Tetsuooooo! Akiraaaaaa!
This is the Italian 30th anniversary Blu-ray printed by Dynit. It's the regular version, so it has almost zero bonus content. But it should give me the best looking version of Akira I can buy. Can't wait to watch it!
Oh and it has japanese 5.1 audio, tough sadly I don't have the hardware to enjoy it.
Kaboom!
...that I was surprised it wasn't a stand alone splash page!

I always thought it would be cool to have a game based on that, and a pity no one ever did one… So I made it myself.
Gangs of Neo Tokyo, heavily inspired by Akira aesthetic and the old Road Rash games, releasing soon on Steam:

I bought this at the recent Otomo exhibition in Shibuya and it arrived today. Very happy (Take 2 with better photo)
Hey everyone, I am a long time Akira film fan and have watched it numerous times in dub and English sub forms. Now, i currently live in South Korea and they are playing Akira for a limited time at cinemas. My small issue is that the language will be in Japanese but with Korean subtitles and my Korean is beginner.
I guess I wanted the cinema experience for the first time and I am contemplating to just go and watch it but I also think i could be wasting my time. do you think it is a waste of money if I go and view in the cinema that since I cannot fully understand the subtitles? Help me out! :D
