Anyone else love Dax's poetry/lyrics?
The early stuff is edgy and gross like splatter-punk, but for some reason it works. Something about the way he uses words are so vivid and dark while still being poetic .like "A scattering of dust to the winds, this celebration of old skin." or the picking scabs with ambition prose. He is probably my biggest inspiration for writing along side Maynard from tool. His newer work is also really good as-well but with massively different vibes to them.
