I've seen crazy transformation for acne scars from Dr philip young, wanted to see if yall have gotten good improvements?
will adapalene or epiduo help for this?
Hey, I have my first co2 Laser Appointment tomorrow and i‘m looking forward to it for months now! Sadly i got sick moni have really bad throat pain and overall a sick feeling. My human brain tells me it shouldn’t be a problem cause i will rest anyways. But is it okay? Can my body handle both healing? I‘ve been having throat pain for over a week now so idk maybe k even need antibiotics which could be a problem for the laser probably.
had this acne scar for a year, i have no insurance to go to dermatologist, any solutions or do y’all think i have to deal with this the rest of my life??
Hello, I have a question about acne scars. When we examine our scars with the shadow technique, do people see our scars like that in everyday life or is it not possible?
i got rf microneedling on the 26th of november and i got fraxel laser on the 16th of december i heard that the rf microneedling and the laser yield more results in the long run so when do i usually start to see results? i already see results everytime that i get out of a session but ive heard that after a while it is way better.
What was your experience like with the doctor you saw, how many sessions did you need to feel like you didn’t need further treatments, and where are they located? Thank you in advance🙏🏽
A bump appeared on my chest on the spot where the pimple was. Bump appeared 3 months ago and I never touched the pimple. Worried it's a hypertrophic scar..
I know I might be jumping the gun, but two days into this I feel like I've already seen improvement in my scars. If this keeps improving it'll be the best $95 I've ever spent.
Hey I‘m working online and i have a important meeting on tuesday. On Monday i‘ll have a fully ablative co2 Laser. Will I be able to talk and think properly the day after, and its just the look that has the „downtime“. Or should i take completely rest from everything?
After seeing this guy’s post a few months ago I thought his dermatologist was an idiot, but after spending some time on this sub I think he was actually right, nothing really works 🙁

Recently went to Dr. Qazi for another consult to see if I'm eligible scar treatment. Luckily he said my skin is ready for it and I'll be pursuing treatment in February 2025! I'll be keeping this sub updated with the process and my thoughts throughout my experience.
For my treatment specifically he noted my scars are mostly superficial and range from mild to moderate. Thus, I will be doing less invasive procedures and take a more gradual approach to address them. Here is my treatment plan, I think I have two sessions of each.
TCA Cross - Mild (no clue what mild means!)
Bellafill (1 syringe)
Fractionated Resurfacing Laser (2 seshes)
Additionally I'm required to use their pigment control cream, collagen after-care mask, and some silicone tape! I already own the pigment control cream however so this is not a worry.
Hoping for the best, I can answer any questions about my experience thus far though I'm not sure if I can publicly disclose prices or anything. I've so far done Accure laser and received acne treatment outside of it with Dr. Qazi's office, feel free to ask questions about the experiences :)
EDIT: extra info about me, 19F (20 by the time of procedure) mixed white/southeast asian, low sun exposure on the reg :)
RF microneedling gave me some improvement on icepicks and box scars but did NOT work for rolling scars. I’m too afraid to do subcision as it can cause sagging. I have also done CO2 fully ablative laser but it did not help me at all. I’m so lost at this point.
I've done 3 sessions of RF microneedling two years ago. I feel like it improved the depth of my scarring but it made them appear wider so I'm hesitant to try that again.
ROUTINE

I'm thinking of adding hyaluronic acid into my routine alongside azelaic acid (finacea) since I heard that helps with skin texture.
Any help is appreciated, thank you kind internet strangers!
currently on accutane, hence the redness but there is scarring and when i put flashlight directly above my cheeks i can see some scarring. is there anything that i can do??
im miserable rn. im starting to lose hope in ever curing my hormonal acne. all of these solutions seem to be temporary like birth control, accutane, etc… i dont know what to do anymore and pls stop telling me to go on accutane because i dont want to risk my life over acne and its only a temporary solution like i said
Current i am undergoing treatment for acne scars which includes a subsicion session and ongoing Fractional laser sessions.. i have seen much improvment thereafter... scars have improved but still imperfections are visible... are there and creams that i can apply to hide my scars during social events...??
