Based on Apple's backend file, Uruguayans are now able to add their MasterCard and Visa in Apple Wallet !

So, I’ve recently been having an issue with using Apple Pay for subscriptions. I’ve had the same card on file for almost a year now and have a current, updated address. It wasn’t until this past month that it started to decline for everything. I only use Apple Pay for the following: Apple music / storage, and my Crunchyroll subscription (lol).

I’ve called both Chase and Apple and both are saying there’s nothing they can do. I’ve made sure everything looks current and correct with my card and billing address and I’ve even removed the card and added it back to my wallet. Apple is saying that it’s an issue with Chase since they’re the ones declining the transaction, but Chase is saying it’s Apple’s fault due to my card only not working when I’m using it for Apple pay. I feel like I’m fighting with a divorced couple over it!

Has this happened to anyone else? I’m at my wits end and would really like to figure this out. Maybe this has happened to someone else? 🥲

Has anyone been able to fix the issue below? Seen a lot of Reddit posts about it with no resolution. Been back and forth between Apple/bank/network carrier(Mastercard)

And they all either blame the other or say it’s not from our end.

I fell for a scam and sent two payments of $500 from my bank debit card, via Apple Cash, to a scammer.

I know that Apple Cash cannot revert completed payments.

However, the payment is still pending on my debit card from my bank. What will happen if I stop payment on the charge, in my online bank account that my debit card is linked to?

So, in the last few days, many of my passes have disappeared from my iPhone 16 Pro's Wallet app. Anyone else notice the same thing?

Things like Delta SkyMiles, Marriott Bonvoy, Ulta, Starbucks, Panera, Kroger Plus, old tickets, etc., yet a few remain: Cigna, MetLife, Chipotle, and CVS CareMark.

No, "Hide Passes" is not turned on in settings. Although I did try toggling it on and back off to see if that made a difference. Also tried rebooting, hard reset, etc. Yes Wallet is still checked in iCloud settings to "save to iCloud."

iPhone 16 Pro on latest public release (18.1.1). I think it actually may have started happening after I updated to 18.1.1, or at least I don't remember them missing before that...

Anyone remember what that Apple wallet / Google pay compatible stores and restaurants and airlines rewards programs website encyclopedia was?

I returned an iPhone at Apple Store and before processing the refund the employee showed me card details that they had from original transaction, however, the last 4 digits were not matching with the device apple pay card numbers and not with the actual physical card. So, we decided to do a new Apple Pay refund transaction. I used the same card in apple wallet and the transaction appeared successful on the POS device, however I did not receive any notification from the wallet and the amount doesn’t appear in the wallet and not in my bank statement either.

Has someone else also gone through something similar and how long can I expect until the refund is processed with Apple Pay and it starts to appear in either apple wallet or in my bank?

P.S. In other stores such as Uniqlo, when I return an item originally paid for by Apple Pay, the refund amount appears immediately in my bank account.

Any info regarding this would be greatly appreciated as it’s a big sum of money and I’m getting worried.

Edit: I do have received an email from Apple for the transaction which says the amount has been refunded to the card, with numbers ending from the device Apple Pay, but the amount is nowhere received so far.

I have a virtual apple cash card linked to my checking account (not the apple credit card). If a merchant attempts to debit funds from the apple cash card with a $0 balance, will it go into the negative? Will it attempt to debit the funds from my linked checking account? Thank you.

My dad is elderly and is trying to send me money to pay some bills and I tried to do a debit to debit card transfer and a debit to bank transfer and it didn’t work but then I added his card to wallet and at first it just said to verify card….but by then it was too late because now he’s getting a new card in the mail. Just wish there was an easier way to do this and he has trouble using the apps and a lot of his bank info was set up under a different phone number and email he can’t get into….any advice?

Hey guys, I was trying to put my tickets on my Apple wallet (which are mandatory for this stadium) but I keep running into this error as shown. Wondering if anyone else has had it too? I added this to my account a week ago when I forgot my wallet. But the apple pay tap-pay did not work at any store I went to. I just want this money back or to be able to use it. I added an apple cash card but it did not seem to do anything. Is this money stuck only being able to be used for the apple store?

Has anyone had an order added to Wallet, however the data was corrupted? I ordered something and it was automatically added to Order Tracking, however the dataset was incomplete and “pull to refresh” yields an error message.

Hello, this may be a bit confusing but essentially, Panera bread keeps trying to charge my apple wallet. None of the charges match my recent orders so I am a bit confused. They have been trying to charge my Apple Cash specifically, I thought it might have been a problem with my card but I checked and it seems everything is fine.

How did Panera get access to my Apple Cash? Was it through the app?

How do I fix these charges? (note: I have about 80 cents on my Apple Cash so it’s getting declined).

They are all happening at around 9:30 in the morning. I am unsure of what to do. Any advice is appreciated.

My 14yo daughter has a $83.99 transaction in her AppleCash that she did not make. There is no vendor information provided in the transaction history. I usually get transaction notifications when she makes purchases or receives transfers from someone but did not get a notification about this - we only realized it when she noticed her balance was lower than normal. Over the last 2+ weeks, I have filed 2 “Report Abuse” about this from her phone, as well as 1 from my phone (I have access to her account with family settings) but we haven’t heard back from anyone about this. What recourses do we have?

Someone has sent me money on Apple Pay and I’ve tried to transfer the money to my Cashapp. When I tried to transfer it, it showed as Sutton Bank, I searched it up and Sutton Bank is partnered with Cashapp so I assumed it was my Cashapp. I did instant transfer which comes with a fee, and when I accepted it, it never transferred. What is going on?

I went into the Apple Store to purchase a movie that was on sale for $9.99, I had $9 in Apple Cash. I figured that if I moved my Apple Cash card to the top it would take the $9 and then the difference would be taken out of my Apple Card. Instead it took the full $9.99 off of my Apple Card. Can I not do partial/split payments like this? Or was it a matter of not waiting long enough after moving my Apple Cash card to the primary position before making the purchase?

Yesterday I updated the OS for my MacBook Air. A short while later I went into AppleWallet for some now forgotten reason and decided to remove a debit card. The Wallet & Apple Pay screen immediately froze. I can't click anything, I can't close it nor can I turn off the laptop. Can't exit from System Settings. I'm at a loss for what to do

I haven't used it yet, but I'm heading for London soon and wanted to setup a card in my wallet as the default Express Transit Card. It looks like you can actually use Apple Cash (not Apple Card, which I also have) as the default Express Transit Card.

If that is indeed the case, does the Apple Cash card have to have funds already on it or will it draw from a bank account automatically when needed?

I’ve been wondering if I could use the apple cash to buy things in stores, (grocery, food, etc) or if I need to have a debit card from a bank to use it. I don’t have a bank account or any physical debit/credit cards.

So I bought an item for 551$ on my debit card through Apple Pay. I know they took the money that day but when I was looking in my transactions didn't see it and now while I returned the item instead of 551$ going into my account it was taken out. Is this normal the charge says the 15 but was taken out the 22th. I don't understand what's happening has anyone dealt with this?

Someone sent me some money via Apple Cash and I received it, I want to make sure that there is no way they can cancel it or reverse the payment. Is there something that I need to do to officially accept it?

Is the a wallet app similar to Apple Pay in the uk that I can use on iPhone and also Apple Watch. I have search the web and apps are coming up for bitcoin etc.

Over the weekend, I bought a new iPhone 15, but Apple Pay hasn’t worked on it, and online payments have been consistently declined ever since. My previous iPhone XR worked fine for years, but after performing a factory reset and re-adding the card, it stopped working there as well.

My partner’s phone also has the same card added, but we didn’t make any changes there (we didn’t remove the card or do a factory reset on the phone), and it still works perfectly fine. I can also use the bank card itself for purchases, for example, at POS terminals or for online payments if I manually enter the card details. So, if I don’t try to pay with the Apple Pay function, the transaction goes through without any issues.

From the iPhone side: I’ve spoken to support, tried everything, and even took both the old XR and the new iPhone 15 to the service center. Diagnostics were run on both, and no issues were found. Both phones are running the latest software (18.1.1). I had internet/coverage during the purchases, and the phones were restarted multiple times.

From the bank’s side: there’s no limit on the card, and of course, there is money on it. What could be the solution?

I have a visa gift card but when trying to put the information into apple wallet I keep getting the “Card could not be added”. Is there anyway to fix this?

I read today that the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration has announced a new app that allows businesses accept mobile IDs. Several bars and restaurants at local airports (which accept mobile IDs to go through security) are introducing the capability.
