Hi are there any black churches in Anaheim? I just moved here with friend couple months ago so I’ve been trying to make way but I haven’t been able find any Christian black church within walking distance 😭
Hi everyone!
I’m staying in Anaheim for a week in April for a work trip.
Which bars / pubs do you recommend for a 24 year old guy to go to?
My brief research into Anaheim makes it seem like there’s not much of a nightlife scene but I’m hoping there’s still fun places to go so I don’t need to cab all the way to LA.
Thanks!
What's the weather like around the end of December? Gonna be visiting Disneyland with my family and I'm curious about what clothes I should pack.
Hey everyone! I’m visiting Anaheim/LA for the first time ever this week and was looking for amazing tacos, Korean and Japanese.
I’m flying into LAX and will need to Uber to Anaheim to get to my hotel.
What are the best tacos near Disneyland/Convention center?
Any recommendations for good food spots would be highly appreciated.
Today they only picked up trash, but my lawn waste and recycling wasn’t picked up.
Do you live in Anaheim, and use the Anaheim Utilities website to pay your bill? Recently they did some sort of update to the website, and I have been experiencing lots of problems, trying to simply view my bill and pay it. Site is very glitchy. I’d like to know if anybody is experiencing issues with it, as well. Did you like it better, the old way?
Hi I just moved to Anaheim and was wondering if there were any good photo shops that develop film within a reasonable time period, at a reasonable price.
I typically go to Photo Lab in Costa Mesa/N.B but it’s a bit further from me now. Any recs are very appreciated!
Have a concert to go to tomorrow. What’s a good free option for parking nearby to avoid the construction mess at Honda Center at the moment? Thank you!
I just moved down here a couple days ago. What is there to do? I'm a 20 year old dude who doesn't drink or do drugs. Anybody know any places hiring? Im near Lincoln and 57
Hello!
Looking for a full service dinner recommendation near disney. I am from southern california and a Mexican place with good margaritas would hit the spot but also very interested in Vietnamese, Indian, pretty much anything but American food since I will be at Disney.
Thank you!!!
Not franchises like Denny's. My niece saw an old fashioned diner on TV and said she had never seen one. ; (
Hi
I’m a big time weed user but I’m from Wisconsin so I get mine from a friend who has a buddy who grows it. You know how it is. It’s not legal here. So I’m traveling to Anaheim for Disneyland and I’d like to order for delivery from one of the nearby dispensaries and I have a question.
When I purchase a cartridge, is it just the little vial of liquid, or is there a means by which to actually vape it? Or do I need a separate apparatus for that? I don’t want to order a cartridge thinking I’ll be all set and then have no way to use it.
I’ll be getting edibles too, but I thought as long as I’m ordering, I may as well get that too.
Thanks! 🪴🔥💨
Hey yall i am planning a surprise birthday trip for my fiancé to CA in January. I was looking for recommendation on things to do in the Anaheim area other than Disneyland (already planned). Restaurants, places to visit etc.
Thanks yall.
Hello everyone, I will be in Anaheim for a conference around march next year. In the spare time, I would like to visit LA and the nearby beaches, but would like to avoid renting a car if possible (majority of the time I will be at the conference) or spending a fortune with Uber. Is there any public transport or private bus service/car sharing that allows to reach LA in some way and any of the nearby beaches? I know it's a tough request, but so far it seems I am looking at 2 hours total time transport (and 2 hours back) which is a lot....some help or suggestion would be nice :) thanks a lot!!!
I need recommendations for a barber here in Anaheim.
My partner keeps going to super cuts and it’s never the vibe (no shit)
Preferably one that doesn’t charge like 60-70 bucks. Sweet spots around edit nvm he said like 25-30
We are staying in Anaheim but want to go to Universal. Happy to use combo of public transport and Uber/lyft. What would be the best route? Uber to Norwalk then train/bus? Trying to avoid a million changes of train/bus routes but don’t want to spend a small fortune on Ubers.
I was kinda shocked but not surprised it closed. That location was bad to begin with. Another business closed in DT Anaheim.
When walking to Disneyland my boyfriend and I heard a band of 2 kids playing guitar drumming in front of a CVS. We have had their song “Drag” stuck in our heads for the day and NEED to find them to support!! Anyone know anything about this band?
Is there a place in town that sells seamoss?
I’m driving to anaheim on monday and staying there for a couple days for Disneyland. I’m driving from Las Vegas and I was curious how bad drivers were out there? I’ve heard a lot about california drivers being very aggressive and just overall bad drivers. Out here in Vegas we have our fair share of terrible drivers and road rage so i’m curious what to expect while being out there. Thank you in advance!
I am planning to drive down to Anaheim from the Central Coast for a concert on 11/27 (day before Thanksgiving). I have seen a lot of other posts about traffic being horrible the day before Thanksgiving. I am trying to figure out a time frame to begin the drive without being stuck in hours of traffic. Would leaving around 11-12 be a good time (Drive is usually about 3:30-4 hours from my city) to make it to my hotel at a reasonable time (5-6 PM) ?
Los Angeles, California — On August 6, 2023 at around 12:20 p.m., Olympic Division Patrol officers were driving east on the 2600 block of Pico Boulevard when they saw the suspect, later identified as 29-year-old Jose Delgado-Pinto, standing in the opposing lanes of traffic pointing a handgun at them. As the officers stopped their vehicle in the roadway, Diego-Pinto fired at them, which resulted in an Officer-Involved Shooting (OIS). Delgado-Pinto ran one block east and discarded his handgun near the intersection of Pico Boulevard and Dewey Avenue.
Responding patrol units located Delgado-Pinto at the southwest corner of Pico Boulevard and Berendo Street. Delgado-Pinto took a fighting stance, which resulted in the deployment of a TASER. He fell to the ground and was subsequently taken into custody. Delgado-Pinto was struck by gunfire during the OIS and transported by Fire Department paramedics to a nearby hospital, where he was treated and released. He was later booked for attempt murder. The investigation determined that the police vehicle was struck by gunfire; however, no officers or community members were injured during this incident. Delgado-Pinto’s firearm, which was identified as a 'Ghost Gun', was recovered at scene.
