Okay so this is dumb but me and my friends used to drink a bottle of robitussin every friday night and just as we were coming up would watch a video on (early) youtube (around 2008) which featured an acid bath song (don't remember which) to video of ww1 and nuclear bomb tests. I really don't have a better description - just an acid bath song set to old footage.

Anyone know this video? It's impossible to find things on google and youtube in 2024 so it's effectively lost to me now.

How do you think he wrote it? By this I mean has he ever said like a specific technique he uses to write lyrics, do we know anything at all? Does he write lyrics pretty much on the spot, does he get inspiration from other bands, does he get inspiration from other forms of art like movies or books etc?

First I'd like to say I had no idea there was a Bath sub and I find that awesome. Hopefully some of you are youngsters who got turned on by your dad. I'm also pleased that those who weren't alive or old enough get a chance to see this band. But this reunion gig feels like a betrayal. Obviously Audie not being there is a massive problem, but moreso because they quit for that reason. Why compromise now? Now the main problem I have with this is Acid Bath is a gulf coast band. They made their bones by playing dirty, personal venues that people like me and my friends would travel down the coast to see. They are not a big arena band, and shouldn't pretend they are. They should have given the people in Houma or New Orleans the first crack at seeing them again. Sorry this feels like a shameless money grab. I hope I'm wrong and they come tour down here after. Still love you guys. Also... eat my dead cock. Oh yeah.

I feel like there’s no way they would be booking shows like this if at least Dax and Sammy hadn’t gotten together and played already. Maybe just a quick session, but it makes me happy just knowing they’ve probably played music together again. Acid Bath exists again and I’m over here shivering with anticipation.
