Hey guys, I was wondering whether there is any effect of modafinil on testosterone negatively. According to my understanding adhd meds increase serotonin for a prolonged period of time which negatively impacts test. I couldn't find any research on this though.

I am generally quite sensitive and have never exceeded a 100mg dosage. Typically, I take 50mg and had not experienced any side effects until recently. After my latest 50mg dose, I started to experience excessively sweaty palms, chills, and slightly red eyes about two hours post-ingestion. These symptoms subsided after an hour.

Although it was somewhat challenging to maintain focus, I managed to do so. My primary concern is whether continuing to take this medication and disregarding the side effects could lead to more severe consequences in the future.

I am lucky to have this Modafinil for me to concentrate on tasks. I am forgetful, and just hard to pay attention. It gives me added anxiety though. All ssris make me foggy in the head. I take clonopin to help with anxiety. I just need to talk with someone who knows what I am going through and has succeeded in finding help with anxiety. Thank you

hi! i have a question about modafinil.

i’m 20 years old, female, 5’5 and about 110lbs. i have never taken anything like this ever. i have a history with drugs like mdma, ketamine, etc but last time i took anything like that was well over a year ago. i take no other prescriptions and i am not on birth control.

i took 100mg 2 hours ago and then another 100mg an hour after that. i feel nothing. i wasn’t necessarily tired before this so i don’t feel any more awake. i took it on an empty stomach sort of, i had eaten 1/2 hours before taking it.

should i take another 100mg? or 50mg? or anything more at all? or should i keep waiting? i have an important piece of work due tomorrow and perhaps ive done the wrong thing by depending on this..

I tried 100mg of Armodafinil the other day and was relaxed and focused. This afternoon, I tried 175mg Propylhexedrine and was relaxed and focused.

I have a severe depression with excessive sleeping.Took 200mg modafinil. First day i was little bit euphoric and had some improved mood and energy. Couple of days after taking it i felt improvement a bit in my mood, nothing special. I took a dose in the afternoon after work, but still felt tired and slept alot.

Could i be resistant to it, or first time taking it had some placebo effect?

I take 100 mg of Modalert and 100 mg caffeine pills. The stuff is amazing when you're on it. Extremely productive and super engaged with whatever you're doing. The downside is the memory loss is terrible and it would last me 2 to 4 days. The memory loss is caused by the brain fog. I would forget basic names and even the name of the street I drove by every day for the past 10 years. If only the memory loss didn't occur this would be the perfect stack for me.

Hello I live in the UK so importing Modafinil can be quite expensive and just generally tricky (scams). What are some alternative options that are more affordable/accessible in the UK?

I am aware that most people claim not to drink coffee with it. I always drink two to three strong cups of coffee every day. I'm addicted to coffee and won't give it up. It also seems to make modafinil work better and gives me more energy and focus. However, I'm simply wondering whether this is the cause of my inability to fall asleep. Does anyone else continue to drink coffee?

background: i'm preparing for a big exam that has been taking 99% of my time since September 2023, it really is a deal breaker and my career and livelihood depends on how well i score on that exam.

i cut down on sleep to study more, 5-6 hours were all i was willing to "waste" sleeping, of course it made me tired just two weeks in, so i started taking armodafinil daily, 50 mg, then 75 mg, then 150 mg, nonstop, it went extremely well and i was sharp and quick and could study 10 hours without taking a break.

i got caught up in the no sleep business and cut down on sleep more, it's been a month or so since i have started sleeping 3-4 hours a day, it was going well until a week ago when i started feeling extremely fatigued, it's like armodafinil suddenly stopped working . i feel so sleepy, almost like i'm in a haze most of the time. low on energy but also on the verge of having a mental breakdown where i wreck havoc on everything i can lay my hands on. i'm demotivated and i can't keep my focus for a single hour without feeling like i need to start mindless scrolling on twitter. my exam is in May and i don't know what to do. can i reset without taking an extensive break? is my brain fried? what should i do?

Two years of use, excellent results beyond the adverse effects. Unfortunately they no longer provide me with any benefit, the stage of increased motivation, concentration, focus and desire to work is over. Now only the adverse effects remain, hyperhidrosis, fine tremor, rage, and increased intestinal transit.

I tried to take breaks, NAC, memantine and other drugs to try to reestablish the basal level and revert the tolerance, unfortunately I found no way, for now I will keep it in the cupboard for a year and in 2025 I will try it again.

Hey guys. I have been 250mg daily of Armodafinil. I am prescribed. Sometimes I take 500 mg in a day. I recently ordered a sample pack because I wanted to try some different brands as well as try regular modafinil. It came with nootropil. Do I take this instead of my armodafinil or do I take them together? What roes nootropil feel like?

FL-Moda didn’t give me much of an effect even with coffee. I didn’t have that really stimulated feeling. Armodafinil made me feel like constantly alert to the point it made me a bit antisocial and just wanted to get work done.

Besides benzodiazepines, can anyone recommend some pharmaceuticals, nootropics, or supplements that are good for a comedown on modafinil? The comedown isn't severe like Adderall or other illicit substances, but I always feel tired and depressed later in the evening. I am wondering if there is something a doctor could prescribe that doesn't put me to sleep and just evens things out. I have tried gabapentin, kratom, cannabinoids (such as THCv, CBG, CBD), l-theanine, magnesium, ashwagandha, phenibut, ketamine, and the least optimal choice, a few alcoholic beverages. Phenibut and ketamine seem like the most effective, and they don't make me feel like I'm going to crash and fall asleep, although I'm not sure if these are good for daily use in low to moderate doses.

So I took Modafanil for the first time on Saturday, and I woke up Sunday morning with a painfully swollen lymph under my chin. I didn't feel sick, didn't have a fever. The only thing different was that I had taken Modafanil the day before, so I looked up side effects and swollen lymph under chin was one of the symptoms. It was recommended I call my doctor, but since it was Sunday I didn't. I just used a warm compress, and it took 2 days to go down. I can't find any information on what causes this. I'm so bummed, because I tried forever to get this prescription, and now I can't even take it!

In relation to your knowledge and experiences what supplements work best with Modafinil that enhance the potential anti-depressant properties. The compounds such as Inositol and L methyfolate seem to be the most interesting.

I was just curious if anyone has any knowledge on a single or multiple natural plants replacements for the effects of armodafinil. (I am aware that modafinil does not occur naturally in nature.)

I’ve taken both generic American Modafini and Armodafinil but haven’t experienced any of the increased focus or wakefulness as explained in these medical studies. I could honestly fall asleep on these generics and haven’t noticed any benefit whatsoever. I’m going to try Waklert 150 due to the great reviews everywhere. Should I just take the whole 150mg? I worry the Indian version of the medicine will have the same effect of the American Generics.

I seem to have reached full or at least near full Armodafinil tolerance after 16 weeks of daily use (prescribed by my psychiatrist for depression and comorbid hypersomnia).

Even exceeding the max doses has nearly no stimulating effect on me at all.

My appointment is after 1.5 months from now. I've been completely off of it for approximately 4 days now.

Is there something that I can do to reset my tolerance towards it other than what I'm already doing (Plan: Fully abstaining from it for at least a month).

"When lauflumide is used in combination with a psychostimulant, the dosing schedule for the psychostimulant is 10-30 mg/day of methylphenidate, 100 to 400 mg/day of modafinil. Combination with an amphetamine salt is not advised."

Why would an Amphetamine salt, like Adderall, be discouraged to be taken in combination with FlModafinil, while a methylphenidate, like Ritalin, would be considered fine?

I have been on it a week-prescribed for narcolepsy- and the benefits are clear. But I have cottonmouth non-stop and I have been getting headaches the past 3 days from when I wake up for work at 4:30am until about 7am (which I have taken 800mg of ibuprofen for) and then again around noon until 2pm (which suspect is from the ibuprofen wearing off.)

Anyway, looking to see if anyone else has dealt with it and how they fared.

I also take Agmatine Sulfate 750mg, L-theanine 400mg, and saffron 60mg. As well as some stomach medication and non-narcotic nerve pain medication. I dont know if that info is relevant or not.

Got prescribed 200mg tablets. Should I start w half or the whole thing? I take 5-15mg of adderall daily so I do have some stimulant tolerance.

Modafinil sometimes gives me brain fog I belive its because modafinil increases histamine which I read (not sure) can lead to reduction in acetylcholine I think

Anyways, without moda my brain is clear but I have adhd so while it's clear it's dispersed, on it I can stick to one task for long but thr brain fog is BAD

I bought indian Modafinil online. I started from low dose and then higher doses.

Now I took 400mg (two tablets) and I feel nothing or maybe music sounds a bit better. I am laying in bed and I am still tired.

So I've used adrafinil for a while with a lot of breaks in between orders due to it being hard to find. I have a few questions that more experienced users might be able to answer. My first question is does what is the standard dosage that you use/would recommend? Second is there possibly another nootropic compound that can "stabilize" and maybe "extend" the effects of it such as how l-theanine can somewhat does for caffeine? Third is there a noticeable crash for adrafinil and how long does it take the crash to come into effect after you took the adrafinil? And fourth can adrafinil be implemented into a nootropic stack to compliment the effects of other nootropic compounds, things like phenylpiracetam or phenibut?
