Best value for money LPVO with crosshair reticle

Hi guys, I am about to buy LPVO for my 14,5 AR15. I want one with crosshair reticle and good illumination. I consider following options:

  • Vector Optics Continental 1-6x24i ($367) - cheapest one on the list. According to FocusTripp it is better than PA Nova. C_does tested 1-8x version and was very impressed. It has lifetime warranty which usually works, but I heard about the case when VO refused to fix or replace scope which had internal fogging issue.
  • Primary Arms SLx 1-6x24 Nova ($422) - king of budget scopes, lifetime warranty.
  • Vortex Viper PST II 1-6x ($668) - great track record and warranty, but at the price of substantial weight.
  • Delta Stryker 1-6x24 DSMR ($751) - some say it is 80-90% of Vortex Razor performance for half the price. Lightweight, great optical performance. "Only" 10 years of warranty, but local service should provide good support (I am from Poland). I am not sure how rugged it is comparing to Vortex - I mean, weight saving could mean it is more fragile.
  • Vortex Razor HD Gen II-E 1-6x24x ($1738) - king of SFP scopes. Probably the best LPVO I can buy within my budget. Pretty heavy, but sturdy. Is it worth additional $1K over Delta though?

I know, that is quite a price range. I don't necessary want to buy the cheapest or the best scope. I want to be happy with my choice and neither mediocre nor overpriced scope will make me happy. Which one should I buy to have a sense of well spent money?

P.S. Prices may seem off to you, but I live in Poland - gun accessories tend to have wild prices in Europe, especially those imported from USA.

Question: how do y’all get these pics?

I can’t get my phone close enough with the stock to get a photo like this. Tips would be appreciated.

PA Glx 2,5-10 x 44 vs 4-16 x 50

Hi, I was just hoping to get some input on these Scopes:

PA Glx 2,5-10 x 44 (ACSS Raptor M2) vs. PA Glx 4-16 x 50 (ACSS Hud DMR)

  • Will go on a MK12 Mod 0, so for SPR Style shooting mostly 100y to 500y.

  • Will be paired with a red dot, so for anything below 100y the scope isn‘t necessary.

  • They‘re roughly the same price for me.

( I know they are discountiniued, but being from Germany, some Shops still offer them, also PA isn’t used in Germany as much, so taking a look at these in person isn’t an Option.)

I‘m somewhat torn between these two optics for my MK12 as they are about the same weight and check all the boxes for me as far as the features go.

I feel like the ACSS Raptor Reticle would be better suited for the rifle, but i am unsure if the 2,5 -10 Mag Range is a bit low when paired with a red dot anyways and there is a 4-16 option at pretty much the same weight.

I would love to hear some of your thoughts !

Any 3x magnifiers on UNITY Omni with dot on UNITY fast that don’t block built in rear aperture?

I recently got a Unity Omni for my vortex micro 3x and have a dot on a Unity FAST at 2.26 and my whole goal was to utilize the built in rear aperture on the fast riser. I found out today that with the magnifier engaged the top of the magnifier (because they sit upside down on the Omni) is blocking the field of view from using that built in rear aperture.

Any advice appreciated.

Razor gIII at 1200 yds

My first long range outing ever with my new MPA PMR pro II with a vortex razor gen III 6-36x, this was 15-20x… don’t exactly recall I was just so stoked to be there. I know shit isn’t parallel, my enthusiasm plus canting bipod…

Also, how the F do you actually use an iPhone and take good pics down a scope?? This took me entirely too long and it’s still not great.
