Wanted a change from my more detailed pages in mythologica and found this cute little pair of fairies in a Goblincore coloring book I bought a few years ago. I’m still learning so things are definitely not perfect but I’m pretty proud of the hair and skin on the green fairy. Only change so far is i wish o had chosen a slightly more muted blue for the fairy on top. Would love tips and tricks to apply as I go if anyone has anything. Also, background ideas would be amazing, I’m lost there 😂
So I’ve had the Animorphia book by kerby Rosanes for quite awhile now and when I’m looking to feel inspired I’ll page through my coloring books and hope that some creative juices are going to reveal to me the diamond in the rough…lol. I’ve been purposely avoiding this picture tho bc I probably have 50 WIP’s going on at the same time and I didn’t want to start yet another one and chance that it may never get finished…but… I think it’s looking GREAT! So I’m sharing it with y’all here too.
Anyone know of any good deals happening on prime day? Looking for some new supplies or coloring books.
Looks like a few of the Johanna Basford books are on sale :)
The light purple is a bit too light but I like the contrast with the other colors.
I had two of their colouring books saved in my Etsy favourites but they don't seem to be selling on Etsy anymore and I can't find anything useful with a Google search. Does anyone know what happened to the artist or where I might be able to get hold of copies?
I can't give links to the books because they just come up with a "Sold Out" thing but the artist was listed on Etsy as TheAlienGarden.
Can anyone give me information on this series, I bought several online after I initially pick one up at the local dollar store. Where can I buy the series?
I’m super new to this community and hope this is okay here but I was hoping to get some recommendations for coloring books. I’m waiting on some ohuhu markers I ordered and would love to get some books to use with them. I really like the kind of doll like/chibi type art style with markers so anything like that would be amazing. I’d really like to have a few specifically human centered ones to learn skin and cloth shading with them.
I’m also trying to work on coloring skin, hair, and cloth with pencils so any recommendations for more human centric coloring books with a lot of people or nimals to practice hair and skin would be amazing. I absolutely love super detailed pages with my pencils. My current project is the mythographic enchanted castles book so things similar to that would be good as well (maybe with less found objects though).
Thanks in advance
All finished ✅
I tried to use glitter pens for the sun. They didn’t photograph well, but looks great in person!
