Hi everyone, I’m Frank, creator of Cooky. The inspiration for my app is to help my partner in the kitchen while she focuses on her career.
I never really considered myself a cook, but when my partner started working long hours, I knew I had to step up in the kitchen, and let’s be honest, cooking at home can be a real challenge!
That’s why I created Cooky - a meal planning app to help me (and other home cooks) stay organized, find inspiration and actually enjoy the cooking process.
One of my favourite features is the hands-free cook mode – it's like having a personal chef guiding you through each step.

Very proud of this one!
Looking for some warm appetizer ideas for the New Year. Since our celebrations will be a little different this year, I will be changing up the New Year’s meal. We usually have cold appetizers, but this year I’ll be making deep fried pickle chips as well as two types of dips. Looking for some suggestions for warm appetizers please!
Appetizers before dinner
Many years ago I remember making an appetizer that was a round of dough with twisted "petals" around the edges and some kind of filling baked into the center - maybe cheese or a spinach dip. Does this ring a bell for anyone?
Looking for recommendations for low sodium appetizers or dips. We have plenty of options for cold/raw items - looking for warm options. Any go-to recipes you've got to share? Thanks!
