Everything to do with Apple Maps!

Title has the question.
Why would this feature be implemented by region?
I live in the North East of the US, 50 miles from a major city and Maps (macOS 15.1) is telling me this supported in my region.
It's just dropping a pin and tracking a route? Somebody make this make sense please...
There's this bug where custom 3D landmarks do not disappear when zooming out if I add them to one of my guides... I don't know where to report this – inside the app every report has to be linked to a specific place in the map, and this happens with every place.
Longtime missing transit data for the local trams in Dessau and Halberstadt in germany seems to have been added. Those were the last ones I knew of in Germany, that have been missing for a long time.
We have a problem where our road was drastically realigned and while Apple Maps finally caught up, any apps that use its API still show the old route. And then when a driver passes the turn it thinks is there, the reroute is even worse. This causes lots of problems for us, and our whole neighborhood. I’ve reported to Apple Maps but this never gets updated. Any advice?
Apple has removed Real-Time Transit, Transit Fares, and added Custom Route Creation.
As I’ve said multiple times on here before, I really want to love Apple Maps. That said, many things about the app make it very hard to love.
Last night, I decided to use Apple Maps to navigate to the Dulles airport from Tysons Corner, VA to pickup my mom and take her back home near Leesburg. Might I add this is an area I am fairly unfamiliar with. Despite telling maps to avoid tolls, this is the third time it has still taken me through routes that forced me to use ezpass tolls. I also ended up taking two wrong lanes due to construction that maps failed to instruct me on which lane to take before it was too late to merge. This doesn’t happen on Google maps, where the map zooms into the road and shows a very specific arrow showing which lane to get into before the road forks. Ultimately I ended up spending an extra 30 minutes on my drive going in a giant circle thanks to Apple Maps and ended up switching back to Google maps to make sure I didn’t miss anymore turns/forks in the road.
Super disappointed, because I really like the smooth animations and UI of Apple Maps, but it’s just still not good enough to rely on solely.
Edit: I wanted to add that this was through Apple Maps using CarPlay.
Apple has once again changed the dates for the image collection by backpack. It is now from October 28 to November 3, 2024, in Zurich.

As always, please let me know if I missed any.
My offline maps file size totals 17.25gb which is under the 20gb thresh hold for automatic updates to supposedly work. However, it always prompts me to manually start the offline updates and never auto updates itself as it’s supposed to. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug? User error?
I am going to Japan in a couple of weeks and I was looking around at some of the places I would be visiting in Apple Maps. I was doing this in satellite view since it has this cool 3d view of certain places. However, I noticed that Kyoto does not have this 3d view, even though Tokyo, Osaka and Kanazawa do. I was wondering if there was any reason for this?
Hi all! Just really curious, how does the Reports system work on Apple Maps? Is it managed by real human staff or by artificial intelligence? Because I heard Google Maps makes use of AI to examine Map Edits for validity and implement updates fairly quickly, plus given the scale of the whole world. However for Apple Maps, it seems to take much longer to get a response after sending a Report. Why is that so?
I must be missing something but is it not possible to create a driving Route and store it for future use? I see the option to save a Route but only for a walk or nature hike. Any suggestions on how that can be done? I can’t possibly be the only one that wants to plan a driving route and save it for use at some point in the future.
I switched to a Mac Book relatively recently so I don't know how common this is. Essentially, when I try to plan a trip for later on Apple Maps, when I input the hour I want to depart/arrive at, I get (hour-1). Like if I type in 11:00 it shows up as 10:00, so I need to type in hour+1 to get the information that I actually want.
This is so bizarre and I have tried to find information but honestly I can't even figure out how to search for it. Typing in "24" does not work, so I hope I never want to plan a trip for 23:00 I guess.
