This a boutique subreddit dedicated to the anomalous. This includes everything from Bigfoot, UFOs, Conspiracy Theories, Fringe science, Lost Civilizations, Forteana, as well as mainstream scientific discoveries that are unusual. This is not a comprehensive list. Anything anomalous is fair game to post. However, we would like this sub to be a bit more in-depth and thoughtful. To that end we encourage interesting articles.

Rules

1. ALL link posts must be accompanied by a Submission Statement (comment on your own post). All link posts must have a submission statement that describes the link and the reason it is anomalous. Posts that do not have a submission statement will automatically be removed.

2. No UFO videos that are dots in the sky. UFO video posts that are just dots in the sky are not allowed. There is one exception. If you shot it yourself and can give context to the video in a submission statement, describing how the OP experienced the event, an exception will be made.

3. No Fiction. While we love good strange fiction and some of the posts here may be accused of being "fictional", this is not a sub for user-created fiction. Such posts will be deleted.
