Hi Subbies,
This year my registration (expired in August but already paid for) requires a smog check. I had one done on 7/19 and the technician told me to mail in the certificate. I did so on 7/20 but I checked my status this morning and it still says it's pending. I don't want to mail a second copy just to find out two months later that it was lost again.
I guess I need to go in person but I can't make an appointment on their website any more. Has anyone had luck with a local DMV Business Partner office? The ones that are close to me (Orange vicinity)
show as closed 7 days a week, or their phones aren't connected.
Just like the title says, does Anaheim have a limit as to how many times residents can host a garage/yard sale? I know other cities are limited but what about Anaheim? Anyone know?
Does anyone know why The Trough Sandwich Kitchen off Katella is permanently shut down? Thank you!
I’m very interested in joining a Dungeons & Dragons group. I am a complete beginner but am eager to dive into the game and learn as much as I can. If anyone has any openings for a new member or are considering starting a new campaign, I would be thrilled to be a part of it !
Thank you ! Please DM me or respond !
Hi fellas,
Canadian here spending some time in Cali in October. I am trying to plan my itinerary for one of our “free” day before we leave from LAX the next day.
Our trip is more of a leisure/casual/food/sightseeing one this time. I’m thinking of stopping by Anaheim from our drive up from San Diego, stay a night, and then explore.
I will have a car so driving is no issue. We aren’t doing Disneyland…HOWEVER, I’ve heard Downtown Disney is fun and free. I think it will be cool to buy some souvenirs and take a couple of pics. I also read the Packing District will be a great place for food so we’ll be eager to stop by. Also, what about spending some time shopping/eating at South Coast Plaza? This may be all we can do before heading back up to LA at night.
I am absolutely open to any advice or better recommendations!!
I was visiting my GF in Anaheim and stopped to get gas at the Arco station at 100 S Beach Blvd. I drove a Nissan hatchback and it typically runs me about $35-45 to fill up. The pump said $36 and change. Didn’t get a receipt (of course). Wake up today to a $100 even charge on my card. The station doesn’t have a working phone number and it’s a pretty far drive so extra inconvenient until the next time I head down which is in a few days.
Just curious if this has happened to anyone in this sub, and if so, what did you do?
Hello all, my friend and I recently applied to live at Zia in Anaheim. They had us under the impression that their complex was ready to move in, then after the application was complete they told us that they were extending the move in date two months. We asked to cancel our application and receive our deposit back and they told us that they are not refunding our deposit because we were past the 72 hour timeframe to be eligible. So, I am here to say: DO NOT APPLY TO MOVE HERE, THEY ARE GOING TO SCAM YOU. I am sorry to anyone else who has experienced this idiocy.
I have a Public Storage unit thats 5x10 and im paying $163. it used to be $107 a year ago but clearly it went up by a bit and im now currently looking for similar sizes and price. if its a little bit bigger and around the same price more or less thats also fine, please help !
Hello, I'll be staying a couple days in Anaheim next month and I'm looking for a PO box service available to foreigners that could let me receive some packages from inside the US and get them in person in Anaheim during my stay?
Shipping the packages only when I'm in town wouldn't be an option as I don't believe they would arrive in time. I believe most PO boxes services require you to be a US citizen. Not my case as I'm only visiting.
I saw some services like this but most of them receive the package in Oregon and I would have to pay shipping to CA.
The wife and I will be staying on the Orange/Anaheim border at the ALO Hotel this weekend. She has a conference where she will be busy from 8am-5pm and I will be killing time with the pup. Just wondering if there are any places I can bring my little dog nearby/walking distance and watch football? I assume maybe Golden Road Brewing, but I see some other breweries not too far away. Maybe there's another dog friendly place I am not thinking of that will have access to TVs? I am willing to walk up to 1.5-2miles to find a spot, but I won't have access to our car for the weekend.
Damn I made a typo in the subject
Anyone know of some good breakfast spots?
Will be there in January with family and will have no car:( As a Canadian, it’s a bit confusing when most places are called wellness centers and what not. Doesn’t that mean you need a medical card? What are the laws regarding cannabis in California? Thanks all, I can’t wait to experience your beautiful state:)
Has anyone lived in the Park Viridian Apartments in Anaheim? How was your experience? Also any suggestions for good apartments?
Hello,
I need a videographer for an hour at Anaheim Convention centre on 9th Sept.
Need basic shots at Exhibition booth.
Interested kindly DM with quote.
Hey guys traveling to Anaheim this year doing Disney for a 2 days which leaves us with 2/3 extra days in the area any cool automotive related stuff ? I know Hoonigans hq in longbeach closed down is there anything similar within an hour or so TIA
Cross st is Anaheim Blvd and South. On the east side of a Anaheim Blvd.
Looking at property in that area and it looks ok to me but I'm sure the local knows more than I do. Sketchy area? It's close to Olive school. I find it odd there's a trolley road right in front of a school for some reasons.
Any advice? Thank you.
I went to and called multiple places near Disneyland I can't find any sports bars playing the football game because it is on peacock. Does anyone know a place near Disneyland showing the game? Thank you!
Not sure if any Arabs are on this subreddit but I’m coming to Anaheim this weekend and I’m looking for authentic food like manaeesh fol, zaatar stuff like that
Hello! I was wondering if there are any parking alternatives for the Honda Center. I am going to a concert next week, so I want to prepare for my trip!
EDIT: THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING HELPFUL!
Hello all.
Looking for recommendations on bottomless brunch places near Disneyland. I use to start off every morning at Tortilla Joe’s at Downtown Disney until it closed.
If it’s only available on weeekends that works, but if it’s weekdays as well that’s even better!
Why is nearly every hotel sold out for next week near the Convention Center? Is RE+ 2024 or the Landscape Expo really that popular?
Hello all. New Yorker traveling for work for the first time to Anaheim. I’m going to be there around the Halloween timeframe for a conference. I’m looking for suggestions on things to do, preferably evenings (bars, restaurants, clubs, sporting events, etc).
Open to all suggestions.
I would like to write a book covering the city of Anaheim sports fandom, and sports in general.
Of course, I will have to cover the Angels and Ducks, and former teams that once played in the city (Rams), fandom, relationship between the franchises and the city, championships, early history. What other topics should be covered in a book about the cities sportsdom?
1984 Olympics, Monster Trucks, Supercross, golfing, tennis?
