is Laura Jane Grace a flat-earther?

in The Ocean she sings about "there is an ocean in my soul where the waters do not curve"... ocean water not curving is usually considered a key piece of evidence by flat-earthers... if the waters don't curve then the earth has to be flat...

has she ever explained this lyric in any other way? seems to be pretty straightforwardly flat-earther to me. which, just for the record, I think would be pretty cool. I'm not personally committed to flat earth theory but I like hearing both sides of the debate.

I'm honestly surprised there's not more transgender flat-earthers, you'd think once you question your assigned gender you'd be more willing to question all the other bullshit that society tries to make you believe... but that's just my opinion 🏳️‍⚧️

Does anyone know where to find this song?

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/against-me/1998/higher-learning-records-fort-myers-fl-53d8db85.html

January 1st, 1998. At Higher Learning Records, Fort Myers, Florida, USA.

Every song on this setlist is from vivida vis, while the one outlier is called "soy milk"

Soy Milk is a fully unknown song. I can't find any other evidence of the song even existing at all. Typically, on setlist.fm, it will be noted underneath a song if it is a cover, unreleased, etc. but these older setlists usually have less info. Therefore this could very well just be a cover of a song from another band, but I'd appreciate even just to have proof of that

A while back someone posted a youtube link to a 1998 show, but that link is dead now. I thought maybe that song would've been played during that show. A lot of the dates on setlist.fm in 1998 don't have setlists listed, so soy milk could've been in way more setlists

Do you think they’ll re-record the Ocean to update the lyrics?

We would have two children, build our home on the Gulf of America.

Thoughts?

Drum sheet music or notation?

This might be a long shot, but is there anywhere that I can find drum notations or sheet music for AM! songs? Most specifically We Laugh At Danger or anything off of Reinventing Axl Rose, if possible!

Thank you in advance!!

Snare used on Reinventing?

Does anyone here know what snare was used on Reinventing Axl Rose? I’m trying to find it because I really like the sound but I can find no information on it.

Guitar tab for "these anarcho punks are mysterious"

Okay so I'm trying to find an accurate tab for these anarcho punks are mysterious but it seems they're all wrong. In the video of her playing the acoustic version live she clearly hits that first chord somewhere in the middle of the neck, but every other tab I find says the first chord Ia f#m starting on the second fret with a power chord. It sounds like it's the right chord but it's way far off from how she plays it. Any advice or does anybody have an accurate tab?

I'm trying to find an image or copy of a tour shirt from 2019

Hi! I recently saw some family photos from 2020 and I saw a forgotten shirt I got from against me, but I can't remember the whole thing. I know I got it at the Mohawk Austin show in Dec 2019, I know it has a UFO in the corner, but that's all I remember. Anybody have an image of it? It's driving me up a wall!

Yeah, I'm not surprised

Listened to a lot of LJG's solo stuff this year too. My egg cracked 🏳️‍⚧️ a little over a year today and I was going through it, and listening to her music helped a lot.

I don't care if Laura hates it, Animal is amazing.

It's such a powerful song, perfectly describes the mix of lust and gender envy that trans women go through when they see someone they want to be. I remember being little and constantly having the thought "am I attracted to her or do I just want to be her". 9/10 times it was the latter.

Why?

Why is Laura’s wife singing on stage at all of her shows now? Paris “Yoko” Campbell. She’s a talentless leech.

Not that Laura’s music has been good for the past decade or anything but Paris isn’t helping.

I miss Tom Gabel.

Manchester show?

Is anyone going to the Manchester show? Gigs aren't for me but I feel like I might have to go to this one - I love LJG so much. The fact that nobody has tweeted about it today yet isn't helping with my nerves though!
