Hi all, Bucks Adult Learning give discount to learners if a previous (or existing) learner refers a new learner. The previous or exisitng learner (that could be you) gets £50 to put towards a future adult learning course, the referee (me) gets 15% off a future course.
Unfortunately, I do not personally know anyone who has been on a adult leraning course but I hoped someone on this subreddit could help.
If you have done a course with adult learning and could help please DM me. All that would be required is to fill out a very short online form on the adult learning website (stating your name and when you did the course etc). Thanks.
Would be greatly appreciated
Hello, we are a group of psychology researchers from the University of Kent, UK. It would be a huge help if anyone from Britain who is interested would fill out our quick survey (18+ years old only) about your views of refugees.
Fill out the survey here: https://universityofkent.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4U6y8pi1se8YjrM
We are posting here because we hope to collect responses from British participants with various political perspectives and backgrounds. Please let us know if you would like a summary of your responses once the data collection is complete.
The survey takes ~7 minutes to complete, and we are happy to respond to any queries or questions. Please private message us to avoid giving away the point of the study to others.
Thanks for your time.
Edit: The survey is now closed! Thank you very much for your time.
Hi! My name is Kathryn Phillips and I am a PhD student from Canterbury Christ Church University. My PhD concerns men who have experienced unwanted sexual contact in adulthood. The goal of my research is to make recommendations to the police to improve the police response to male survivors.
This post has been made to advertise my survey. The survey is for men who have experienced unwanted sexual contact and asks about your decision of whether to report the contact to the police, and if you did so, your experiences of the police. You do not need to have reported to the police in order to participate, however.
The survey is completely anonymous and all data will be held strictly confidential. If there are any questions in the survey you feel uncomfortable answering, you may skip these and leave them blank.
To be eligible to participate:
If you are interested in participating, you can find out more and participate by following this link: https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/canterbury/mss
Any questions? You can email me (kp347@canterbury.ac.uk) or comment below.
Thank you.
EDIT: The survey will be closing 31st August 2024 at 11:59pm. Thank you so much to all those who participated and those who left kind comments.

Can anyone enlighten me on the location of the HS2 Tunnel Exit? And does it exit into a cutting?
Hi all,
I am a student of the IB Diploma. I am writing an academic research paper for the Extended Essay in Economics, where I am attempting to analyze the impact of the recently imposed National Living Wage on employees in the UK.
The survey set requires people working in the UK. Ideally, it would be nice to get responses from minimum wage workers aged 25 and above, however, any/ all responses will be extremely helpful.
I request workers in the UK to please help me by participating in this survey and answer some very simple questions in the link attached.
Also,I will be extremely grateful if you can help circulate this survey to your known acquaintances in the UK.
Keeping in mind the privacy aspect, please note that this survey is and will remain completely anonymous, nor will the data be reproduced anywhere. This survey, once again is for my course research purposes only and not for any other intention or purpose.

I'm making a tv show for The Travel Channel in the US about Amersham called "The Most Haunted Town in Britain" and we're looking for interviewees. If you have had a ghostly experience in Amersham than I'd love to have you on the show, you don't necessarily have to still live in Amersham but it would be easier for us logistically if you were nearby. If you have any questions please reply and if you're interested send me a PM and we'll take it from there.

My company was in search of help in training the salespeople regarding closing sales. Having been through such training, utilising neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), I suggested going that route. It is a very effective technique. We found a very good provider of that training in Cognisant Training in Amersham. The salespeople spoke very highly of the content and the way it was delivered. The course was fininshed about 6 months ago, and we have improved our rate of closure vs opportunity significantly. The information about their courses can be seen on their website at http://cognisant-training.co.uk/training/nlp-diploma-practitioner-master-practitioner/
