https://discord.gg/p2yrtyPd This is an updated post from older post of mine in regards to a St Vincent Discord server, small community at the moment but still pretty active and gaining new members. Anyone looking for a server to chat and meet other fans of Annie Clark projects welcome to join. I know of a few other st vincent discord servers but this one seems to be the most active currently. Look forward to meeting more fans ! https://discord.gg/p2yrtyPd
You’ll probably hear a few of my sniffles but wow. Really was fucking beautiful, take me back to Thursday night 😭😭😭
(Btw I’ve just spent the day making a hectic discord server so we now all have another place we can mingle and geek out about ST Vincent, feel free to join along! https://discord.gg/HmWJNEx3 )
Goldie Velveteen St Vincent Guitar is my fav one. Started practicing this song myself on my own velveteen now. Hope to see her sooner again rather than later.

Context: Annie was starting to sing Candy Darling but unfortunately the stage behind ours had other plans. Before this she intro'd the song as, "This is for the ones who are feeling alone."
After laughing it off we all took it in stride and she decided to sing New York instead.
I was initially bummed because Candy Darling is one of my favorite songs from Daddy's Home, but after New York she sang another favorite I never thought I'd hear her sing live: Krokodil.
Sorry for the potato quality but I just found her reaction too graceful and amusing not to upload!
Annie was yelling at the crowd to stand up and then sang to me and would love to relive this moment if anyone got it 🥺
i also might have gotten a concussion and covid from thiss photo
Ok I get here exists but… admittedly I have been kinda baffled at how small the community is, as far as I can see there’s two English speaking FB groups, can’t find any discord servers (I might start one if there’s interest and one doesn’t exist?) and R/stvincent has been dead for about two months… am I missing something???
Like at least from the shows in Melbourne this week I can see that her demographic is super varied (as much as we joked waiting early in the cue that her fans are either lesbians or from Adelaide at the Forum there is a wide range of people outside of that too), but dam it’s just so odd there’s not really a large internet presence of fans.
Recorded a part of the second half of the song. I’m a pianist myself and learned this track after having found a really good piano cover of it on YouTube. This was just before she started performing it intimately with a keyboardist at live shows and it kinda blew my mind when she started to perform this variation at shows.
I have Birth in Reverse recorded as well. Was enjoying myself for the rest of the show.
I cannot put into words how beautiful this was. Thank you so much Annie and Rachel for this once in a lifetime experience, I will never forget it. I hope you got to see me sharing my art which you have inspired so so much xx.
So so excited and curious about what it may be like, in terms of how it may differ from her other shows, and anyone who has experience with etiquette at these type of performances.
Insanely great show every member of the band absolutely killed it and Annie was magnetic. I was up in the lounge and there was a lady behind me sleeping for most the show🤣🤣🤣
Hey everyone! Seeing Annie at the Palais in St Kilda, Melbourne tonight and was wondering when y’all would think she comes on ?
Doors are at 7, then I assume the opener is at 8 and then Annie at 9 but not 100% sure about this assumption.
Anyone got a rough estimate of what time she normally comes on?
As a qualified idiot, for the last three months I honestly thought the lyrics were "You're a natural baby" rather than "You're a natural, baby".
The guitar work at the end is sublime. It's like someone locked Doolittle era Joey Santiago and peak Jane's Addiction Dave Navarro in a room and told them to come up with something they both agree upon.
This is definitely her best record. I love it all.
The Spanish version is beautiful (best sounding ABS Spanish track). Instrumenttally, it's her most sonically impressive track. Thoughts?
