This sub is now defunct. We have moved to /r/AhmadiMuslims.
The founder and prophet of Islam, Muhammad (sa) foretold that in the latter days some Muslims would deviate from the true teachings of Islam and would divide the faith into numerous sects. At such a time God Almighty would send the Imam Mahdi and messiah to restore the religion's original teachings.
Ahmadi Muslims believe this prophecy was fulfilled in the person of the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad who was born in the small Indian village of Qadian. Ahmad claimed to be the awaited Imam Mahdi and messiah. He warned the Muslim world their interpretation of Jihad had become corrupted and that true Islam upheld freedom of religion. He taught that a Muslim must hold sympathy for all humankind. Ahmad passed away in 1908, but his mission was continued under the leadership of his successors, or caliphs.
Today, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is led by its fifth Caliph, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, who guides his followers towards moral reformation, spiritual enlightenment, and the highest standards of secular achievement. In its short history and with limited resources, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has produced the first Muslim Nobel Prize winner, the first Muslim president of both the United Nations General Assembly and the International Court of Justice and numerous globally renowned secular and religious scholars.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is established in over 200 countries, has built and maintains thousands of mosques and runs numerous free-to-air international Islamic TV channels, radio stations and websites. Millions of Ahmadi Muslims around the globe strive to spread the beautiful message of the Quran and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has translated Islam's holiest text into over 70 languages.
Holding the motto 'Love for All, Hatred for None', Ahmadi Muslims are renowned for their commitment to peace, their law-abiding nature and their extensive charitable efforts.

There are saheeh ahaadeeth that indicate that the Mahdi (peace be upon him) will appear at the end of time. He is one of the signs of the Hour. Among these ahaadeeth are the following:
Umm Salamah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (Peace & Blessings of Allah be upon Him) say: The Mahdi is of my lineage and family, from the descendants of Faatimah." (Sunan Abu Dawud, 11/373; Sunan Ibn Maajah. 2/1368. Al-Albaani said that it is saheeh in Saheeh al-Jaami, 6734)
Abdullaah ibn Masood reported that the Prophet (Peace & Blessings of Allah be upon Him) said: "The world will not come to an end until the Arabs are ruled by a man from my family whose name will be the same as mine." (Musnad Ahmad, 5/199, hadith 3573. Another version says: " whose name is the same as mine and whose fathers name is the same as my fathers." Sunan Abi Dawud, 11/370).
There are many many many other sahih hadiths that prove that the Mehdi (AS) will be Arab.
Furthermore, as evident by the current state of the world, if Mirza Ghulam is indeed the Mehdi (AS), then why hasn't justice spread in the world? This is also evident by the current prosecution of the Ahmadiyya community.
Adnan Rashid made a post on YouTube inviting anyone to debate the words used by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as).
Adnan doesn’t have the ability and arguments to debate the actual issues regarding his position of the death of Issa(as) so instead he resorts to false premise arguments of focusing on certain phrases Ghulam Ahmad (as) used in out of context ways. He is creating a complete false premise argument. It is actually the SUNNAH of the prophets to on occasion and sparingly use harsh language against out of control opponents.
Let’s remind Adnan of this verse 5:79
*Those amongst the children of Israel who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of David, and of Jesus, son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and used to transgress.
Adnan in a recent video with Dawahwise admitted he gave a translation of “zhurriat baghaya” instead of stating the original Arabic and admitted it could be translated differently than he did. But then he said Ghulam Ahmad (as) still used the term “Walad Haram”…Then I found this in the comments section.
Is there anywhere i can find the roman urdu versions of Mirza ghulam ahmads books. I can understand urdu well but sometimes the way it is written can be difficult to read. Are there any roman urdu translations of his books?
Which Qirat has Hattaa ??? please educate me 🤔
But what Adnan fails to mention when he incorrectly recites this verse is that there is an alternate qirat which has “mautihim” instead of “mautihi”…. So obviously “mautihim” doesn’t refer to Issa (as).
Do u guys have any advice or your stories or anyone else's story. Please share 🙏
This was a very informative speech about love in Islamic marriage: https://youtu.be/einjnwWIzVg
salam, wasn't sure if this was even a valid question, but this doesn't make sense to me. i was watching this and at the beginning (check timestamp: 1:21) Razi Bhai explains how Mohammed Hijab doesn't want to explain the topic and how its a lost argument against Ahmadis as we back up all our statements with the Quran and Hadith ect ect.
but why would he (Mohammed Hijab) do that? like its not like he's being paid to teach muslims right? i just don't see the motive, if he knows he's wrong why is he continuing to spread falsehood? is it arrogancy? shame? or just lack of understanding?
Tazkira Volume I By Allama Inayatullah Khan Mashriqi was nominated for a nobel prize in 1925.
The first part of the book is in Arabic , the second part of the book is in Urdu .
In the second part on page 16 and 17 ( foot notes) he describes the swoon theory, i.e. Jesus Christ was taken of the cross alive, at the end of the page 17 he states Jesus Christ Died according to the law of nature.
The last few lines in the foot notes read as “Jesus’ death too was according to the Divine law regarding which the Quran says: ‘You will not find any change in the law of God’ (Sura Al-Fatir)."

The Promised Messiah (as) said:
Those people who are impatient fall into the clutches of Satan. A righteous person must battle with impatience as well.
In Būstān there is mention of a worshipper. Whenever this individual stood for worship, he would hear a voice from the unseen saying: ‘You have been rejected and forsaken.’ On a certain occasion, one of his disciples heard this voice and said: ‘Now the verdict has been passed. What then is the use of futile action?’
The man wept profusely and said: ‘If I am to leave God, where else should I go? If accursed I am, then so be it. At least I am fortunate enough to be called accursed.’ These discussions were still underway with his disciple, when a voice was heard saying: ‘You have been accepted.’
So all this was the result of sincerity and patience, which is a condition for one who is righteous.

I was reading this article on Alislam and thought it was worth sharing especially in this day and age:
" Question & Answer Session in the USA with Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad(rh)
Question: Somebody I know has a bad habit of listening to music, what is the status of music?
Answer: ‘It all depends on the degree of the habit and the nature of the Music. Music in itself, as a whole, cannot be dubbed as bad. The Islamic principle is that a thing which has more than 50% of bad in it should be rejected and a thing which has less than 50% of bad in it should have its better things utilised and bad things avoided. Music falls in no mans land, it was neither forbidden entirely nor permitted without any conditions.
We know that at the time of Hazrat Mohammad(saw) when he walked into Medina the ladies of Medina sang a song of welcome whilst beating a drum which is called the ‘duff’. That was a sort of music which was available to the Arabs and nobody can say that it was not music. However, it was not the practice of the Holy Prophet(sa) to permit the companions to enjoy music and be given up to music and neither was that their habit. They enjoyed the recitation of the Holy Qur’an or the meaningful verses of good poets but gradually their taste developed and shifted from poetry to the Qur’an.
It therefore requires some time and patience for you to improve the quality of your taste, and without first doing that to abandon certain things would be cruel. In these things it is a matter of taste, in some other things the matter of prohibition is subject to fast and hard rules and you cannot change it. For example you can’t say I have to improve my taste in water before I can stop drinking wine. That would not be permissible because wine is forbidden and what is forbidden is forbidden, but music does not fall into that category.
As regards to music you can acquire a wise approach of a systematic and gradual deliverance from that habit. As far as pop music is concerned I don’t know how people can tolerate that, it is just sheer nonsense. With pop music when people hear the music they leave with some kind of madness and craving which they cannot quench. The taste left behind by this modern ‘so-called music’ is ugly and evil and the society under its influence is becoming uglier and more permissive and more careless of traditional values, so this music is obviously evil and sinful"
personal note: when Hazur mentions the word "craving" i depicted it to basically mean addiction, meaning the continuous listening to music becomes addictive over time and can eventually lead to effecting prayers and daily activities due to this "craving". Thus becoming "evil and sinful"
hazur continues to say:
" You can’t treat every form of music alike which is why I said you have to be wise and selective in your choice. An occasional brush with music cannot be considered a practice whereby you will be sent to hell, I assure you not. However, if you have an occasional brush with music which draws you into itself at the cost of higher values, the memory of Allah (swt), and prayers, where you are taken over by it so much so that it becomes your sole ambition and obsession then you become an obvious loser.’ "
