I’m newer to the area and I’m looking for a good vet to take my cat to, preferably one that is open on Saturdays.
She comes by every day meowing, acting like she is in distress/lost. She was clean the first day she came by, but progressively has been declining each day getting dirtier, fleas etc. She has a pink collar but it's torn up pretty bad, no name tag. Off of Queen/Marion. Super sweet and friendly. Anyone know her owners?
Edit I see now I phrased the question all wrong. Skip to the bottom
FORGET THIS PART: I can no longer manage my curly fine but now dry shoulder length hair and need a regular person I can go to keep my hair in check while still looking okay. Someone who possibly specializes in short hair cuts for people with fine hair. I am disabled so I just need a "wash n wear" look. I realize I probably gave waaaay to much detail but a person can dream, right?
READ THIS PART: Edit:I'm a disabled woman that wears a hat all the time because im too sick to do anything with it. I just need it SHORT, CHEAP. The shorter it is the straighter it is so there's that. Once I brush if after a shower the curl is all gone and there is just a wiry mess that I need to cut off and be able to afford to keep short. IM DISABLED. I CANT AFFORD A 22 HAIRCUT EVERY FEW WEEKS. It would be nice not to have to wear a hat though.
This guy with absolutely no working brake lights!!!!🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤬🤬
I recently turned 15 and Ive been trying to find a job I've tryd asking a couple of family friends but honestly I have no idea where to start if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated
Best fish tacos in Albany? Bonus points if I can Doordash them - thank you so much!
I moved to North Albany recently and I've heard a LOT already about the new developments going in. In person, on voters pamphlets, on the facebook pages - it seems like it's everywhere!
I'm just wondering why people are so opposed to it. To me it seems like townhomes would be a great use of the land, but like I said I just moved here so I don't doubt that I'm missing some information about it.
Are there any near by Public Lands that i can camp at, or year round camp grounds for some fall and wintering camping?
plzzzzz i would love nothing more than to obnoxious sing chari xcx with a cheap beer in both hands a s a p
Hi all! We are new to Albany so have no clue what the Halloween scene here is like. I wanted to get candy to hand out to kiddos and others who do trick or treating in our complex, but I’m not sure if I should. My bf is worried that people aren’t gonna come or that they go to other areas and we’ll end up wasting it.
We live over on Waverly and Queen, and our apartment is only 2 stories, on the smaller side and the parking lot is all shared so we often run into other people. Does anyone have any experience with this?? Not sure if I should go ahead and just splurge and get the full sized treats for the families at our place 😝
I'm a 32 year old male looking to possibly move here with my wife.
What should I know?
Where is a good place to meet friends?
Is this a good place to raise a family?
I saw some apartments online for $1400-$1500.
Is that reasonably safe areas?
Best calzone in Albany?
Any decent spots for hill sprints?
I missed the Northern Lights last time … any good recommendations in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon, or around that proximity to see them ?
I lost my Chevrolet key fob (same as in photo) last weekend somewhere between The Barn and Takena Park. If anyone finds it, would be super grateful if you let me know!

My wife is looking for a lunch spot in Albany. She and her friends are used to going up to Salem, even though we live midway between there and Albany. They’d like to try going south for a change!
Their favorite Salem places are Acme Cafe and Word Of Mouth Bistro. What’s in Albany that has a similar vibe — small, intimate, serving classic American diner fare but with a modern or inventive twist?
Do any businesses in town sell Beaver's gear? We're going to the game on Saturday and don't feel like driving all the way to campus.

Hi all! I’m a local esthetician offering facial and lash extension services. I’m currently running an October special!
Okay, sory for the weird title. But the Pacific Blvd Overpass by the Cool Pool has had this weird smell for years. I've been trying to figure it out, but im stumped. It is a rotting smell, and I have several theories: 1: Van Vleet Meats 2: The cool pool 3: The train tracks??? 4: Republic Services 5: Something at the Prison/ State building 6: The encampments 7: Unknown variables If anybody has answers, please let me know. It's driving me nuts. (pictured: The Overpass from the sidewalk)
At the Albany Civic Theater downtown, I think it’s showing until October 12(ish). It was a lot of fun, and the cast, crew, musicians, and everyone involved did a great job! Absolutely recommend it. And the splash zone seats were great!
Hey! Someone broke into my partners car yesterday, they didn’t break any window or anything so they were very good. This was on 15th and Geary. If anyone have rings or cameras around there with suspicious activity please let me know! Especially if you live in the Brookshore apartment complex! Also if anyone sees someone trying to sell Snap-On tools out of a red and black bag please let me know! Also any help trying to find this person or tips of someone with the tool bag would be most appreciated!
I'd like to get out of my house and study somewhere. Beyond the public library, what's your favorite local study spot?
