    Jogging buddy

I am a 33 year old woman looking for someone to jog with 3-4 times a week in the evenings. It's been tough finding someone with the same availability as me. I will want to jog at about 6:15pm for about 20-30mins, I am flexible on which days we would be jogging. If we jog on monday or tuesday, I could go any time during the day, any other day of the week will need to be in the evenings. Please let me know if you are interested.

    Suggestions for things to do

Hi! I’m visiting next month, hoping for suggestions on places to go and things to do in Airdrie.

Local restaurants to try out? Any great local hiking trails? Best dessert?

    Annual Highway Clean-up

Volunteer Airdrie is running our annual highway clean up on May 4th (AKA Star Wars Day) from 08:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Our main base will again be at the Quest Braces parking lot on Sierra Springs Drive SE, Airdrie.

We need 30-40 volunteers in order to complete the 15 km of highway from the north City limit to the Balzac overpass (Hwy 566) in 3-4 hours. In addition, we will need 4-8 volunteer drivers to shuttle our cleanup volunteers to and from their designated areas during the day.

Since this year's campaign falls on "Star Wars Day" (May the 4th be with you), we are inviting participants to dress up as their favourite Star Wars character for a chance at prizes in 3 age categories (9-12, 13-17 and 18+). We will also have a random draw of all participants for a special door prize.

If you are interested and available, you can find this posting on our Better Impact volunteering database, or you can sign up using our SignUpGenius page at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0449A8AA2FA5FB6-49221912-qe2highway#/

    Good veterinarians

I’m looking for a good veterinarian in airdrie area since I will be going on a long (9hr) drive to go stay up north this summer and unfortunately my kitty doesn’t do good on car rides so I’d like to get her some anxiety/sedative medication for the drive there/back. Anyone have any recommendations on a good vet to handle this situation?

    Question for Renters!

I'm moving to Airdrie soon and looking for a rental apartment. Wondering if there are any great property management companies out there and on the flipside, which ones should be avoided at all costs? I reached out to Vesta but then it turns out they are Fireside Property Group (anyone dealt with them?). The communications with them were great up front but now is giving me sus vibes!

All insights are super appreciated ♡

School for my kid in Airdrie

    Hello group,

We are moving to Iron horse condo in June and are looking for daycare for my younger kid and a school for the elder one, she will be starting grade 3 now. I only know there's CBE schools and then there are private schools in Calgary. Can someone through some light about how does Rocky county schools work ? Is there any fee reduction programs like we have here in Calgary ( Fair entry kind stuff )

    Your suggestions are most welcome.

Local shop for lifted truck suspension?

New in town, have a work truck that needs suspension work. I've been to Cam Clark twice for unrelated work and definitely won't be going back, but that's another story.

Looking for a local shop that deals with aftermarket suspension sales and installs. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.
