What are some file transfer apps that i can use to transfer documents between them without the need to be on the same wifi network?
Hey everyone, I’ve been working on LocalPosters, an app to help people find and share local events effortlessly. Whether you’re looking for music gigs, community meetups, or promotional events, this app helps discover what’s happening nearby.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! If you’re interested, check it out:
📱 Android: Play Store
Would really appreciate feedback on features or suggestions for improvement! Happy to answer any questions!
As the caption says, Im looking forward for recommendations about a radio app which
Alternatively, your favorite radio app is also appreciated as suggestion.
I have a Samsung s23 FE. Does anybody know of an android messaging app that has the following features:
Edit after sent
Emoji reactions to received texts
Delay sending
Thank you.
The clock app timely, which sadly does no longer work, had a very simple timer function.
It had one timer that basically was a circle that represented 60 minutes, dragging it to a quarter would give you a 15 minute countdown, dragging it two full circles would give you two hours, you probably used similar UIs.
And that's all I want, I don't want multiple timers, I don't want intervals, I don't want to create a new timer every time I use it.
Just a single timer I set to a time with a gesture. And then it just counts down to zero without saving the time interval... and that's it.
This might sound simple but I cannot for the life of me find an app that covers these two frustratingly simple requirements. I looked in the playstore and on F-droid.
We’ve developed a productivity-reminder app, and initial testing is currently underway. However, we’re still figuring out the scaling aspect and could really use some guidance.
If anyone has experience with scaling and can share some basic plans or insights, we’d love to hear from you!
Hello! I'll be really grateful if you can help me with my problem.
I have an interest in a foreign online shop that has both APP and browser version (important note: it's more APP than browser, you can't do much in browser version).
The problem is: I need any app that can easily extract existing link to a page I am currently at (a page with item/listing). YES, the app HAS it's default "share link" button, but it won't let me use it - I have an unregistered account and can't register it, because it requires strict local numbers. :')
I don't believe there is no solution, so please - help! Thank you!
I'm sure everyone's seen them.. an Instagram or TikTok motivational video and they have subtitled text that flows across the screen as they talk.. Trying to find out want app they are using.. Mightt be fun to use..
Hi, i'm looking for a free journaling app for traveling. Where you can add photo's, and also make different journals for different trips. It's also fine if I have to pay once (life time), but just not a subscription.
I can't really find a good one, the ones that I found are very limited in what you can do if you don't subscribe.
I have a samsung device (A34 5G), and apparently the battery monitor feature on system settings only shows usage from user apps. I wanted to see the system usage so I can know what keeps eating my battery when the device is idle, but I couldn't find this option anywhere.
I've wasted hours over the last month trying to find an Android app that's equivalent to the Windows Task Manager feature. I mean, how hard can it possibly be to create a list of apps that are currently running on an Android device, with a button next to each labeled "Quit" or "Stop"? I've tried a number of different "toolkit" apps, none of which have this basic function. I want to be able to leave some of my apps puttering along quietly in the background, but there are 10 or 20 apps I want to quit as soon as I've finished with them, for a variety of reasons. Yes, I can go through the clumsy hassle of going into the app manager, remembering which app(s) I want to quit, then either scrolling through the list, tapping each one, then tapping "force quit"... but, what a needlessly laborious task! Give the number of brilliant programmers out there, I can't believe not one of them has thought it a good idea to write a simple app that will do such a basic task.
Basically looking for an app similar to Drafts on iOS (a simple text editor for notes) where you can create custom scripts (e.g. JavaScript) to create custom actions (e.g. API calls, steps).
Multi-step actions support is a bonus.
I dont like to read on my phone's small screen. I often use Text to speech to read news and long email. But the app Im currently using has too many restrictions and ads. Recommend me a good text to speech app. Preferably one with other language options. Thanks.
Dear Vimu Developers,
I’ve noticed that when pausing a streaming link in Vimu (or VLC), the buffer does not continue to fill up to the set limit. For example, even after setting the buffer size to 1000MB, the network does not remain active to preload more content.
In contrast, platforms like YouTube, Kodi, and Stremio allow buffering to continue when paused, making it easier to fast-forward smoothly, especially for high-bitrate videos. This progressive buffering greatly enhances the streaming experience by reducing playback interruptions.
Could you consider implementing a similar progressive buffering feature in Vimu, so that when a stream is paused, the player continues buffering up to the configured limit? This would improve playback for larger videos and unstable network conditions.
I've been using Brave for a while and haven't touched Chrome in months. Recently, I opened Chrome again, and to my surprise, it felt noticeably faster, more responsive, and just overall snappier compared to Brave.
I always thought Brave was just as fast (if not faster), but now I’m wondering if something changed. Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just a placebo effect? Curious to hear your thoughts!
Nothing like browsers or other utilitarian useful stuff. Stuff that is oddly specific and neat.

Overmorrow is a free, open-source, ad-free, material design weather app that i have been working on for the last one and a half year. I posted about it a year ago, and I got lots of positive feedback, and i have added a lot of new features, that i wanted to share:
i'm only 15, so it still won't probably be perfect, but i think these are pretty big improvements from last years version, so i hope you like it:

I'm just curious on people's thoughts on the browser. I've been hearing people say it's not safe to use or isn't very secure. I personally love it and it's probably my favorite or second favorite browser to use at the moment

Basically I've had the occasional file corruption when transferring files around between devices over the years and for devices other than Android and iOS it's pretty easy to just make the parity files and thus fix corruption. But what app or alternative is there that I can use for Android?
See Wikipedia page for more information about what this is https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parchive
