I don't know if this is going to work at all but i met this lovely and very sweet lady at barricade in dublin, we bonded over stv (of course) and talking heads and she told me about all the cool gigs she's been to. She was blonde and was there with her husband. I don't know if she'll be on reddit but meeting her made my night even better and i never got her name or got to say goodbye properly, so on the off chance that she's on here i'd love to just say hi !!
🤌🤌🤌
We should appreciate this band more
Anyone think this song kicks ass??
Seen Annie in Milan last night. Amazing gig in all ways, i really enjoyed it, more than I would have thought
But the big surprise was... The record I like the least. Daddy's Home never really clicked with me, I always thought the songwriting was solid but something about it just was... Kind of boring? Or too homogenous? Idk
Live it was amazing! Pay Your Way rocked so much! Genuinely one of the best harder songs of the gig! Candy and Somebody Like Me were superb. ESPECIALLY THE LATTER. Everyone always expects the encore to be a high energy moment, but Annie instead delivered a superb emotional moment with only voice+keys. Looked like she was about to start crying in the end, but instead had the biggest smile. So much emotion. I know this kind of thing are rehearsed to at least a certain degree, but it really felt genuine
All of these three songs were songs I didn't care for when the album came out, but the live show just flipped my thoughts around. Anyone feels similarly?
Just realizing that Annie looks like so much like early Madonna
Pretty amazing use of the song! Cristin Milioti is killing it!
How do you rank her cover of this song?
Anyone here going to the Milan concert?! Came all the way from Puerto Rico to spend a couple of days in Italy and then hit the concert at Milan
This might actually not be possible, but I'm hoping someone who has an actual ticket could please send me a nice image of it that i could print out... I have all of my previous concert tickets on display but because Ticketmaster doesn't even give the option to print them any more I don't even have a generic printout to display, and I somehow forgot to try and find or get one at or after the show... Thanks in advance!
hi does anyone have the full setlist for the dublin show?
I went to the gig in dublin last saturday and i had the time of my life but i was completely entranced by the instrument annie used! the best way i can descibe it is it looked like a little juice box with dials on the side and she sort of sang or blew into it? cant find any information about it online or any photos so any information would be great!
