Anyone know how to use these mounted archers effectively? I'm okay with them but I need to micromanage them a lot plus they seem to be pretty brittle when they're shot at.

Anyone have more than 3 generations that have all been cremated? Does everyone just keep passing down the ashes? After 2 generations no one knew you personally, are people keeping ashes? If not what becomes of them?

First time playing an RTS and would love to have a few good battles with/against someone

I've got ancestors legacy on Xbox but I used to play it on pc is there any way to switch from controller to keyboard and mouse controls? I've looking through control settings and I can't see anything.

Is ancestors legacy broken? Pressing continue in the menu just pops up "check network subsystem login" but if I go to single player and press load,I can load a save like that,playing multiplayer is literally dead and broken? 0 servers pop up and I can't host anything, I'm assuming this game is abandoned by the devs?(Not shocked)(Iv been playing for years but stopped for awhile and recently started playing again)

My ancestors on my dads side, which is where all of my looks come from, were Scandinavian, and some german. I have brown hair and a red beard, with blue eyes, along with a pretty big head. Is it likely my ancestors were vikings and that I have the DNA? just a hopeful thought. lol.

Is this game persistant or is it like age of empires? I mean are we starting a new game each time we enter the game ?

I bought this game for £2.99 and still feel like I’ve been mugged off. God knows how they possibly justified the original price of £30. Mind blowing. If I had bought the game for its original price I’d have launched my PlayStation out the window.

Does anyone even play this game? My friend and I find it almost impossible to find another person on the ps servers. There are so many silly little things that could be improved which would make this game good.

Are the Xbox one servers for Ancestors down? I’ve been trying to play with my friends since yesterday they bought the game on sale and they can’t join online servers. They say everytime they click multiplayer they get a network connection error.

Hey guys! Just started playing this game, and it's super fun! I have some skirmish issues though. I go grab the first two villages closest to my base first, but after I start generating that income should I invest in village defense, or units? What is the best units to invest in early? Thanks!

i know this game is dead and basically died instantly. but i have very fond memories of playing it during the open beta back in 2017 or whenever that was. is there a way to play chaotic matches again somewhere? like some discord group or something?

I absolutely LOVE rts games but on playstation I feel intimidated and worry about feeling let down with a controller throughout the whole experience. Does anyone know if I can plug in a mouse and keyboard into the PS4 and if it would still work with the game?

Trying to figure out if I have to matchup with people online or if an Xbox party can play together locally.

I could not find any answer for this.. Burning houses count to this trophy? We can see running peasants on fire if we attack houses etc.

Man, they even tried to play this game? On second map I couldnt save my people because guards were invisible?? On four map, I meet with the biggest enemy, shooting catapults without the crew. It was destroying my ships. Maybe this was haunted by ghosts? Thanks lord I manage to save 8 ships. I needed to reload so many times. Im scared how look the other parts of the game. Is this even more glitched?

Is just saw a news update on steam about the game. Then I wondered if there is still a active player base for multiplayer games?
