My application got rejected over a year ago. I tried to sign in to Amazon merch multiple times every 5-6 months since, and keep getting the message:
"We appreciate your interest, but your account request has been declined. We thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself to us and encourage you to check out selling options on Amazon."
Has anyone been able to get approved after being declined in the last couple of years? I am based in Canada.
So I uploaded a design based on the Indiana state flag, titled '- INDIANA CROSSROADS STATE FLAG'. Did the usual check for two word trademarks, but stupidly, used the term 'Hoosiers' to describe citizens from Indiana in the product description, and prematurely hit publish. Got a rejection email ten minutes later.
I'm guessing that it was the inclusion of the word 'Hoosiers' that triggered the rejection - either from the movie of the same name, but more likely from the Indiana University Hoosiers basketball team.
If I remove 'Hoosiers' from the description text, what's the verdict on resubmitting?
I need help with Taxes in Austria. Can you tell me how I should proceed with filling the taxes from MBA since they don't issue any invoices? Any help would be great guys. Thank you!
it has been for me but i havent really scaled my products (they are old listings so i didnt do it for the other products) but i was wondering if it was worth it to "select all" for products or if it makes it too many choices. back in the day i had to make them 1 at a time so i didnt bother.
worried that if i change some info on my good sellers that itll mess up ranking/algorithm? or is it safe?
i have stuff from back in the day where you could still put 'tshirt' in the title/brand/bullets and id have to remove them to make ANY edits (including price, which im trying to raise) and am curious if anyone has had experience with this
I uploaded a text design that says:
"My nephew swings hard but I swing harder watch ya mouth" and added a baseball bat. The design was rejected right away and I don't know if there is something wrong with it.
Or could it be due to the fonts that I used??? I got them from Creative Fabrica. This is the 8th rejection
I just recently started doing Merch on Demand. I've only had a few sales and they were all friends + family. I have 6/10 designs published and I'm slowly building up my product potential by adding my allotted 4 more everyday. My question is- is it just a waiting game in the beginning? Doing quick math It will take me 6 months to build up my product potential at the rate of only being allowed to add 4 per day. Was that typical for all of you as well? Also, when did you start to see sales come in? Did you do anything to promote your merch elsewhere or just let Amazon do it's thing? I've been reading about paying for ads as well. Just not sure if/when to start doing that. Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated! Things you wish you knew before you started, etc.
I've looked through various settings on AmazonAdvertising, and I cannot find a place where I can limit my ads to just US shoppers. Is there a way to do this? The books I sell have a US focus, so any ad that runs in a different country is pretty much a waste. Thanks for your help
This just well may be the only way to deal with these companies that hide behind DMCA 'safe harbor'. Seeing how the payout is up to 250K, per violation, they may solve all my money problems. Once and for all! Best $65 I ever spent.
Seems the word "exotic" triggers a manual review. Good God -- I meant it in the travel sense.
Hey everyone,
I’m currently on Amazon Merch, but looking to expand to other POD platforms. I like that Merch gives royalties and handles everything else like sales tax, shipping, returns, etc.
I’m looking for a similar POD platform to Merch, especially with the royalties.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Anyone have any idea why a few of my designs that sell well in one niche would suddenly disappear? They were there a few days ago, but today they gone from the first page, in fact I can’t find them at all. They are still live but do not show up at all. One has been up for a year, the other two, they both sell well, or did :(
While editing some of my fully published designs (all products published) today I noticed that I had unchecked boxes on the "Select Products" window, and now I'm realizing that these are iPhone cases for the 5 European markets.
I guess we'd have to manually resubmit all our existing designs with these boxes checked to publish iphone cases for the European market, it won't look like it'll be automatic.
I'm wondering if this is showing up for anyone else as well.
I'm getting tired of people adding my top sellers to their own custom storefront page so am thinking about just creating my own, but not sure where to begin. Can we do that as Merch people or do these guys have some other accounts like FBA and using that to create a custom page?
They are not realistic, they distort the graphics and make them look bad. Every time you enable the mockups sales take a dip. You must be seeing sales dip in your data as well, so why are you still testing them? And specifically, why are you continuing to test the ones that distort the graphics the most? Makes no sense.
wasn't able to find supported counties list and what can I do if I am not in supported country to get approved . (I am from Georgia)
I'm 6' tall with shoes (or house sandals), 5'11.5" without.
I'm not sure 46.5" will be tall enough of a standing desk to comfortably work on while walking on the treadmill. What's the best standing desk height for my height?
I'm around 247.5-252.5 lbs, so I need a desk treadmill that will tolerate my weight just fine.
Incline-able desk treadmills are optional.
I need the desk treadmill to cost no more than $200 after shipping.
I expect a desk treadmill to be 3"-6" tall.
I need the standing desk to cost no more than $200 after shipping.
My waist size is about 40" so how wide will the treadmill conveyor belt need to be in order for me to comfortably walk on it?
I plan to put a laptop, tablet and foldable smartphone on that desk surface. I plan to put books and paper documents on there too, so that I can scan them with my phone.
So since I'm undergoing a massive search for a standing desk with a desk treadmill, which of them would be the best fit for me? Please link to their Amazon pages? Thanks.
Not seeing this with any others, anyone else seen something similar?
Anyone else’s sales unusually low for this time of year? I’ve been in this since it almost began and I’ve never had such low numbers. I know it tends to pick up more as the year goes on but i can’t remember sales being this slow. Hopefully it isn’t like this for everyone.
I just moved from Tier 10 to 25 after selling 28 t-shirts. To be honest, I was expecting Tier 100 as I sold 25 already.
Title.
So different design submission each time (similar variation of one main design), but use the exact same title, brand name, description for all of them.
I asked Merch support but for some odd reason they absolutely refuse to answer my question on this. Apparently for legal reason they can't answer this question. Not sure why they can't answer a question directly relating to their policy.
Anyone ever done this? No issues so far?
1 plus area code- then number right? Ive put it in 20 different ways goes red- says in valid code.
Stuck at Tier 25 although I have made 47 sales and should be in Tier 1OO. Been like 2 months now.
This was my first March on MBA. How's March in general compared to January and February? For me, I got much more sales than I was expecting given the first two months of the year. Is April generally similar or should I keep my hopes down?
I got like 3 rejections in less than 2 days and I'm at tier 25. How bad is that for my account?
Usually I get Payments from the Eu first and a couple of hours later from the US. But today I haven't received anything yet from either side.
Anyone else?
The last reviews I received on UK products in the past few months (read these with a British accent of course :)
Also had an instance last year where the wrong product was sent.
Am I just having a string of bad luck or has anyone else noticed the same issue?
As the title says another question, do you guys delete rejected designs?
So everyone says that success is about quantity over quality.
My question is are there any examples of "brands" on merch that have low quantity, high quality and sell well specifically because of external traffic being directed to it from tik tok?
The high quantity approach leans on amazon traffic. Can a low quantity approach work if it leans on social media traffic, assuming that traffic is high quality/converting?
I feel like this must've been discussed before but can't find much. Surely amazon would want to reward brands that "start up" via amazon and direct traffic to their merch listings?
Are there any downsides to using amazon merch to "test" my low quantity clothing brand startup?
