Is there anywhere nearby where I could take classes to learn practical skills like household repairs, basic plumbing, vehicle maintenance, etc.? I'm a 33 year old man with a very limited base of knowledge on some of these things and it's time I learn more for the sake of my family. YouTube is helpful in a pinch but most of the time I end up calling an expert (or my dad, lol) because I don't always trust myself. Thanks!

Hello, looking for some help with apartment hunting in the area. I've lived in Appleton for 7 years now and am having issues finding reliable places to look for available places. The go-to site seems to be apartments . com, but their listings seem to rarely ever be up to date. I don't want to rent with Lexington (current landlord) so that unfortunately disqualifies a lot of places, and I'm not sure where else to look, as FB marketplace also has a lot of scam posts.

If it helps, I'm looking for a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and have a max budget of $1k/month.

I'm in the vicinity of the old VFW on Richmond quite often and I need someone to explain to me who this is for. Normally I don't care if an old business closes or a new one opens, but I'm absolutely baffled by the planned aspects of this place. I feel like 65% of their proposed business is already ably covered by coffee shops. I think most, but not all, coffee shops serve "mocktails." Hey, does anyone have any recommendations for 1:1 vocal lessons around town that won’t break the bank?

I’m interested in learning how to sing a little better, and learn some tools for control. I “sang” in bands from my mid twenties through my late 30s but the genres of those bands (garagey death rock sort of stuff) allowed a lot of room for bad singing. I’d like to fix that now for material I work on.

I’ve tried multiple times to contact Appleton rock school, but they never answer or call back when I leave a message. Also they seem geared toward a younger client base.
