-arc, etc..)
Finally, Arc now has the syncing tab function through devices like every browser. It makes me believe the TBC is doing what they promised, they keep improving the browser gradually.

Below is what I expect Arc will have:

• Private tab lock on MacOS (iOS does have it, but it still shows the name of the website at the top of the thumbnail)
• Export bookmark, history, and password
• Ability to know which Favourite tabs are running and manually close
• Remove the border interface or at least make it thinner (it annoys me every time I browse on Mac)
• Option to never archive tab
• Reader mode?
• Anything else?

Am I missing something or is Browse for Me not available on Arc for Windows? Love the feature on Android

I’ve had Arc for almost 2 years and all of a sudden it’s not streaming videos from Netflix, or channel 4 etc. channel 4 said that it’s a DRM issue but I selected in settings that it allows to play protected content. Any help would be great

Since a few days, and even after the last update, I am experiencing a massive bug and am surprised no one else is reporting this. (Almost) Every time I use the "Go back" button or swipe to go back to the previous page, it is completely unresponsive. I can't scroll, no hover effects, when I type, I don't see what I am typing. It technically still works. If I click a link, it works, but nothing on the page changes until the new page is loaded. Turning off all extensions doesn't change anything either.

Am I the only one?

I want to know the shortcut or feature (if available) for reader mode, like on operagx where the website turns black background and text is aligned in the centre, etc. Or is there any extensions that work cause i tried a few of them and none of them work.

I'm wondering how to backup my passkeys from Arc as I understand they were saved locally. Is it doable to get them through a Password Manager that is Arc-friendly (via import and then export them to the macOS Keychain)?

Is there another way to migrate Arc passkeys? Thanks!

Just started using this browser a few weeks ago and mainly enjoying it.

I am struggling to get my location being enabled for websites like google maps or well anything else that would be useful. My permissions are fine so I'm not sure if this is my own issue or a wide spread issue.

I have been trying to resolve this for sooooo long and I still cannot find a solution. I have contacted Arc twice but no response after ~2 months.

The Problem
I am currently using 2 MacBook Pros; my personal laptop and my work laptop. I have Arc installed on both laptops using my same email address to log in. When I did the set-up, the browsers were synced, meaning that when I opened a tab on my work laptop, the tab was also open on my personal laptop (and vice versa). I do not know when, but suddenly this sync stopped.

My thoughts
My suspicion is that it has to do with the Arc on my personal laptop because even though I have "Sync Sidebar" enabled, only my work laptop shows me the datetime of the last sync and my iPhone is also synched with my work laptop. However, my personal laptop doesn't show the sync datetime (photo attached)

My attempts
I have tried all sorts of things.

1. I have uninstalled and installed Arc on my personal computer, but no luck.
2. I tried turning sync on and off but again, no luck
3. I even cleared the cache and cookies of the browser just in case, but no luck again.
4. I logged out and logged in again, but the issue persists.

Any guidance would be really appreciated, as I struggle a lot with this issue.

MacOS Version: Sequoia 15.1
ArcBrowser Version: 1.67.2

Sometimes when I open links on mini-arc and then close it, I am not able to click on anything on the particular tab. I can use the tab and type stuff on it, but not able to click on any of the buttons. I can move to a different tab and all the other tabs work fine, but when I return to the original tab, mouse clicks still don't work. Trying to reload does nothing on this tab.

If I try to close the tab using, cmd+w, the entire browser quits. However, if I open the sidebar, right click on the tab and close it, just this tab closes and allows me to reopen the tab again. Once the tab is reopened, everything works as usual. This is quite annoying as sometimes, I do not want to close a tab and doing so, causes me to lose data. Happy to answer follow up questions and I would love to hear if others are having this issue as well.

Why are tabs not synched properly across devices? Something to keep in mind when using arc on different devices?
