Hey! The names Mike and I need some assistance getting started with using pre made free IR’s. I can’t figure out how to import the damn things into Logic Pro! I appreciate any help!
I’m a live electronic act and I’m looking for a great modeling plugin that uses as little cpu as possible. I really want to use the Neural DSP Archtype Mateus Ashton plugin but sadly that plugin alone eats up 20% of the CPU on my M1 Max Mac.
If anyone has any recommendations let me know. As mentioned this will exclusively be used live.
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to delve into the world of professional grade amp modelers and am curious what options are out there that would allow me to make edits to my presets using an iphone or ipad? So far it seems the Fender Tone Master Pro and Quad Cortex do? Are there any other big names out there that would allow for edits on mobile devices?
I have multiple modeling devices (Kemper Power Toaster, Helix Rack, Quad Cortex, and now the Fender Tone Master Pro). Looking at expression pedals, of course Mission Engineering is top of the list but really don’t want to buy 4 of them (one per unit). Anyone used any expression pedals that will work across the board? Or does anyone have experience using ME pedals across different units where I could maybe only have to buy 2 and not 4)?
I'm a bedroom player thinking about getting an all-in-one modeler for practice and travel between a couple locations. Like the title says, I'm thinking about a GX-100, an HX Stomp, or a Headrush Core.
I'm playing a lot of Stoner Metal right now, and having models of some Orange, Sunn or Matamps would be nice to mess with, but im also looking for a good all-rounder. I also don't have a PC at the moment, so ease in building patches without it through an app or touch screen until i do would be ideal.
I know the HX Stomp has the reputation of the community and regular updates, but I'm also intrigued by what I've heard about the Headrush Core with the user downloads and the the touch screen. And the GX-100 is on the table as well.
Does anybody have any opinions on what would be the best option for me?
for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to make a duplicate of a preset in the Tone Master Pro. I feel like this HAS to be an option, it'd be ridiculous if it wasn't... but I can't figure it out. Essentially, I find a tone, And Im happy with it for a certain section in a song - but I wanna make changes to it for other sections, and rather than build the entire thing from scratch again I would love to be able to duplicate it and then make the changes and save me tons of time. Can I NOT do this? any help please!
Hi all,
I just created r/Tonocracy as a platform to discuss about and share Atomic Amp's Tonocracy related content.
Tonocracy integrated NAM (Neural Amp Modeller) perfectly and has a cloud sharing service for presets too. And it's free !
Please join and share.
Thanks.
Hello All,
I'm fairly new to the idea of amp modeling and am still learning the difference between modelers, profilers, pedal platforms, etc. I think I have a general idea of the differences between each term, but may fail a quiz if presented with one : ) I've looked through this sub for an answer to the following question, but haven't found a clear one yet, so I thought I'd ask it outright:
I've been looking at different products like the options from Fractal, the Fender TMP, Helix, Quad Cortex, etc. One thing that I don't really see mentioned is the ability to control one via an iPad app. I understand that the Quad Cortex has an iPad app for configuration of the various patches, but what I would really like is to be able to jump to difference patches while playing a gig. Theoretically I'd like to be able to create my custom builds for each song and trigger their use via my iPad as I play through the setlist of a gig. Is this possible with anytying on the market today? I saw one of the products had a setlist feature, but it seemed like a confusing combination of cycling through stomps on the device, which I feel may be a little distracting while playing a gig, and may get me in trouble if the band decides to switch around the order of songs at the last minute.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to respond!
Hey All - wondering what headphones you all use / like with your modelers… my old Grado’s have seen better days. I have a nice set of Weston’s in ears which are fantastic… but looking for over-ear… I just play at home as hobbyist these days… appreciate your thoughts on this.
