I have a family tradition coming up where we all meet in one area and just touristy stuff haha. We have two restaurants in the area picked out but now we need some fun activities :) my family is really into weird/spooky stuff all year round, ideally not haunted just “themed” lol. Also, arts, markets, etc. What would you guys suggest? We’ve been to Disney about a thousand times and we’re over it haha. Thanks!
Hey Everyone,
Headed down to Anaheim from Miami in a couple of weeks. What are some of the best tacos in the area or the OC?
My wife and I moved to Anaheim hills from NorCal originally from the east coast and would really like to meet some more people in our situation/like us. We are 37 no kids (not having any) both educated and work in Healthcare. I’m also a professionally endorsed rock/metal musician.
I don’t even know where to start. Every time I look for a place to go online it sends me to some nightclub 45 min away and that’s not my scene man. Any suggestions?
Hi. I’m traveling to Anaheim for the first time and we won’t have a car, so I won’t be able to go to a dispensary. So I am wondering if I need to bring my own (like I do when I’m traveling to a place where it isn’t legal) or if I can order them to be delivered to my hotel? I’m staying at a place that’s across the street from Disneyland. It’s considered a good neighbor hotel. I don’t need to get wasted and hit the parks. I just need to control the pain at the end of a long day so I can sleep.
What do I do?
Is there somewhere in town that serves molokhia???
In town for a week, what things are there to do that aren’t gonna cost me an arm and a leg. Fresh post-grad here so not a lot of money to be spending on extravagant tours or anything.
Gonna go to Disneyland ofc but what else, maybe a ducks game?
Edit: I won’t have access to a car so if readily accessible by public transport or a close uber is better.
Curious what everyone’s thoughts are on the Anaheim District 5 council race. This Andrew Sarega guy seems like an absolute clown. Something also feels super fishy about his campaign. Posting this in the OC page since he was also previously on the La Habra City Council. Would love to hear your thoughts.
In town for a bit. Anyone know of any decent spots to go out at night….
I was woken up by multiple loud booming noises just now at 1.45 am in Anaheim, close to the Angel stadium. They are very loud, come one at a time, and are spaced far apart (at least 2 to 3 min)
In town for a conference and looking for kareoke. What's a good place in Anaheim? Bonus for Spanish music. Thank you!!!
Hi Folks, I'm on the hunt for amazing homemade food coming out of the home-kitchens of moms in our community, does anyone know anybody whose selling food from home? Thanks.
Legit question how are ppl buying homes here, and what occupation are they in.
I’m in warehouse management making about 120k after bonus.
Single 29 male - feels like I’ll never own a home. It’s like I have 2 directions - rent a decent place have a nice car and still go out and have fun and save minimal. Or live way below my means, not live my life and save for the next 5 years to have a large enough down payment maybe for a 2b 1Bath home.
Am I the only one that feels this way???
Anyone know any local haunted houses in Anaheim or nearby to check out tonight? TIA
Hello. Does anyone know of any yummy breakfasts spots in the Anaheim area?
Is it normal for scare actors in the public areas of the garden walk? I get that it’s Halloween and there is a Halloween stuff going on but I had a strange encounter last thursday. In town for a conference and walking back to hotel, this dude dressed like Jason comes up to me and husband out of nowhere and jumps at me. My reaction was to push him and say fuck off. Dude then is then whining like “hey you aren’t supposed to touch me”. Like I get it if I was inside a haunted house, I would expect this. But walking through a public area and some rando comes up to me and does that, I don’t know if it’s for a scare, prank, or mugging so yeah I’m going to react. It was weird. Actually the whole Gardenwalk was weird.
Woke up to a terrible acrid smoke smell and sirens at 3:45am. Went out for smokes at 7-11 and saw many many fire engines and firemen who were on top of Kona Motel cutting holes in the roof. Looks like they had it under control. There was probably such a large response because it is a motel and the possibility of quite a few people staying there. Hope everyone is OK.
Hey, New Yorker here in town (for a few days). What are some cool things to do except overpriced Disney? Staying here for a few days, no car (challenging myself to be a true NYer and use public transportation 😅). If I find a buddy or a few who wanna hang I’m down. When I was coming in I was amazed by the natural beauty and mountains in the region. Thanks for the input/advice.
Hi everyone! I am born and raised in Vegas and have recently been proposed a job opportunity in Fullerton for next year. My partner and I are strongly considering this option since we’ve never moved before and would like to know what it’s like to start new.
If everything goes well, we’ll most likely rent an apartment in Anaheim so I can be close to work. Unfortunately, this opportunity isn’t offering me a relocation package—however, I will use this as leverage to negotiate a higher salary. What’s a good minimum salary to live in Anaheim?
The apartments we’re looking at has a rental price range of $3,000-$4,000. What would be a good combined salary to live off of to afford that kind of rent? And coming from Vegas, what is the quality of life like?
FYI - we don’t have kids. Just two dogs. We share one car together. We own a townhome in Vegas and will most likely rent it out to help us out (and as a fail safe should I not like the job and move back). My partner works remote full-time and has a base salary of $55,000 with commission.
Any advice/insight would be greatly appreciated!!

Looking for some recommendations on where to go on a Friday night that has dinner, drinks, dancing hooka is a plus. Looking for a more younger crowd that can dance to Arabic and Latin music aswell. Thanks in advance.
We were hoping to see the parade tonight, but we were driving on part of the route last night and saw all the chairs and caution tape reserving spots. Is there anywhere on the route where you can get a spot day of? If so, how early would we need to be there?
