I'm just an generalist dev, I have this website and I get around 200k visits a month. I'm using google adsense right now.
I'm browsing here reading about header bidding, wrappers, ssp, open bidding. This world is WILD. Lot's of websites all selling me ads optmization, ai, wrapper, adx access. So much options and I all the content seem to be generated from such websites. How to know who to trust? What's next step?
I just wanted to improve my earning.
Any good soul could point me in the right direction?
I’m currently evaluating some platforms that can help buy display/programmatic ads at scale across many different sites and has good audience data - 3rd party for targeting
I’ve stumbled upon Choozle and it looks great for our budget, but wondering if anyone has other recommendations for other self service programmatic platforms?
Looking for something to compare it to before I commit to testing it out.
And what is your experience
Can someone provide a good Google Search campaign setup for $50k in budget left for December. This is for a nonprofit looking for donation revenue.
Tried following the instruction here https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6034106?hl=en but couldn't find the option
These are my campaign settings:
I want to cap the amount of times the same user sees my ad, the online documentation says that it is possible but I tried looking everywhere how and couldn't find.
Has anyone tried The Moneytizer and are they a reputable company to go with?
Hello Everyone,
I would appreciate your guidance regarding my current programmatic setup. It seems to be underperforming for my Tier 3 traffic, which constitutes a significant portion of my audience.
I'm looking for recommendations on how to connect with the right direct advertisers who would resonate with my website's audience.
If you have any suggestions for platforms or strategies, I would be grateful for your insights.
Is there a way to approach direct advertisers?
Thank you in advance!
My site is a job board but I also ocassionally post blog articles on it. I have around 16 blog posts in total.
I recently signed up for ezoic, but it broke my site, so I had to get rid of it. Constant origin errors and slow loading times.
But even after removing it, my traffic is still way down!
Before signing up for ezoic, I had around 55k-60k monthly views. And this was consistent, not just one month. And now my monthly views are around 27k. A huge drop.
I think this disqualifies me from most ad networks and for some reason Google adsense won't accept me (though they won't tell me specifically why).
Is there any ad network that will work for a small site but also won't destroy my site like ezoic?
hi, i'm conducting a research i'd like to see how a/b test are set up, interpreted and what you like or dislike in the platform. I'm willing to pay for your time. Please DM if interested
Anybody know how the bankruptcy case is going with this company? Weirdly they messaged me to see if I’m interested in partnership yet they went bankrupt and never paid outstanding debt from previously. How is it possible to start up again?
Hi,
I am consulting this publisher who has high volume of traffic and I am looking for a contact to apply for Google Adx for smalll publisher for this publisher. Any contact or referral would be great. Please DM if anyone can help. Thanks
Hey there 👋🏻 I just started a community about Journey By Mediavine to address popular QnAs, FAQ.

I thought I would reach out to the adops community to see if any of you will be attending CES. I'm helping onboard demand partners for dozens of online media companies (not taking a revshare) and it would be great to meet some of you in person. Thank you!
We want to use this thread to invite small pubs to ask any questions they may have about getting started in monetization
When trying to understand / evaluate as partners getting community feedback can be very helpful
Here are some suggested questions that we recommend:
What are the nuances of demand?
What percentage of your demand is unique?
What formats are supported, and how does performance compare?
What Verticals / Platforms and types of inventory perform well?
What KPIs (other than CPM) are important to monitor that you should be aiming to achieve?
What other sites does the partner work with?
Can they provide references? How long have they been in business?
We really want to encourage a healthy dialogue here as others are genuinely trying to learn.
Where are my Adop Specialists & Campaign Managers connections in Digital Advertising?
2025 is just around the corner, and I’m looking to chat with some awesome people who are crushing it in the digital ad space!
Most of Our roles are REMOTE anywhere in the United States. Shoot me a DM with your LinkedIn link. I’m a recruiter for an Ad Network and I’d love to connect!
I am working with Aniview, but the revenue has been declining steadily since the last few months.
I only use out stream ads and am in the EU region.
Any input?
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for programmatic ad solutions for a newsletter. I can't get a hold of anyone at LiveIntent and PowerInbox/ Jeeng has some really really bad inventory. I get over 2M monthly impressions, so I would think that would've been big enough for a better solution.
I get a pretty high number of house ads showing for my APP inventory. Two things
To me that equates to 40-55% of my app inventory is lost via a combination of creative rendering and discrepancy. It defaults to a house ad.
Is it normal/industry standard to lose 30% of your APP inventory to creative render failure? (ie user navigation, connectivity etc). Google documentation says to only be concerned if the creative render rate is "below 80% for display, 50% for video, or 30% for apps"
Do you see a similar programmatic discrepancy for app monetization?
What can I do?
Site improvement (speed, viewability, ad placement)
More direct orders (vs programmatic)
creative troubleshooting......
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance
Looking for some insights on how RPMs have shifted for publishers leveraging "outstream" or "accompanying content" players. How are RPMs comparing to pre-definition update (I think that was April)? In general what RPMs are you seeing from them (U.s., mobile vs desktop)? and what provider are you using?
Always hated those ads as a user and wondering from a tool in the monetization-stack if the juice remains worth the squeeze or if alternate publisher solutions are becoming comparable with less a knock to UX.
I'm not running them now but investigating their use for some properties.
Hi adops community! I was wondering recently if someone would be able to compare Amazon's performance through different mediations. A colleague wants to plug Amazon through his Admob, but also thinks about choosing other mediation and plugging Amazon through there. I'm thinking I'd recommend other mediation, but maybe someone here manages more apps and more than just one mediation or has some experience with it and would be willing to share?
Short: is Amazon network's performance different in admob and in the other mediations?

Tried looking into this and it looks like I need to reach out to the DSP to issue a ouath token. Has anyone gone through this process? Is the convenience worth it or does it create some unintended issues?
Edit: Never mind, there's a 5k set up cost.
Hi everyone,
I run a free hosting service, and I'm considering implementing a system where users need to watch a short video ad to renew their free plan. However, I'm struggling to figure out where I can source these video ads from.
Does anyone have experience with this or recommendations on platforms or services that provide video ads for this type of use case?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Can someone share links? Thanks in advance !
Hi, we have recently changed from Adform to DV360 and our CPMs are wildly lower than in Adform (going from $8 to $1.50), meaning our adserving bills are much higher than expected.
We have all our campaigns set to conversions goal, all the targeting is set, frequency caps etc. We have turned off apps as well to avoid spamming but the difference is still crazy. We have been loading the banners in CM360 and serving them through to DV.. is that best practice? I have seen some notes online that its best just to click track?
Our rep hasnot been very forthcoming with loading and our agency is small so struggling to find much online to help with these questions! I am very new to Programmatic and just trying to figure out the new system.
Thank you!
Hey, I’ve been working at a start-up curation business for a couple months now, and I’m genuinely curious about your thoughts in the space. I’ve noticed how some people would use us more over others but I wanted to ask a general crowd running campaigns.
Would you ever use a curation partner, if so, what would you want to see as a non-negotiable feature, or even a great value add (apart from the usual, more reach, audiences, optimisations etc)? Why wouldn’t you want to use a curation partner?
Quite interested to hear also for anyone who have used a curation partner before and made you stay/leave, and do you actively avoid them, or haven’t considered it at all?
Essentially I’m looking for what matters to the end user, not what a few people think on LinkedIn, as we want to service our clients the best as possible, also I’m happy to hear harsh truths haha

Since we're approaching end of year, is there going to be discussion around the best DSP for 2024?

I have been using monumetric since 2021. I have 10 sites, their traffic varies between 10k - 200k per month. 90% mobile US traffic. My values compared to Adsense are as follows
- Adsense alone gives between $14 - $18 per 1000 views.
- Monumetric gives between $12-13. sometimes 15 $.(very rare) The problem starts with a viral news or event. When the stable website traffic gets 5-6 times more traffic than it should that day, the volume cannot be filled and drops to 7-6 dollars according to the e-mail from monumetric. That's why I use adsense and monumetric together for this type of traffic spikes and maximum filling. Monumetric's sticky footer, stcicky header and single square ad after 1.st paraagraph - while adsense's vignette and full article ads after 2-4-6-8- 10 etc.
Total i have 3 monumetric ad ( footer, header and after paragrapg) and 4-5 adsense ad ( vignette + in article)
-So adsense and monumetric ad generate total 16 $.(7-9 $ monumetric, and 7-8 $ adsense).
However, since I receive adsense payments to my bank account, the tax system in my country is a bit complicated, so it is very convenient for me to receive monumetric payments to Payoneer, but I am only looking for advertising companies like Mediavine Adthrive, where I will only use their ads and will not cause problems with this type of fill rate.
How is Journey by mediavine? Compared to adsense? Can a stable website experience a filling problem during sudden bursts of traffic?
I know mediavine and adthrive are better than monu, but is journey also good?
I created a small internal web app for my company that automates trafficking in terms of creating campaings, ad groups / ad sets / placement names based on a given naming convention. It also handles any external tracking codes and query parameters the team may need. Do you use something similar? Would you think this is a service worth paying for? This is a bit of a research question to check if it be worth expanding the tool for external people like yourselves to use it.
Or are you happy managing trafficking via good old excel?
Thank you!
