what's the best thing bout this anime? I just can't forget this anime.
And is it the novel version of the Another anime? Ive watches it several times before, and reading this book, it just feels oddly familiar. Is this the book the anime is based off of? If so, that's pretty cool that I just so happened to come across it!
Within the series itself, describe an alternate what if within the story you'd wish to see as well as how it could go. Whether if its for a certain character, characters or an event or 2. The possibilities are endless
i guess asking that here of all places is a little pointless lol but still. i havent watched the show, but i have heard that while it is a classic, its not particularly good. so is the novel any better?
Got a vinyl printer lol, Anybody want some?
I’m still a bit confused on why there was a giant massacre at the end. I’m also confused about the old couple as well, it mentioned they were the one dudes grandparents, but still. I also saw that there’s a light novel? How different is that to the show. I don’t have enough time to read. Is the ending different? Thank you in advance
So I've finished ep 11 and that was such a blood mess, and I'm kind of scared to continue. So should i watch the final episode. is it worth with all the deaths and blood?
Now I have only seen the anime, so I'm more than accepting other versions of the story are different.
Despite what the teacher says. This curse must be on some level aware, and capable of acting on it's awareness.
Throught the anime we watch as every safety net of these children are either dismantled or made to seem usless.
Attempts to uncover secrets seem to lead to people being killed just as they are about to reveal something.
And let's not even forget what happend when the students found out about the "Send the Dead back to Death"
I'm not sure why the curse was this aggressive compared to even some of what we know of other surviving classes. Maybe the next class will have it easy. But for this class the curse is very much doing all it can to protect itself and kill the maximum number of people.
Can't Mei work at the school and identify the extra at the beginning of every year so they can get rid of it early and stop the calamity before it happens?
why would anyone stay there when theyre aware of this curse
Does anyone know why Izumi had to die? Like Im aware of the fact her brother was in class 3 as well and he died, but did that play a factor into her death as well? Or was it just the creator wanting to kill her off?
You know. I was expecting something dark but not that dark you know?
Izumi dying though threw me a curveball because she was subtly flirting with Koichi, or at least trying to get closer to him. I know people thought the romance was Mei, which sure it couldve also been it…but jesus Izumi’s death was one that actually almost made me choke up on because of the fact that, I didn’t expect it
Does anyone know why the name of the previous middle school Koichi attended is redacted? I can't remember if it's mentioned in the anime but I'm currently reading the light novel and it says "K*** Middle School"
I am not that much into reading so I never gave them a try but they seem intresting, are they worth it? If yes do I need to read the first one to understand the other two or is the anime enough?
Hello
(( IN CASE YOU DIDNT SEE THE TAG, SPOILERS!!))
Hi, first post here, I’ve never read or watched any horror anime before. I just finished Ep 3. Idk if you can curse, but HOLYY F*CK!!! WHATTTTTT?!!?! THIS IS CRAZY?? and I just KNOW it’ll only get crazier??! the umbrella?? The noise? I thought it would poke out her eye or something?! But no? Oh my god she just ?? She just dead asl ?? And her mama too?? Like what?!! And then it just cuts to the next episode?? I’m so serious immediately paused and whipped out Reddit because what?? The??? Freak frack????? That was genuinely so shocking? And Misaki was telling him the story again but it was different than the first episode but it sounded like Misaki speaking there too? Is that just for plot or like? I’m so shook and confused right now ? Like word? Bro went there? And the doll store?? I have questions and please answer with simple yes/no/you’ll find out/not important?
Again please just answer with simple, short things I want an idea of what’s going on, not to know any spoilers!
EDIT: I’ve finished the show and am wildly unhappy with this. Why wouldn’t she say sum from that start? Misaki is a dummy dumb dumb and the second she heard that tape she should’ve hunted yk who down. What the freak.
I can't read 2001 (the sequel novel) as it's not available in my country afaik. But I read the extra who comes back from the dead in this one is Izumi, who is the new protagonist's cousin. I that read the novel goes more in detail about the memory manipulation, but how so?
Basically what I never understood is even if everyone forgets about the extra's death, if they remember their previous life starting from their birth (including whether they were born before or after X other person for example) they should notice their age doesn't match up.
Besides how do they explain having no memories of the extra for the few years between their death and them coming back? Does everyone get fake memories?
I'm curious to know whether the sequel answers this, I don't mind spoilers btw.
i saw some posts and my friends saying that i should watch another again just like death note. is it necessary? like i can pay attention to reiko more.
(Yeah, yeah. I know it's sounds dumb, but still)
Just imagine,YCPD arrived Sakitani Kinenkan and after the firemen's work they began their investigations. What do you think the report was?
I finished Another a few years ago and tonight I decided to rewatch it and realized how much of it that I had forgotten, making it almost like a show I haven't seen. Which is great, because the anime makes you not want to skip a single scene and keeps you wanting more. Anyways, I'm on episode 7 now, 10 minutes into it. The only thing that's not explained until now is the reason why the calamity stopped 15 years ago. It was mentioned that the class went to a trip (a shrine), but I'm not certain what exactly made the calamity stop. If it's a crucial spoiler about the end of the story, please put a spoiler warning.
