Changing up stocking in my tank, he’s been relatively docile as far as dwarf cichlids go
would be great to trade for plants or other snails. sorry for terrible pic but they’re hiding in the back
I read somewhere that great pond snails a native to Alberta and Saskatchewan and good for your pond. They can last the winter. I can seem to find any for sale online and never seem to find them if I'm out camping which isn't much. I have a 300 gal I keep heat and tarped all winter with 20ish comets.
Located in little rock but anything nearby works fine. looking for red root floater or salvinia, but preferably rrf. if wanted, i can pay, or trade with pothos clippings, juvenile mystery snails, air stones, paludarium plants, or other aquarium goods.
Looking to get a decent amount of each, I know I’ll need to have it shipped so that’s not an issue
I posted previously about wanting ivory snails but I have decided to just make a whole new post for them. I am interested in ivory or pink ramshorn snails, and magenta mystery snails. I will pay for shipping as well if needed!
Thank you !
Two year old axolotl free to good home. Axolotls are cold water amphibians so a chiller is required. If you are interested and don’t have one message me and we can work something out. Thanks
2 years old
For sale is my Apistogramma Agassizii (Fire Red). It’s a male and a beautiful fish with great color. Dm me if interested! Local pick up preferred but could ship.
Before I part this out, I hope to sell as a complete Aquascaped "All inclusive" deal. Easy for me, easy for you. I was thinking it might appeal to either the experienced scaper who wants to expand their collection, or a new hobbyist who wants to get into an already researched, fully set up tank quickly to avoid the inevitable (and usually expensive) bumps in the road. And since it is local pick up only I can answer anything after the sale, but essentially after over a year the tank now runs itself: Pre-designed, pre cycled almost never needs cleaning - runs 0 Ammonia and 0 Nitrates forever, just add shrimp or fish. I don't even check the water parameters anymore. I do run CO2, and will be parting with everything except that system as I run 2 tanks with a splitter.
Photos now are from today, unmaintained. I will add a few more of when it is all trimmed back.
System Components:
-UNS 60U (19 gallons) with leveling mat
- UNS 60U Piano White Stand - in perfect condition
- Twinstar S series pro 600s - original box
- ADA 60 ADA LIGHT SCREEN
- Oase Biomaster Thermo 250 with original boxes and extra tubing
- UNS Lily Pipes 13mm inflow and outflow
- ADA Vuppa II "knockoff" Skimmer (actually better than the ADA one in many ways!)
- Amazonia v2 soil with powersand base
- Fluval UV Clarifier
- Kasa Smart Plug HS300 to control it all.
-Many plants i wont list here but you can see in photo = ALL of them are cultured from AFA so no pests unless you consider a Limpet a pest (most dont)
Over $1800 invested.
Vanilla lobster I have had about a year, in fact it is responsible for my deciding to make this a hobby and it was great until I took the goldfish out and then it went on a killing spree.... so it is in my quarantine tank for a new home (it ate a gourami, swordtail, almost got a molly before i got it out of the tank. Someone got a tank of more protective fish or just shrimp want a lobster?
