Hi. I want to make (embroider) an altar covering for fortune telling on cards, but I don't understand anything about it. I need this project for my Etsy shop. So... if I make it.. 1 person will receive such a covering as a gift. Thank you!!
does this count as an altar ā that is, where i do all the brainstorming and creative, reflective art/spiritual/devotion to a particular idea(s) and such?
i bought moonstone runes and candles, and im tryina find things that are specific colors, i.e. "skin tone", or, that have earthy/dark or bloody colors (purply beige, or dirty orangy red) or characteristics like so
the posision of the things also have meaning, with on the left being more internal and reflective, and on the right for outward stuff.
Altar to Lady Freya, I added a foxtail and a statue. Watching your altar change is my favourite part of spiritual growth. What is yours?
Im new here and to witchcraft. I have seen people creating altars for deity. Im not sure how to choose the deity or even where to start? At this point I just want some help developing my practice and protection. I have always been attracted to the moon if that helps. Any suggestions of deities I can research about based on my intent. š
Hi, Iām wondering if anyone has advice on what to do with my altar contents as Iām preparing for a move. Iām thinking Iāll start fresh at the new place. I do have some natural materials (feathers, dried flowers, acorns) that Iām thinking of returning to the Earth. Is there any sort of ritual as you disassemble an altar? Feels weird to just pack everything up.
So, i tried to fix up my aphrodite alter but idk if im missing something. Any help?
I havenāt updated or cleaned my altar in a long time so I did today, and I relocated crystals I believed to be fake (they were from when I was a beginner witch). I added seashells and added more nature related things. Have a wonderful day! āļø
I recently made a altar for hades (I don't know if he's ok with me posting it yet so I won't be adding a picture) and I was wondering what I should add. So far I have: Dark brown cloth Money 3 candles Incent Offering bowl Crystals Some sort of animal bones And a chocolate bar
Hey all! This is my first post on this subreddit! I wanted to share with you all my altar and the new piece I've added to it... glass diamonds!
If any of you have any questions, let me know!
