Currently a sophomore that ETAMed into CVEN at TAMU CSTAT after being on the fence between it and ELEN. After a semester in CVEN, I've realized ELEN would align with my career more and am trying to transfer this upcoming application cycle.

I've already read all the transfer requirements and I fulfill all of them, but it's looking like my GPA is going to stay just barely above the requirement of 3.5, somewhere between 3.5 and 3.6. Was wondering how hard it is to transfer into ELEN as someone already within the college of engineering, assuming I already meet all those requirements.

Current Stats and Notes:

Current GPA: 3.6

Relevant ECs: IEEE member, ASCE member, Solar Car Electrical Team Lead in High School

If I pull 3rd deck tickets in the 10 or less line, is the section I am going to get different from the ones that the 11 plus people go to? So do 10 or less people go to 330-338 and the 11+ in the 340's or all they all together? Just trying to figure out if we should go third deck this Monday morning. Was curious if 11 plus people would be competing for the same seats.

Hello, I am a student who is currently taking ECEN 322, which Robert Nevels himself teaches. For those who have taken him or is knowledgeable of how his classes run, does he possibly do grade cut-offs or curves?

The past two exams have been a bit rough on my side; I've barely scored above the averages for the exams but even so, my grade is not looking too bright. I want to know if I have a solid chance of getting a decent grade in his class.

Anyone selling their sports pass for TU?

I'm a engineering acadamey student and I'm trying to come down to College Station this spring. One of my issues with regiatation is I can't register for diff eq because I fail the pre req check even though I'm in Calc III right now. I'm being told that it is because it's the math departments policy to not let you register until they have the grade for the course. This makes no sense to me, no other class I've registered for has been like this, and I can't find this 'policy' anywhere. Is this a real thing?.

I feel like this should be self explanatory, but when will people learn to NOT come to class if you are sick. I just spent 75 minutes taking my most important test of the semester while sitting next to a guy who LITERALLY hacked his lungs up THE ENTIRE TIME. He was clearly sick and should not have been in a classroom full of 200 people.

I get that you don’t want to miss an exam, but you can so easily go to the doctor and get a note to give to your professor and take the test another time. For your sake and especially the sake of others who you can/will distribute or get sick, DO YOUR PART.

This has always heated me especially since Covid, maybe a severe germaphobe idk.

I just got my AM acceptance like a week ago into the engineering program and I was wondering if I could do a double degree in like business administration or something along those lines in business. I already have all of my common core credit via AP and Dual Credits and I am done with math up to linear algebra and ECEN first semester course so I mean I have a lot of spaces to take on courses and enroll full time.

Is this feasible I mean is there anything stopping?

Hi, I’m currently living over at Holleman Crossjng Apartments and up until this past week everything has been great. Last Tuesday I went grocery shopping, and after grocery shopping I always reorganize my pantry and throw out anything that needs to be thrown away. 30 minutes after heading to campus I received a phone call from my roommate saying there were bugs crawling all over our pantry. I was confused because I had JUST gone through everything.

When I tried going to management they told us to wait a week for the exterminator. To which the exterminator came this past Monday and the bugs are still there after I’ve laid down Raid traps and sprayed with Raid 3x a day. We have also removed all food so the cabinet has been empty for almost 2 weeks now. To which the bugs are still there.

Is anyone else at Holleman crossing going through this? Or has anyone else had a similar issue and have tips on how to get it resolved?

Howdy guys, I've been looking at living in a 2x2 at the Lofts at Wolf Pen next year. I've read a lot of bad reviews but also a lot of good reviews so I'm not too sure what to think. I understand that most apartments here in CS have bad reviews so some I try to look past, but I want y'all's thoughts.

Here's what I like (from my tour) -
Location - I want to be a little bit away from campus, close to HEB/Target
Amenities - I like their gym and pool(s) better than some of the other places I've looked at (honestly probably wont use these as much as I say so doesn't really matter)
Room - I liked the look of the tour room. I understand that the actual rooms will be worse than the tour room, but I still enjoyed the feel
Front desk staff were very nice. I know that it's their job to be overly nice, but some of the other places had terrible front desk people.

Here's what I've seen from negative reviews -
Fire alarms going off a lot
Poor internet
Poor maintenance
Apartments are very dirty at move-in

Some of these complaints are from old reviews so hoping that it's gotten better since. I've seen some people say it's great and some people say it's terrible, so just wanting more opinions.
